One was pretty easy and the other one was a bit tuff. The alteration lady reassured me the work that was needed for the dresses and the price. I agreed with the price and expected the dress to be altered in a month. Keep in mind she had looked at the hemming of the dress and knew exactly how the hem needed to be done. If it was difficult she could have just said "no I will not alter it." I went to pick up both of my dresses yesterday and only the dress that was an easy fix was fixed. The other one was not done at all because the alterations lady stated that "she no longer felt like altering the dress" because of the price she quoted me. So I asked the front desk girl (supper sweet btw) if she could ask her how much she would like to fix the dress. The alterations lady stated "she doesn't want to do it because she doesn't feel like it." I'm never coming back here and will not recommend this location to ANYONE. I didn't even get a call to notify me that the dress won't be altered at all. Thankfully I didn't have a special event going on that couldn't have been affected by this whole mess. Absolutely ridiculous, absurd, and rude alteration lady. Completely unprofessional. To add to this, the owner of the location gave me a call to apologize and told me that her alterations lady is telling her a different story. The reason why the owner has so much conflict with her customers is because there is no clear communication with her own staff and completely ignores her customers concerns and conflicts. Don't call me to apologize and then say your staff is "telling a different story." Completely unprofessional.

A friend recommended JJ Alterations in the Boynton Beach Mall. I went in by JCPenney and found the business. Six women were busy sewing & some were waiting. There were 3 dressing rooms in this large shop. Even with the holidays my alterations will be ready next week. My clothing was ready when promised, the price appears to be fair. Everything looked correct. The hemmed items were hemmed, the ripped pocket was repaired as were the other items. Everything looks perfect and They accept credit cards. Hooray, I have a new tailor!!!

They routinely do a wonderful job with all of our dry cleaning needs. Service is always quick and professional. I also have to mention, they have a great sewing service here as well. My daughter wanted to add some rock band patches to her jean jacket and they took care of it with great skill and without any issues. One downside, parking can be wonky at times. Sometimes people double park right out front and block the road and/or the spots on the side get tied up by the school out back or random trucks. It's a bit annoying. All I all, this is a great dry cleaners. I've been going here for years and it remains my go to spot. Five stars.

I knew bringing them in was a bit of a shot in the dark because transparent silk is incredibly difficult to repair discreetly, and I honestly wasn't sure what could be done. Chris not only came up with an amazing solution, but she executed it BEAUTIFULLY. I genuinely like the pants even more now than I did before! Her pricing was also amazing. I truly was not expecting a repair like this to come in under $50, and I really appreciated how fair and honest her pricing was. As a woman working to grow my own business, that kind of integrity means a lot to me. The other ladies in the shop were also so sweet and genuinely excited for me when they saw how everything turned out. The space itself is also very nice and thoughtfully set up for alterations. You get a spacious private room for your consultation and fitting, so you feel comfortable and have privacy the entire time. I live in East Boca, and I will happily keep making the 20-25 minute drive to see Chris. She completely earned my trust, and I already can't wait to bring more pieces in for her to repair and alter. Stay far away from this place…read more My daughter was sent here by the dress shop where we bought her prom dress, and that was the first mistake. They completely took advantage of a 17 year old kid who was excited about her dress and trusted them. They talked her into a bunch of alterations and charged $450. What did we get for that? They butchered the dress. They cut way too much off the back straps so it no longer ties the way it was designed, and they removed the original manufacturer zipper to lower the back. When she got home, the bow couldn't even be done anymore and the "new" zipper they installed was already broken. We brought it back, and instead of owning it, they flat out denied touching the zipper, even though it was obviously replaced. Then they had the nerve to charge another $95 to "fix" it. At that point the original dress shop had to step in and call them out. Only then did they put the original zipper back in and still charged the full $450, didn't even complete the work they promised, and added another $65 charge for a "repair" they claimed they never did in the first place. So let's be clear: they overcharged, damaged the dress, lied about it, and then charged even more to cover their own mistakes. This isn't just bad service, it's dishonest, predatory behavior. They saw a young girl excited for prom and treated her like an easy target. Crooks. Liars. No accountability. Do not use them.
