So I went to the tailor to drop my dresses off and she told me a week and it took her 3 weeks to fix it oh my dresses were ruined. It was different thread. It was a horrible job. She was extremely rude she even forgot to sew the top of the dress. I wouldn't recommend going here. And it's ridiculous because you have to pay upfront. read more

I called this company numerous times asking to speak to the owner and wrote a comment on here asking them to contact me and I will no longer be silent about this pitiful business. This place is right by my house, how convenient right? Nope. I'd travel 5 hours if there were no other seamstress/dry cleaner near me!!!!! The first time I went, I was greeted by an older lady. I had already pinned my dress where I needed it, she told me it would be $15, no problem I could pick it up in a couple days. My boyfriend picked it up for me it was $20, ok not a big deal even though she said it was 15 whatever. It looked fine length was good. Next time I brought another dress to be hemmed, she told me it was $12, when my boyfriend picked it up that time they first told him they didn't have the dress, even though he had a ticket. Then after frantically looking they found it told him $25. I'm not sure if they're trying to rip off my boyfriend or if they're just bad at running a business. But that is unacceptable. First time was ok second time was the last time. Then to make matters worse the dress hem is UNEVEN. They ruined my dress. I called and the lady did not communicate well with me. This place is absolutely terrible do not come here!!!!!!! read more

On a saturday I stopped by to drop pants for mere hemming - she was closed for lunch. I went back and gave her the inseam dimensions - no trying on or pinning necessary. I had to prepay in full and prices were competitive (and high) with Delray Beach prices. She said following saturday but after 3 pm I went back at 3:45 following saturday. She could not find the pants. She finally realized they were in the bag I dropped them off in and nothing had been done. She offered a refund but could not find the transaction. She said I could come back. I walked away leaving my full payment and am going elsewhere. In addition her shop looked like an episode of hoarders. Not a good business woman. read more

Frans Sew N Sew has left me beyond disappointed. I am terribly angry and upset about my recent experience there this May/ June. I took in a lot of alterations- about a dozen items. I was told to come back in one week to pick them up. So I returned the following week, where they told me to return again tomorrow. Repeated this once more!!! Finally, all of the items were done, (double the predicted completion time- so I left theses items behind on a vacation I intended to have them for!) and upon my checking over my items, which of half were newly purchased... I found a giant oil stain, which smelled of one's lunch, on a brand new $200 garment I HAD NEVER WORN. They dry cleaned it... and it didn't come out... they offered to "try once again"... but I left... never to return. This is the most awful customer service experience I have ever received. I am still upset about their lack of ownership. read more

This is by far the worst cleaner experience my husband and i have ever had! They stapled tags on my husbands 600 dollar blazer and burnt the collar on his 150 dollar dress shirt. When my husband went in to have it dealt with, they said they didnt do it and it wasnt their responsibility!!! they procedded to tell my husband he had serious mental problems because he was so bothered by this.. I have brought a couple of things in here over the years for minor alterations. I brought in a long wrap silk skirt with two tiers in for a hem on the bottom tier because it was fraying. Told them bottom tier only. Said it would be around $20. Great. Went to pick it up today and the owner laughed and said it's very expensive. $95. They did both tiers of the skirt instead of just one and he said well it's a very wide skirt. I looked at him and I said there's no way I can afford to pay you $95 to put a ham on a skirt I paid $15 for. Obviously I want my skirt back. Any idea of them holding it hostage because they wanted so much money was a little ridiculous. He said will you do $50 for it and I just said fine cause I wanted my skirt back. Couple of people who I told the story to and showed skirt to them all thought it was absolutely insane. This isn't a freaking wedding dress alteration. Another woman in the nail salon told me she had the same experience with them not honoring their prices. I will never go back. You should be ashamed of yourselves. It's a very small little area over here with lots of people who need services. I hope they read this and go elsewhere. A place that charges $95 for a hem should be out of business read more

The worst service I have received, the woman and man working the counter very rude when picking up my order. I had duty pants ($50) hemmed 1/2 inch. The woman that hemmed my pants cut that mid calf and sewed it back together and didn't match the hem line. She cut an extra half inch off as well. Needless to say I confronted them about it and she denied doing it to my pants. They refused to refund or even take responsibility for their work. read more

The owners of this business are rude and customer service is non existent! Tried to pay for altered clothing today and the owner pretended that my credit card was declined and insisted I pay with cash or check. When I told her I didn't have either she continued to pretend that all my cards were declined. Finally when she realized I wasn't going to get cash amazingly my card worked. I called my credit card company afterwards to ask of they declined my card and they said no they hadn't and had no reason to. The owners of this business provide mediocre service and want to charge for first class. Will def have to find another alteration place. read more

Took my husbands winter jacket in for repair a few weeks back. The bottom of the zipper had pulled away from the fabric of the jacket. He asked Frans to decide whether it was easier to put a new zipper in or just do a repair and give him approximate pricing. Three weeks later we never got a call so called about the jacket today. They ordered the wrong length zipper so had to order a longer one.. They never called to give us pricing or ask if they should go ahead ... Item still unrepaired and just sitting there. No communication what so ever was made to us. We still have no idea what the price will be. Had we known it was such a hassle we would have gone to another tailor in the area. I have had better experiences with Frans in the past but communication has always been a very week point with this business. Good thing he doesn't need the jacket this winter. We'd be outta luck. read more
