So I made my appointment and meet up with Doctor Geller he is very thorough and after seeing what my problem was he explained what needed to be done. He also has an amazing group of ladies that definitely knows how to treat his patients. So after two hours of testing, Dr.Geller and I have another little meeting and decided that he would start the procedure. Which was two treatments. And tell me to come back in six months after my second procedure. Which was yesterday, I told him my left eye was 80% better. And I could live with it if I had to but I would prefer to be 100%. He told me to leave her alone. He felt that he couldn't make it any better. He also told me that he felt that I didn't need cataract surgery and that I should've gotten a second opinion! It really touched me yesterday for a specialist to tell his patient how he really felt about another specialist in the area who has a very huge and large practice! I met with Dr Robin who first explained the possible causes of dry eyes and then subjected me to a couple of tests. Wow! I was fascinated with both tests and clearly saw evidence that some of my tear ducts were clogged and decaying. Dr Robin then performed a 10-minute Lipiflow treatment that was designed to unclog my tear ducts to prevent further decay. The treatment itself was very benign and, while I won't realize full benefit from the Lipiflow treatment for a couple months, I was happy that I was finally getting some relief for my eyes. I said "My dog ate my glasses". She said let's take a look. In 15 minutes she re-formed my glasses perfectly. I said I bought them up North. She said not to worry, you our patient now.
