Great downhill sledding area in this awesome hill that feels frozen in time. The staff are great, the hill is large, and you can't beat the nighttime experience. We go every year. I think 90 min is like $35 per tube. (Not per person) so if one person in your group wants to try it once it is pretty cool you don't have to pay extra. We love this place. Apparently there is another place and they def have a ton of signage but we always follow the signs to Frazet hill. read more

Great spot for a bit of tubing fun. Hill gave a good ride. Unfortunately we came at the end of season so there wasn't as much snow and there was snow melting around some areas that make it hard to walk. On the plus side, there weren't much people there and after the last family left, we had the hill to ourselves. It is windy and cold up there although temp in car read 63 degrees. So bring jacket and snow shoes, snow pants too if you got them. And definitely some snow/ water proof gloves. It's an awesome view from the top of the hill so you get to enjoy the scenery. The prices were reasonable: $27 for 60min. and $32 for 90min. We did 90min. The hill was well kept for tubing. You get some good speed, lots of fun. They sell snacks and beverages inside, but you can bring your own. They have several picnic tables outside. This makes for a perfect family activity. They even have a tiny hill suitable for little kids to slide down by themselves. My kid didn't like that, though. He was all about the big hill. Skiing is great but not everybody is at the same level, so when you go with a group you don't always ski together. Tubing is different. Its an activity everyone can enjoy together. We were looking for fun for the entire family and Fraser Tubing Hill did not disappoint. This was a BLAST for ages 3-68! Our three year old isn't quite 36 inches so this was the best option for us as some competitors require children to be 36 inches. Just a few tips below. 1. Wear goggles and head gear. As you slide down the ice, ice dust will fly and it's cold if you're not covered up. 2. Cover up! It was 30 degrees when we went. The snow gear was a lifesaver. No one was cold. In fact, everyone was sweating by the end of it! 3. Use the lift to the right. If you're standing at the bottoms of the hill, head to your right and use that tube lift. Ahh the simple terror or going off the edge of a hill with no control. It's odd the fear that can be induced after realizing "well I guess I just need to see how this ends" after pushing off the side of this hill. Clipped into a snow board this would barely register as a bunny hill. Remove the ability to stop, turn, slow down, or even face forward on demand and you have a moment of panic on your way down! The lazy River feel of the tow back to the top is an enjoyable ride as you listen to others scream on their way down the slope. You think to yourself ahh yes, I understand the fear of letting go of control. Not only did the wife, myself and the little one all have a great time the staff was warm and friendly. Felt like we were in the back yard of a friends house. They all took care and gave off a feeling that they truly cared if we were enjoying our time. Would definitely return. First timer at Fraser Tuning Hill and I'm soooo glad we came! I love things like this but am also a bit of a scared-cat at first. Between my fears of getting run-over by other tubers and the brutally cold temps (my weather app listed temps in the single digits and teens this morning), I almost skipped it. That would've been a shame. We arrived at opening (10 AM New Year's Eve day). They must've opened RIGHT on smtime or a teensy but early cuz the parking lot was already filling and happy peeps were tubing down the hill. Some have knocked the somewhat haphazard organization inside. It is a bit chaotic, but pack some patience & good spirits and you'll be fine. This isn't the place to be a grouch. If you're coming as a family, only the responsible adult paying and signing the waiver needs to crowd inside. Everyone else can take a quick look at the safety video and head back outside to wait leaving more space for the line. The owners are super friendly and they've run this place for almost 50 years. Even though it seemed really crowded already, we were able to start tubing as soon as we payed. Waiting in line took 15-20ish minutes. Once we had our tubes, the fun was on! We paid a reasonable $30 for 90 minutes. Pay the extra $5 for the extra 1/2 hour. You'll be glad you did! Like I said I was a little nervous at first (I've only gone tubing on tracked tubing hills), but it was so much fun!!! Even though there were lots of people there, people were over all very safe and respectful. I never had anyone start tubing hot in my tail. They have staff at the bottom reminding tubers to look up the hill as thymes exit to the people-puller. Which bring a me to the next tip. The hill has two "people-pullers" (slightly different than a conveyor belt; you "rode your tube back up the hill). If it's crowded, both will be open. Pick the one with the shortest line and enjoy the ride up the hill! My three teenage/young adult kids and I had a blast during our 90 minutes. Sometimes we linked up to go down together, sometimes we rode down solo. My daughter loved tubing down "penguin style" on he tummy. And all loved it more than the Coca-Cola "tracked" tubing hill by the winter park ski resort. I highly recommend this spot for some non-skiing winter fun! read more

It was super easy to get everyone their tubes and planned ahead to get the waiver signed and turned in upon check in. Now that the family is getting bigger, we try to tub once every other year. I also call ahead to see how the snow is on the hill and if it is packed today. Yes, they have a great parking lot. Now, here's a HUGE pro tip that will save you lots of time: call ahead! They don't take official reservations but will put your name on the waiting list and once you arrive, you'll get priority over everyone else that just walked in. We called an hour before getting there and got our tubes right away, while everyone who didn't call was waiting 1.5+ hours. I can't stress how much of a difference this makes. Especially when the waiting area is rather cramped and there's not much to do! There are two lifts and we mainly stuck to the "fuzzy" lift on the right side (closest to the jump). It's a little faster and doesn't allow double riders. One time I thought it was a good idea to try to walk up the hill to challenge myself. Yeah... Don't do that. Make sure to go down the hill in all sorts of ways - link up with friends, fly on your belly, have someone spin you around. Throw caution to the wind! We paid for an hour and it was just enough time. They call your name over the loud speaker when you need to return your tubes. Driving in, you'll see two guys holding signs pointing to tubing hills. This is the "historic" one, but I'm not going to lie, the other one looked pretty cool too! All in all, it's a great time! We booked weeks in advance. They have a no tubes ready, literally no tubes at all. You have to wait in a 30+ minute wait for a tube. We booked for 2 hours and only have us 10 minutes till our time started. The line to get up the hill was going to take 30 minutes. So you really can barely go up 2 times. When we went to go ask about the owner they refused to give his number. It was just a whole scam. This was not the only time this has happened. It's just outrageous!!! read more
