We began perusing the menu and decided to start with the Arancini ("Cacio E Pepe Risotto, Tomato Sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano"). It's a stellar appetizer. I've had plenty of arancini in my time, but this stood out as a superior version. It was just so hearty and flavorful. And the accompanying sauce was perfect. For our pizza, we were torn between the Margherita ("Raff's Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Grana Padano, Fresh Basil") and The Annex ("Raff's Tomato Sauce, Spicy Sausage, Whipped Ricotta, Roasted Red Pepper, Hot Honey"), so it was a revelation when our very helpful and friendly server said we could do half and half. Both pizzas were phenomenal. They were bursting with flavor and the various components were all way above average. I'd have to give the edge to The Annex, though, because the combination of those ingredients really made every mouthful a total treat. I also have to single out our awesome server, who treated us each to a small glass of limoncello at the end of the meal. Now that's amazing service! Raffaella is a really cool place. We shared a Caesar salad to start, which was simple but good. We had the duck confit white pizza and the Iberian red pizza. They were both quite tasty, and I reheated them the next morning on the frying pan for breakfast! They had some decent wines to choose from as well.
