Great meals! A little loud at times. You certainly have to book well in advance. No booking day of.

The ambiance was perfect for a special night out, but not stuffy. Every bit of food and drink was delicious! I absolutely loved my Spiced Pear-tini, and my husband enjoyed The Kennedy. The Tuna Carpaccio was out of this world, bursting with flavor. We shared our entrées, which were both delicious! You cant beat a dish with homemade pasta and sauce, and the Casarecce did not disappoint. The Veal Parmesan was enormous, pounded thin with a light but crispy breading. We both agreed that the Tiramisu was the best we have ever tasted! Not overly sweet, light and creamy...scrape the bowl yummy!!

The pasta is perfectly made and so fresh. The wagyu meat ball was probably the best I have had, and I can also say their version of the carajillo made me fall in love with the drink. Just walking in and seeing the modern chandeliers, the elegant bar, the color scheme that is both elegant and contemporary at the same time. The bar tenders in their leather aprons are always well versed in both the drink menu and a wide variety of classic cocktails if you so choose. The wine list is a nice balance of Italian standards mixed in with American grapes that can handle some of the best sauce in the city. The service is nothing short of spectacular as the food ordering experience is brought to you by a team of people ensuring efficiency and excellence. But at the end of the day, the best part of this restaurant and really any restaurant has to be the food and the food here is just superb. After spending years eating mediocre Italian in the city its nice to see places like Adelina, Oak and Reel, and SheWolf really step and elevate Italian food as more than just noodles and sauce.

First, the place is so welcoming. Several different rooms as well as the outside patio, which has bocce ball. It was too warm & humid for us, so we sat inside at a table near the bar. The servers were all very friendly; it seemed a different person brought each course. We had the bread service and calamari for an appetizer. The bread and herb butter were very good, and I understand that it does cost the restaurant to serve it, but $7 seemed like a lot to me. I also enjoyed the calamari. I had the pasta Bolognese (they had some other name for it), which is one of my favorite kinds of pasta. This did not disappoint. I loved the super wide papardelle noodles (also a favorite!) and the small scoop of cheese (burrata, maybe?) on top. My sister had the mushroom pizza (also with a different name). She enjoyed it as well. I am glad they decided to take us there; it was all very good and in a nice atmosphere as well.

The waitress asked my husband 3 times if he wanted a third beer. Who did she think was driving home and why so pushy? Broccolini - nicely cooked, buried in cheese, a spicy aioli-type topping. Branzino - tasty, overly salted and oiled Cacio e Pepe - bucatini was a bit overcooked. Not enough pepper!

It's a smaller restaurant, but they make efficient use of the space by utilizing the bar and pizza area for seating. Upon getting there, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff. They did not have any tables available, but they would soon. They told us to walk around, and they would call us. They did, and we had a table within 30 minutes. Every bite of food we ate was divine! The limoncello wings were some of the best wings I have had. I usually don't get excited over calamari, but this calamari was fantastic. Our entrees were extremely delicious. What is not pictured is the octopus appetizer that my son got. Holy moly this was one of the best things we ordered!! I highly recommend this place and will be back on my next visit to Detroit!

I just wanted a quick lunch before heading out later and ended up having a great experience. The bar was pretty lively for a Friday afternoon, even before work officially ended, but I was still able to snag a seat. The staff was super friendly, which made it even better. I ordered the vodka chicken parm along with a drink special since happy hour was just starting. The portion was massive, easily one of the biggest chicken parms I've had, and it came with a full serving of spaghetti. For around $25, the value was excellent. Super filling and really well done. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Great Italian food and great value.
