This is one our favourite places to eat! The food is delicious, the staff are very friendly & it's right in our neighbourhood! Angelo usually has some interesting specials in addition to the regular menu items. Some of our favourites include the Carbonara pasta, the Penne Fratelli & his Tiramisu is to die for! There is no price difference between dining inside or dining outside. Dining Inside: No table cloth - so one hopes that the table top is germ free. Dining Outside: Wrought Iron table and chairs in the parking lot. I've dined twice at this restaurant (inside and outside) and the food is good but way overpriced for what they provide. read more

Food is fantastic , prices are reasonable, service is good. The only issue I had were the tables are to close together which makes you feel like you are having dinner with the group next to you , not a comfortable situation. Either make the restaurant larger or eliminate tables. read more

Had dinner there. No problems getting reservations on the same day. Decor is awesome. Wait staff very attentive. Didn't try an appetizer but the Caesar salad was large enough for practically a meal itself. Main course came out hot and delicious. No room for dessert but enjoyed a good cappuccino. The 5 stars are for succulent food a bit pricy though, great presentation and service. Decoration need refreshing. Tables could be a bit larger. We were 2 the table was very small and damaged! The damage did not show once our plate was in place. The one we went to was on Lanoue, Tecumseh. It is not a quiet place, conversations were loud between servers. There is no place that serves better Italian, real Italian food, and not this se places they think they know Italian. Angelo rocks! He knows Italian food!! And the staff, they are the bomb!!! You can't go wrong for aafood awesome Italian food and fantastic service. read more

Good food at a reasonable price for fine dining. Very loud and crowded if you go on a Friday night, no separation from the dining area and the bar. Corrugated metal ceiling in a plaza which doesn't help the reverberation of all the people talking, hard to hear. Wait staff is slow and so is the food coming out. Watch out for the prices of the specials as they are double everything else on the menu. read more

Great food, we were a party of 4 for dinner. The wait staff rushed my order and we were advised that the next party was there. We felt rushed and ruined our night out because of this. A couple of comments, food was excellent....but we had a large group with some stragglers. So we had some drinks while we waited for everyone to arrive. There was 23 of us. We all had dinner then 1 bill was dropped for the entire group around 1000$. Ok, please separate it for us. Never offered coffee deserts " oh btw you have to leave, we have another table book here". This should have been handled very differently by the wait staff! Oh, and the owner didn't care! Second incident, I loved the food so took some friends back. Again my food was great. Our waiter gave all of the specials, "Chilean sea bass" sounds good, really....54$ later. Never ever in my lifetime have I payed 54$ for a piece of fish and some pasta. Terrible! The price should always be given with the specials. Sucked in again, yep, you burned me twice. Won't be back, and I will tell everyone who will listen about my experience. Sorry! read more

It was decent. One of the few dining choices in the tecumseh area worth considering. It's always bothered me, however, why no women are hired to work there. If there are any, they are unseen in the kitchen perhaps. Sexist. read more

I've been taking customers and colleagues to lunch here for the past few weeks now, and I can definitely say it's the best place for a business lunch in Tecumseh! The food is modestly priced for the value and the service is consistently top notch! read more

This small Italian eating spot opened in early December, I think, can't remember exactly but a friend at A Christmas party recommended it. Great advice! The food is simple, hearty Italian fare, that my Italian nonna would make (if I had one ;) The service is fast and friendly. I've only ever had take-out so I can't review the dining-in experience but the space seems casual with lots of mirrors. I highly recommend Fratelli's if you're looking for simple, tasty Italian fare. The only negative I can think of is the price, it's a little pricy for the menu, imho. read more

Had an early dinner on Friday with my girlfriend, it was busy so be sure to make a reservation. We wound up sitting at the bar so we could get in (which was actually nice and casual). It started with the fried and grilled calamari appetizers, personally I enjoyed the fried calamari more. Had the scallops and a side of pasta instead of veggies. :d delicious For dessert we had the Tiramisu and the Tartufo, either one I'd recommend to finish off your meal. The owner sent over a couple shots of Lemoncello to top off the night. So with the atmosphere the hospitality of the owner and staff as well as of course the food I'd give it an A+ I'll be returning regularly read more

Been to Fratelli's numerous times - never disappointed. I've attended in a large party (baby birthday), a small family outing, and also on a date for two. Each time the staff has been extremely accommodating - especially when it comes to Gluten Free options as well! The restaurant itself has a home-like feel to it with Italian flare. It's a bit pricey, but you do get what you paid for as the portions are very large! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

Wish I had read the review by Debbie L. ahead of time. 8 of us, first time, same experience. Big restaurant. Only one wait staff and one busser. Other people who came way after us got food first, no prices on specials ( should have asked), waited 45 min. between apps and mains, etc. When we just about left the food came out. OWNER, tried to mislead us as to the problem, just left us with snide comment on how we wouldn't get it anyway. Will never go back. Too bad. read more

The evening started out OK, a retirement celebration with long time friends. Feature meals were described, no prices given. General menu selection includes average priced entrees ranging from upper teens to mid twenties. Entrees this evening were to be served with asparagus and mashed red potatoes. One of us ordered the scallop feature upon the advice of our waiter. Wait between entrees and salads was a bit long, entrees finally came and there was no asparagus. Apparently they ran out, so substituted brocolini, but did not tell us until serving. I had chosen veal over pasta after seeing the asparagus on another patron's plate. My veal was tough. Service deteriorated to the point where we finally asked another waiter to bring us our bill. When our bill arrived we were shocked to see that the scallops were $44. When I suggested they should disclose the price at the time of order given the disparity between their regular prices and the special, both the waiter and owner blew me off and said that's the way they've always done it. It may be so, but neither I or my friends would go back. This is not a $44 dollar entree restaurant, mediocre at best. read more

Food is okay, but they have the most unprofessional service. I was so disappointed in the way we were treated, and even after trying to talk to the manager politely about our experience, he treated us with such disrespect, that I was actually shocked. I had previously been a regular customer, but now, I will never go back. Lots of places have good food, so when the service is as awful as this, it makes my decision for me. read more

Three girlfriends and I made a 7:30pm reservation for the bar on a Saturday night with a promise to be moved to a table when one opened at 8:00pm. Arrived on time and reminded the host that we wanted a table when one became available. We were told there were no seats available at all but it wouldn't be long. The manager (perhaps owner, too) Angelo chatted with us, apologized (and acknowledged that my very pregnant friend was hungry!) and assured us we would be seated shortly. After 30 minutes of sitting awkwardly near the doorway we assumed we would move right to a table. It took another 20 minutes and we were still only seated at the bar. Meanwhile several walk-ins arrived and were seated at tables before us. We were good natured about the whole thing and sat at the bar anyway, ordering a bottle of wine and requesting menus (not offered) and a table when available (for the 3rd time). 30 minutes later we were still waiting for someone to take our order. It had been an hour and twenty minutes since we arrived (on time) for our reservation. I got up to seek out Angelo again (who had actively been ignoring us since our move to the bar) and very politely explained that a couple of us had eaten there before and really enjoyed the food and experience but that we'd made a 7:30pm reservation - at this point he interrupted me to say 'at the bar' - yes at the bar, with two promises to be moved to a table, to which he responded very abruptly 'well I don't know who told you that but I have no capacity to accommodate that'. Even still, I said, we had a 7:30pm reservation, it is now almost 9:00pm and we haven't even been offered food. There was no remorse, no apology and I felt like I was being dismissed for something I had done wrong. All he said was 'I'll get someone'. It was humiliating, truthfully. I managed to say, again politely, thank you but I think we're just going to go. He clapped his hands together and said 'ok' and walked away. Our full price bill for the wine, one cocktail and one Orangina was placed before us. We left half a bottle of wine on the bar. The only reason I'm giving a 2 star review is because I did have a really good meal here about a year ago. Unfortunately this experience ruined any chance of me going back or ever recommending it to friends or family. Inexcusable service. read more
