I've gotten pizza and salads here a few times. It was all ok. The pizza makes me think the oven isn't hot enough. They are all nice.

If you're looking for a "hole in the wall" pizza place with good food - stop here. We ordered a Stromboli and it was fabulous. Mozzarella was fresh, sauce was good, and cooked to perfection. I have officially added it to my I-10 route to stop while traveling. It's about five miles off the interstate. Cooks and wait staff very friendly too. Will be back. It is a small space and maybe not a five star restaurant, but it was exactly as I expected. Food was great! read more

Cucinella's used to have the best pizza around. But then you started using less dough making the pizza very very thin almost like thin cardboard. Also the crust of the pizza is very wide, leaving less room for toppings. I'm very disappointed. Please go back to your original ways of making your pizza. read more

This locally owned place has great food! I found out that you order at the counter. Having never been here before we looked over the menu and ordered. I had the calzone with onions in addition to the meat. My brother had the spaghetti and meatballs. I was so pleasantly surprised and even though the onions that I thought would be inside the calzone was outside, everything was delicious. The calzone was the best I've ever had! Cucinella's Brick Oven Pizzeria is a great addition to this community and not that bad of a trip off of Interstate 10 if you are traveling along that Highway and want to grab a meal of pizza or something Italian. The service was good and the pizza I found to be a nice hidden gem in northern Florida. Being from New Jersey, I find it hard to find good pizza in a lot of the rest of the country. When I find places like this, I am sure to embrace them. I called in my order since everything is made to order. I ordered lasagna but didn't want the garlic knots. The lady offered to substitute another item like a side salad but I didn't know if I could eat it all. I saw the HOMEMADE brownies when I arrived and she offered one as my side! We have been going to the Perry location for years and have never had a problem. We thought we would try the Madison location and was severely disappointed. Upon walking in, we were not greeted and when my friend told Jonathan that we would be dining in, he ignored us and put down that we were carry-out. He wrote down the wrong name and then tried to tell us that he called out the name 10 times before yelling "Hey! Yeah you!" at us. He did not call out our name, let alone the correct name, and we were also the only customers in the restaurant. I am giving this review 1 star becuase we found hair baked into our pizza crust and Jonathan, the extremely rude server out front, ruined the experience for us. read more

This little, local Pizzeria is my favorite place to eat lunch when I am working in Madison. They have fairly priced 1 and 2 slice lunch options and can/bottled drinks. They have a POS system that can take Apple Pay. The staff are mostly females and all are very friendly and kind. The pizza is handspun and cooked in the brick oven that you can see while waiting for the pizza. The location has been clean every time I have visited and the staff are very helpful (they even gave me an extra silce because they were afraid one of the other slices wasn't big enough! read more

I hurt myself at this place. It was worth it though. On a road trip my girlfriend and I started craving pizza made a little detour. I'm so glad we stopped here and not a chain. First of the garlic knots were covered in garlic and lying in a pool of garlic and olive oil. I'm assuming there was a wizard in the kitchen who enchanted the knots as well because they had a mystical quality of goodness that surely couldn't be attributed to a mere collection of mundane ingredients. Next, the pizza. This thing was the stringiest, meltiest pizza I've ever had. The squishiness of the the thick layer of cheese was of set by the perfectly crispy crust. Once again, there had to be some occult force at work in crafting this cuisine. If you are within a 15 minute drive on a road trip and are craving pizza. You should make the trip. read more
