If you are looking for a touch of "old Las Vegas", this is the place for you. The Neon Museum is an outdoor exhibit with lots of neon signs spanning from some of the first casinos in Vegas to the recently closed Mirage. While they have day time hours, I would highly recommend going during the evening hours for multiple reasons. First is that it can be very hot during the day, and they will actually close if temps get too high per their website. Second, and more importantly, is that the signs are way cooler at night! Neon shines brightest in the dark so why would you ever pay to see it during the day?!

Beautiful!! To see a lot of the old signs lit up again was amazing!!! Last time we were in Vegas the mirage was still here and to see the historic Siegfried & Roy there brought tears to my eyes. I recommend the history tour at sunset , it was very interesting and informative!!! The head from treasure island was great and old milkman sign was so cute!!! Who knows what will happen will these signs eventually are not existing.glad I got to visit. All the staff are amazing. Every dollar goes towards a new sign restoration!!

We pre-booked our 8 PM tickets online for a Wednesday just after sunset, and it was the perfect way to spend the evening. From the start, the staff at the counter was incredibly welcoming, clearly explaining the museum rules with a smile. Walking through the outdoor display was fascinating; reading the history behind all the vintage neon signs provides such a unique perspective on Las Vegas history. It was an all-around great experience.

My friend and I visited the Neon Museum back in February. Evening admission is slightly more expensive than day admission, however a few people encouraged me to visit at night so that we could see the signs lit up. We thought about getting the Las Vegas Go City Pass, but the pass only includes daytime admission. I purchased two tickets online for the night admission with the history tour add on. Somehow there was a glitch and I was charged twice for the admission portion. I didn't realize it until we were on our way to the museum. We were running behind, so I didn't have time to try to resolve the issue. Once we checked in, we were waiting for our tour to start when one of the young ladies at the front desk asked me if I meant to buy 4 tickets. I explained the situation to her and she said she would refund me the $70 since it was a glitch. I appreciated her so much! I was prepared to just take the loss but I'm grateful that I didn't have to. Our tour guide was Steven. He was very knowledgeable and funny. He provided all sorts of information on the history on the various signs. He did a good job of making sure that freeloaders didn't try to jump on the tour. I was surprised at the number of people who tried to tag along as we walked through the Neon Boneyard. I didn't have cash but was able to tip him via Venmo. In addition to the history tour, they also offer a movie tour. On the night that we visited, there was a presentation that was open to all ticket holders. Throughout the museum, they featured prominent Black figures associated with Las Vegas for Black History Month which was cool to see. This was a fun and unique experience and I'm glad we made time on our trip to visit!

Siegfried and Roy statue from the Mirage! Got to see their show twice!

First time going to the NEON Museum. I loved it! We had a great time! We added the Brilliant show and it was so worth it! If you haven't been yet, put it on your list, especially if you like nostalgia!

We came here at dusk, and I think this is probably around the best time to go, because once it gets dark, you can see the neon lights so nicely. I would say this was cool, but is not a must-see. The nice part was getting to see a piece of Las Vegas history, and to soak in some nostalgia. It is a bit expensive for how small the area is. I guess if you really read through all the signs and take pictures, you could spend more time in there, but as others have mentioned, walking through took about 30 minutes. If you peruse the gift shop slowly, you might spend a little more time. When we went, there was a little educational workshop on how neon is produced, so that was interesting. It was probably about a 15-20 minute long presentation. There was a decent amount of neon signs that were lit up, but many others that were not working/not turned on. Staff at the entrance were pretty nice. There was a tour that you can opt for, but you'd probably have to pay extra for it. Parking is free but quite limited, so if it gets full you'll have to drive around to this large empty lot or park in the neighborhood nearby. If you come here, I would HIGHLY recommend coming when it's dark to make it worth your time.

Review for 4/3/26 7:30pm We got tickets for the 7:30pm self guided tour. It was the perfect time of day/evening. It happened to be right around sunset so were were able to see some of it with a bit of daylight and then as the sun went down...the magic happened. Like others have said, the venue is much smaller than I thought it would be. It is easily walkable, flat and accesable for those with mobility concerns. Overall, I am very glad we came to see it and it does not take much time to go through so that does help with parking. The lot is very small but with people coming and going, it was easy to get a spot. When we were done, we asked about the other location next to the parking lot and found out it was a special add on. We decided to go for it since it was starting a few minutes after our tour was done. I think it was worth the extra $17. The show is in another bone yard of signs that do not light up but an artist created a light show, with music that creates a unique experience. It was fun and a nice way to end the evening. On a different note...I was very impressed with the bougie restroom...not your typical Pota Potty...and yes I took a video. The facilites are located in a white trailer in the parking lot...It was lovely! Yes there is a fire place in the restroom! It was very clean and smelled lovely. It is not handicap accesable tho. Overall, I think the Neon Museum is a nice way to spend the evening and given the price of most things in Vegas, it is fair.

I recommend visiting Neon Museum in the evening hours, at sunset preferably. I'm sure it's impressive during the daylight hours as well, but these signs, and Las Vegas in general, were meant to be appreciated after the sun's gone down. Each sign is accompanied by a plaque noting historical details. You can sign up for a guide, for an additional fee. I thought I got a good education from the plaques but passed by a small group with a guide and the guide was very into his presentation and was spitting much knowledge. So I can see how you might get even more out of the experience with someone like that leading the way. The old hotel/casino signs are fun to look at and are an important part of the town's history. I'm glad I made a point of checking this out on my recent visit.

A must see in Vegas is the Neon Museum, just as the sun is going down. Of course, the evening ticket is more expensive but the experience is everything. I love the photos at this of day. We actually got this hot tip from someone else and we are so glad we listened. I purchased our tickets the night before. I would recommend doing the same. There is a audio tour you can do. There's also some sort of pop ups sometimes. There was someone talking about the glass when we were there. I loved seeing the juxtaposition of the old photos showing their original spots and their current state. My faves were the skull from Treasure Island and the Red Barn martini glass. The little duckling was also adorable! It was truly stunning!

We were so glad we decided to go off strip to visit the Neon Museum. It was definitely something unique and pretty cool to see so much history. We visited at night so we could see the working signs lit up and I'm glad we did. While we were there, there were some tours taking place so people visiting could hear the history of the signs. There were also podiums with information about some of the signs and their histories.

Walking in we were pleasantly greeted with big smiles. We were assisted rather quickly told all of our options, and had very friendly service! We opted for the choice of the guided tour. Wait time for tour: our wait was approximately 10 minutes, it was freezing out we sat in the lobby. The guide quickly came and delivered a hearing device and ear buds to use/keep/trash. Loved the sanitary factor that they were not reused. A quick explanation that the tour was going to be roughly 45 minutes long was given. The guide was very friendly! During the tour we were given lots of rich history regarding Vegas, the signs, the Strip. We loved the historical information. It was quite informative, informative enough to be educational!!! The hours are perfectly designed for this type of business!! It was gorgeous seeing the signs all lit up at night!! Do not skip the tour!!? Sadly my daughter was freezing and we left a few minutes before the tour ended, our day started at 4 am and we were exhausted! All the staff were veryyyyy kind and friendly! We turned our equipment in and went on our way. We appreciated security making rounds and watching over the parking lot. Will I return/ recommend this business? Absolutely and already have!

Came here after dinner for date night to see what the fuss was about. We were surprised a lot of the signs aren't lit up but they did have several that were on. The walkway through the short museum outside is accessible and easy to navigate. I think this is more popular for taking professional photos than just walking around

Highly recommend a visit and a guided tour of the Neon Museum. We took the 6:30pm guided tour and loved learning about the Las Vegas history behind some of the Neon signs that the Museum Foundation saves and restores. Each neon on display also has a small placard, so one can enjoy without a tour. The museum building itself is the historical La Concha structure. Highly recommend a visit at twighlight and pair it with a visit to nearby Fremont Street Experience. Vegas, baby!

My mom would like to do this tour but she uses a cane, is the ground level or uneven?

Most of the signs on display are on gravel.

    Do they offer locals discounts?

Nevada residents get $5 off fir the combo Boneyard and the North Gallery.

On the website it states no backpacks or bags allowed, does this apply to a purse, if so what size is acceptable?

I had a small purse, around 5 inches by 8 inches, and did not have any issues.

How m u ch are the tickets?

We paid $28 each for guided tour. Well worth it for history buffs. We didn't do the boneyard. Just the night Brilliant guided tour.

What is the price for tickets?

Guided tour is $28 where general admission i believe was $20.00. Take the guided tour, you’ll hear some great stories. Brilliant was a separate fee. I think $28.00.

    Best time to go?

At sunset or shortly after. Seeing the lights lit up ads a ton to the experience

    Where do we park?

The museum has a parking lot across the street from the museum entrance.

Could we park in the lot and go get dinner before the tour, or do they require you to go straight in?

Yes just let the guard near the gate know!

    Is this place child friendly?

There were multiple kids on our tour, but all were 6+ years old. However, we took a late night tour so in that aspect it's not child friendly. There are also large pieces of neon and glass on the ground, the only barrier being a single piece of… Read more

    Are dogs allowed?

I believe that they allow only service animals.

I bought tickets for the wrong day ..I've been trying to get someone to call me for 2 days...what are my options?

I think they have an email address on their site. I'd possible you could go in person and try to change.

I purchased my tickets online. Do I need to print or can they scan from my phone?

I just pulled up the e-tickets via the email on my phone. They have a barcode that can be scanned.

There is an option online for "museum for all" tickets online. They are $3. Does anyone know what this if for? Do I need this if getting the general admission tickets?

I don't know the answer to that question, but I was just there end of August and that wasn't an option at that time. I would contact them directly and inquire about it.

If i purchase the Brilliant deal is the General Admission included ? Or will need to purchase it separately?

They are separate admission. I recommend GA.

Is the Tim Burton GENERAL EXHIBIT better at night or daytime?

Definitely at night so you can see the lights. It's really beautiful!

Why are conventional cameras prohibited, but cell phone cameras allowed? I don't see the logic; what am I missing?

Hello! Too many people, including large name brands, were staging photoshoots during regular business hours. In addition, guests have been selling stock photos and generally using images for commercial purposes without prior authorization from The… Read more

How long after sunset do the working signs light up?

They keep the lights on all the time but are more visible after dark.

This museum need ticket?? Or not? And how much?

Yes, you need to purchase a ticket. You can buy one on their website or in person when you get there. Price varies depending on what you want (general admission or tour). Starts around $22 and up. Check their website :)

Hello can I buy tickets on the spot or do I have purchase them online?

Get them online because there is a slight discount but you can get them right there

The artwork itself has a lot of similar concepts as to many TeamLabs that I've been to in Japan. Near the end was where much of the BTS artwork was at. There was also a specific room that was playing a few songs from their album at the time. This was one of my favorite rooms as I found a few songs that I liked; noteworthy that I did not listen to their album at all before coming here. Close to the end, there was also a cafe. For the ticket type we purchased, this was included in the experience. There were non-caffeinated options so that was nice. The strawberry drink was on the sweeter side. There were some light effects associated with the drinks; unfortunately they forgot to turn it on right away and it was also off center. There's also a neat little gift shop at the end. There was a lot of artwork related items and even BTS items at the time. I found a deck of cards with the artwork on it and knew I needed to grab one for a friend. American Express was accepted here. There is a free parking lot attached and as many will point out this is not in a great part of town so if you are visiting during the night it is best to be driven in and out versus walking in and out. They do not allow photography inside so I only have a few pictures from the beginning of the visit, but I would definitely recommend to anyone because it is a really fun experience and it is also very unique. So I took my nephew. He's a little older, but he did like it. It was creepy, but cool some of the spots. A lot of the spiders were hiding. The girl said she thinks it's because the lights are bugging them. So I get it honestly they had a lot of bugs not a lot but for Vegas museum it's good. You know what I'm saying. Next to the dinosaur the head of African I think they were roaches to be honest with you. I took a video of them. N the hissing bugs so gross, I would hate to come across them. The dinosaurs are cool when you push the button to make the sound some little kids do you get scared so be aware. Downstairs there's more artifacts. Creepy downstairs kinda dark n ominous

Quick search on Yelp & Google, and knew this was gonna be THE spot. With down time finally in our favor, we stopped by on a Monday afternoon. Took the elevator up and paid at the register. I asked if cash and/ or card are accepted, but it's card only. There are complimentary lockers available before walking into the museum. Watch the quick 2 minute video and away you go. Next to every display or immersive exhibit, you can read what is happening. And why you are experiencing this special effect. It's a great flow of exhibits. And if one particular area is crowded, you can continue on exploring. And return back to the previous one. Staff is so friendly with photo opportunity suggestions. * Restrooms are located near the slot machine/ pole dance area! There are WARNING signs if you have sensitivity to flashing/ strobing lights. Some rooms can be a bit darker while throughout the museum is well lit. The optical illusion to some of the exhibits can cause dizziness. Even the graphic geometric patterns you'll see throughout. Very budget friendly. And from a previous review I read on Yelp, you can also find discounts directly on their website. You'll exit at the gift sho

My sister and I had a blast exploring the exhibits--and thanks to the super helpful staff, we snapped some seriously cool photos along the way. Some of the illusions still have me scratching my head, and I love that. Hands down, this was one of the most fun and fascinating museums I've ever visited. Highly recommend!

There are lots of interactive exhibits, old equipment, videos, and real historical artifacts. Learning about the atomic testing era and seeing how close the tests were to Vegas was fascinating. The museum is clean, well organized, and easy to explore at your own pace. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable too. The only downside is the ticket price felt expensive -- I honestly wish they charged a little less so that everyone could afford to experience and learn from this unique museum. Still, it's a very educational and worthwhile visit if you enjoy history, science, or museums.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how well the exhibits were set up and how much history is packed into one place. The museum does an excellent job explaining the science and history behind nuclear testing and the Manhattan Project in a way that was engaging for adults and older kids alike. We especially enjoyed seeing the historical artifacts, models, and detailed displays that brought such an important part of American history to life. The museum was clean, well organized, and easy to walk through at our own pace, and there were plenty of interesting things to see that sparked conversations among all of us. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we even spent extra time exploring the exhibits because there was so much to take in. Overall it was a fun, educational outing, and we definitely recommend it if you're looking for something a little different to do in Las Vegas. A great mix of science, history, and fascinating facts that left us all talking about what we learned long after we left!

It's at the Linq promenade and we were able to park at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino (first 3 hrs free for NV locals). It was a short walk into the promenade and we were able to successfully locate the museum. Upon entrance you are greeted by an employee. You are then notified that you have to sign a waiver. Once the waiver is signed, you're able to go into the experience. This museum is so much fun! I really enjoyed it. The music was very catchy. The props and displays were so cute! They had many different set ups that you can take a selfie/picture with. I love taking pictures, so this was a perfect place for me! It wasn't so busy when we went so we didn't really have to wait to take a picture. It is kind of a small experience. Besides that, I think it was worth going. 5/5 stars, I will definitely enjoy going again.

If you like taking pictures and just take this experience for what it is , you'll enjoy it . We paid around $24 with a Groupon. We spent over an hour each taking turns taking pictures. Some of the gags are dirty and as many people use them but whatever . We had fun! We wouldn't do it again .. unless the selfie drops changed as you don't really need to do it more than once. I'd suggest looking at the vids or their insta so you get an idea of how to create the visual illusion. Note - no selfie sticks or ring lights provided . Your friends take your pictures. I believe you can rent a selfie stick for 6-9 bucks , not sure.
