Great experience. Our salesperson, Oyuki, was amazing. The entire purchase process was clear with zero hassle. The dealership, as well as the staff were transparent from start to finish. Would highly recommend read more

My son got a bike there the sales person (Esteban) was great. Very patient and helpful. We hit a snag in the purchasing side of things (totally our fault, not a dealership issue). The manager Mr. Botello stepped out of his office to assist. He absolutely went above and beyond. Overall our experience went above and exceed expectations. Thank you to all the Fred Cummings team. Really well done making a life long customer! read more

I bought my motorcycle here and encourage every local motorcycle enthusiasts to check this store and buy from here . It may seem this place is little more expensive than LA area but at the end this is cheaper in long run until you know everything about bike fixing part etc . People like me who is not I prefer local dealing but seriously try this place first before going out .exceptional customer service before or after purchase . Eli at maintenance is super duper helpful so is everyone. read more

What an unpleasant interaction, to say the least. I spoke with the "sales manager" John, and let's just say he couldn't have cared less about making a sale or how he treated potential customers. I was ready to buy as soon as I found a good deal on the bike I was looking for, and they had exactly that, which makes the experience all the more disappointing. As a matter of principle, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I tried to make a deal with them on a unit they don't have but could get. I was texting with the sales representative Matt I can say he was professional however can't say the same about the manager John. He likes to laugh at people when he does not like the offer he gets. 0 attempt at trying to earn business they should reconsider/retrain people like that really unprofessional I would avoid this place read more

Contacted them about a 2025 rebel dct, they didn't have the exact model in store, and weren't willing to have it ordered in. They then proceeded to give me almost the same price for the manual model as another dealership did for the dct model. Then doubted me that they gave me that quote, and when I sent him the bill of sale with the quote no response. I went ahead and sent him another bill of sale from said dealership for even lower then the their price for the dct model and now that email was blocked for some reason. I felt disrespected and won't be giving them my business and I was going to pay for the motorcycle in full. I went in for a new ninja 400 and they told me the bank wanted 2,500 down on a 6k bike, mind you I have good credit and got a loan for 5k from another bank right after they told me this so they must work with horrible banks on financing. IF YOUR NOT BUYING IT FOR FULL AMOUNT taxes included Don't expect to get a loan from this place. They said It's a "luxury" to own a motorcycle And you would need awesome credit Even though my score is close to 700 What a waste of time and a credit check. read more

I drive to Bakersfield because I can not stand Clawson but wanted a Can Am. I went in and tent on getting the RYKER sport. I test drove it, and immediately did not like it. my friends husband encouraged me to test drive the spider because that's what they had and also "just to know the difference".... I was on it 10 seconds before I decided I wanted it. I appreciated that they let me test drive it. I appreciated that they did a ride along and I was allowed to follow them because I am not familiar with Bakersfield and it has a lot of one-way streets. I believe it was the finance guy that stopped what he was doing and went with me and guided me. Harley was my saleswoman. She was great. I did a little negotiating and got a few dollars off. I ended up getting a brand new Can-Am Spyder. And a very expensive (free) T-shirt. :) I love my spider it's a toy it's fun. I believe that when you're buying something so expensive, you should be able to test drive it and Clawson refused to let me test drive it unless I had my motorcycle license and we all know that for a three wheeler you do not need a motorcycle license, they offered to let me drive it in their back area, which I could go faster than 20 miles an hour which was ridiculous so I opted to drive to Bakersfield and had a great experience. read more

Racists to start with. That's how I felt, they treated me like I wasn't going to buy anything. To test drive a motorcycle they basically told me that they needed to have all paperwork ready to buy. read more

Well, I'll definitely be back to Fred Cummings Motorsports, even though it's about a 5 hour round-trip from my home. Tommy was an excellent salesman. He quoted me an out the door price for my ATV over the phone, and never gave me any sort of runaround. I called them about a month and a half ahead of the purchase in order to lock down the ATV since it was a new model in pre-release. Tommy went out of his way to place my order with the manufacturer and get my brand new ATV to their store as soon as possible. There was never a moment where I was concerned about my purchase. The entire ordeal went as smooth as possible. I couldn't have asked for a better dealer. A+! read more

Was heading out on a trip and got an oil change day before I headed out. (Yes just an oil change) said I needed a new battery so I bought one. They said it would be ready at 5:00. Showed up and no one put a battery on a charger so I couldn't take it home. Next day they delivered it to my house...sumped and leaking gas, they definitely dropped my bike or ran into something. Left side was scratched. Bike wouldn't even start. Missed my trip. They picked it up the next day and apparently the manager did all the service work. 10 dudes standing around and no one put the battery on the charger AND COULDNT do an oil change? I've taken 3 bikes to them in the last 10 years and there's always been an issue. Literally go anywhere else. read more

From sales to purchase I have had a positive experience with this dealer. Honorable mention includes Esteban M in sales, Service Manager Dennis, and Sales Manager John. Friendly and helpful staff. I didn't try to negotiate because of supply issues during Covid, there's not much they can do. This review is for Service. Bought a new 2021 Sea Doo Wake Pro 230 I bought at another dealer. Only because supply and demand at the time is crazy!! Only used it a few times and the Check engine light came on. Since I live in Bako called FCMS for service. Talked to boys in back very polite and made app. Waited a week not too bad. Brought it in they found the problem cleared the light and fixed the small problem!! also Re glued a rubber gasket for seat when I went too pick up. The complete experience was what you like too see!! Great job service Dept! Hope to get a Spark for my wife later in spring!! Hope there back in stock!! Way to Fred Cummings!! read more

Called and spoke with the sales manager attempting to purchase one of their vehicles that is in inventory. I purchased the same vehicle from another dealer and was looking to get a second for my property. The first dealer only had 1 so I called here to see if they could match the deal, if they could I was ready to buy. I spoke to the sales manager on the phone and threw email sending him the receipt for the first one. He assured me he would return my email with answer to if he could match the deal, well, that was 3 days ago and no response. If he's the "sales manager" they need a new one. I have been in sales for over 20 years and can tell you people dont want to be forgotten about when they have cash in hand ready to buy, they find someone else who appreciates a sale and pays attention to them. I have my new machine but it wasn't purchased here since they didnt care enough to even quote me a price after speaking 3 times. read more

These guys made buying a bike pretty easy! Tommie was my salesman and bought a used F6B gold wing. It was in great shape but had a sold sign in it because previous owner wasn't happy with his can-am new purchase. I stuck around for a while, during which they negotiated with the previous owner who turned it in because he was getting too old to hold the bike up. These guys reminded him of this and he gave up trying to get it back. A sweet ride I was happy to purchase. Now onto the fun! read more

I do not recommend this place if you are a woman biker. They act as if a woman could never possibly understand their explanations. They repeatedly requested to speak to my husband about his bike after I repeatedly told them it was mine. Here is my story. I went to this place to buy a bike because my husband was gifting to me for our anniversary. I wanted the Kawasaki Ninja 400. We had money in hand. The salesperson Tommy said he did not have one so he would look for one. By the way, he was directing all conversation to my husband. A week passes by and no call. I follow up at 10am on a Tuesday. He says there are no Ninja 400s available since 2021 is coming out and just wait to buy that. BTW their sticker price was $1000 plus add'l fees above other places that I checked. So I called 2 other dealerships showing they had in stock...2 hrs away. By 5 pm I had a new bike in my garage for $2000 less than quoted at Fred Cummings. Unfortunately, I decided to use their service dept to purchase parts and lower the bike. They forgot to order the kickstand with my kit. I was promised a $50 discount for having them get parts plus installtion. Did not receive that. There is much more but short story is the shenanigans with kickstand is infuriating along with the way they, mainly Robert, spoke to me as if I was a complete idiot for the past 10 weeks. Aren't we past this kind of behavior yet towards women?! read more

I spoke to Tommy, the salesrep over the phone, drove all the way to Bakersfield from L.A. for a test drive. Friendly service and professional. I have been in and out of Fred Cummings for years. Many a year ago I bought 2 Honda quad runners. As of recent I have wanted to get a Suzuki DR650, so my bud Jer and I had been lurking about the place looking at them. We would always run into Ron the sales fellow, and he was super friendly and very knowledgeable with the products he sells. About 3 weeks ago Jeromy and I went in and took the plunge. We both waked away with brand new DR650's, sold to us by Ron. They gave us a great deal on the bikes, and the process was painless. Everybody there was super nice. I recently dropped by to introduce another friend that wants a bike to Ron and I bought a t-shirt for my wife. The parts fellow was very friendly and helpful. Every time I have been to Fred Cummings Motorsports the experience has been positive. I would recommend. read more

Customer service sucks, ordered rims and tires. Didn't even mount them. They delivered them caused they screwed up. Gave me the wrong lug nuts, then told me I'd have to pay for the correct ones. What a joke these guys are. They gave me the wrong lugs and I'm suppose to pay for the right ones. I don't think so. Never going there again read more

So I inquire on a specific motorcycle that they have for sale and a salesman calls me to tell me that it's still available. I then jump in my car for a 90 minute drive to see the bike and when I get there I'm told that the bike sold an hour earlier. A call or text message to tell me that the bike is no longer available is simply common courtesy and would have allowed me to turn around and not waste time and gas but I guess that's too much to ask of this dealership. They lost a customer. read more

Just a quick note to thanks the team at Cummings Motorsports for the recent service on my Kawasaki Mule. I needed the basic 20 hour service as well as a couple of recall items taken care of. Robert Sanchez was very helpful in ordering the recall parts and allowing for a friend to drop the vehicle off and then actually hold onto it for 2 weeks until I could make my way back into town to pick it up. Dennis was very attentive to some wiring problems with my winch control/switch. All in all great service and willingness to help the customer. read more

Just picked my Bonneville up from it's 20K service. It runs better than it ever has. I'm afraid I didn't get either the service writer or technicians name. They certainly deserve recognition. The service writer ordered all the parts and didn't have me bring the bike in until they were all on hand. At every stage of the process I was kept informed and it happened exactly as promised. When I picked the bike up every step of the work was explained to me in detail. One of two recalls had been performed on the bike before I moved to the Bakersfield area but hadn't been documented. The service writer called the original selling dealer to ask them to note the service so the records for the bike would be complete. I can't recommend Fred Cummings service department enough. read more

Does very shady business practices. Says one thing and doesn't do it and is extremely dishonest. They first low balled me on my trade in. Which was well over what they quoted and then they claim to run my credit. However, I am a person who regularly monitors my credit and they never even attempted. Basically just closed the book on me before even working with me. Dishonest, and bad business practices. Would not get my business or even suggest anyone here. read more

For Triumph parts and service, go out of town. Have called 6 or 7 different times for parts now and am consistently either dropped a bunch before getting connected, quoted a price much much higher than other shops in the area, or they cannot tell me what year parts will fit my motorcycle. I had to call a shop in LA to find this last bit out which they were able to pull up in 5 min or less. The people I have spoken with seem nice enough...all I can think is that management is very poor at competing locally on Triumph parts and is obviously relying on archaic parts systems to save a penny if they cannot tell which years a part fits. This could all be completely different with other makes of motorcycle but for Triumph, this place is junk. Extremely disappointed. read more
