Dom was helpful as well and even picked me up from the airport. I also left the bike here for more than a few months while I had Bryce build it for racing. Not only was he patient with me and didn't complain about me leaving it there for months on end, he also built a killer bike for the track. Took my Polaris 570 sportsman in to be serviced and have the battery replaced. The dash was flashing and the vehicle did not hold a charge. Over $1500 later, they replaced the dash assembly and the brake pressure switch. They stated they checked the voltage regulator and stator assembly and they were both good. I road it briefly two times within their warranty period of 30 days before it gave out on me. The voltage was reading over 15 V while at idle and over 16 V while running. Now it runs for a few minutes before it dies. In short, I feel the mechanics did a subpar job because the machine clearly had a faulty voltage regulator, which needed to be replaced. Not gonna waste any more money with these guys for a diagnostic, questionable service, and a lousy warranty. read more

10/10 RECOMMEND I got a flat tire on the 5 just out of town a little over an hour before closing on a Saturday, I called to see if they had the tire in stock and could change it for me (I'm hundreds of miles from home). Whether it's at the service desk, sales floor or at the counter. They actually make it hard to spend money there. 3. Maybe the worst service I have ever had - took them over five, that's FIVE, months to repair my Polaris Ranger - which had started drinking oil after only a couple hundred hours of light use. Over those five months I made maybe 10 phone call to the service department. Every time they were busy and all but twice failed to ever return the phone call. Reasons for the long repair time ranged from Covid, to family trouble in Mexico to inability to get parts from Polaris. My advice - don't buy a Polaris, they are fragile and parts apparently hard to get. Don't expect Valley Cycle to care. read more

Great customer service and down to earth staff. We recently bought 2 RZR's from Valley after calling dealers all over California because even though we only spoke over the phone right off the bat they were the most helpful and willing to work with us in order to make a deal. Seems like a lot of the other dealers almost didn't care to make a sale. Zane in sales helped both my brother and I get exactly what we wanted and at a better price than anywhere else. Not only that but you would hardly even know he's a sales guy and by that I mean he never tried to sell me some garbage I didn't want or up sell anything to me. He knew what I wanted and just made it happen. We drove almost 3 hours past lots of other dealers just to give these guys our business. Not sure why they don't have a higher rating but I won't pass these guys up without first stopping by or giving them a call. My wife and I walked into this place today to look at ATVS. Heading into the entrance we almost turned back to the car due to the stench of raw sewage, but thought by going in we'd escape the stifling odor. Once inside a female receptionists at staring at her computer. The place looked nearly empty. No one ever said a word to us or acknowledged us. They had one ATV (a Yamaha Grizzly) and that was it. The store looked almost like they were going out of business. Stood there for about 5 minutes while two salesmen talked to each other and never got a "hey folks we'll be right with ya" or anything. As we were headed out of the store, I asked the receptionist where all the ATVs were and she said "that's all we've got. We'll have more inventory next month". Save yourself some time do not shop here. They don't seem to care about customers or keeping the store stocked. read more

purchased a 2020 Polaris outlaw 110 had some issues with quad. went to valley cycle and they have horrible service dept. be smart and spend your money elsewhere if you want good customer service. I took my quad in without being broken and got it back with my front plastic broken I seriously would've fixed it my self but Julian and Rafael kept calling me a liar and that's why I was pissed because I know it was not broken when I took it in. Both guys that work in the service department couldn't get their story straight. I have the pictures of the quad when I took it in and when it left I'll post them on yelp so you guys can see them. I give Valley cycle center a negative five star review. I purchased a KTM motorcycle there short time ago. I needed to get it serviced and their service department tried to charge me double what I was originally quoted. And then tried to charge me five times too much for a basic service in the driveway. I have reached out to their headquarters in Murrieta California and in Amherst Ohio regarding this matter. Their management refuses to step up and deal with these disreputable dealer here in Bakersfield california. I just received another phone call from their headquarters in Murrieta california, and they are refusing to step up and do anything in this issue. I have forwarded all of this to the better Business bureau, and the attorney general of california, and the governor of california. I had a terrible experience at this location. I went in to purchase some accessories and found the staff to be very unfriendly and I heard a racial slur. I cannot confirm it came from an employee, but nobody in the business said anything. This makes me think this behavior is tolerated by the culture of the business. I go into Valley Cycle a few times a year, usually to buy oil or a small part for my bike. The parts guys are plenty helpful, but of all the times I've gone in and looked around, a salesman has even acknowledged me maybe twice. I spent some time selling bikes myself, and was always surprised by this. Taylor was waiting at the door, checked in with us when we came in, let us browse, then checked back in in with us. While we were not currently in the market for a bike, it was refreshing to get some customer service from a sales person here. I might actually consider going back when I'm looking for a bike now, something I most likely wouldn't have said a day ago. Julian Quintero in service is quick to read and process your service request. It does not read it thoroughly or pay attention to the year to make the model or anything. Then she confirmed your appointment and doesn't get back to you. Even though you have multiple questions takes weeks at a time to get her to even email you back. I thought Clawson Motorsports was bad in Fresno. Till I dealt with Valley cycle. The bad thing is I was also coming to look at buying two new quads for kids. They lost my business. read more

I was traveling through Bakersfield and dropped my 2002 Harley Davidson Road King to have the oil changed I traveled from Bakersfield California to Fayetteville Arkansas discovered that they shorted me 2 quarts of oil and even with overwhelming evidence to prove it they choose not to repair it this is the first of many posts to come all over the internet and blast social media I would stay away from this dealership for any repairs. I'd give them a zero if the Yelp system allowed it. I purchased a used motorcycle a couple years ago, and the first thing I did was take it to them for a once over, to give it a clean bill of health. They told me I needed to have my rear brakes rebuilt, which it didn't need, but I trusted their opinion. Big mistake. I've dropped more than two grand there, and every time I do, there's something new wrong with the bike, despite that I initially asked them to give it a thorough inspection. When I left their shop from replacing the motor mounts, they informed me the throttle was now sticking and not self-releasing. That was a new one. Then the main fuel line went out, ON THE WAY HOME FROM HAVING THEM FIX THE THROTTLE. Took the bike in on 4/21 for the fuel line. They took three weeks to call me to tell me the fuel pump needed to be replaced, to the tune of $1600. I asked them to have the sales department arrange to purchase the bike, as I'd discussed it with them before, at a very low purchase price. They took another two weeks to tell me the sales department wasn't going to buy the bike. I made arrangements to get the bike home - I wish I could attach a picture of the bike - it's covered in dirt, having not been properly stored for more than a month. I contacted the BAR, but there's nothing provable in how my motorcycle was handled... I was told that if complaints stacked up, there'd be a full investigation. Avoid Valley Cycle at all costs. I'm in the market for a new motorcycle that can be maintained at a different dealership. These people aren't honest. read more

Service dept is extremely overpriced. Tune up in Los Angeles would cost me 130-150, Valley charged me about 180. Now I need a new front tire but they want to charge me $160 just for labor! (Fred C will do it for $40 labor, Cycle Gear only charges $25 if the wheel is removed). I also need a new belt - Valley wants $180 for labor! Since I cannot afford this I have to replace the belt myself via "YouTube University" and I really don't want to do that considering the massive risk. Valley is so expensive my only other option is to load my Zuma on a truck and take it to a better shop in LA or NoHo.
