Love coming here for shows! Every seat is a great seat but center orchestra section is the best! This time we were here for the Sixties Mania concert and while it was a great show, the sound wasn't dialed in very good. Huge difference from all the other shows/concerts we've been to here. Especially compared to the 2 different Post Modern Jukebox concerts we've seen here. The staff is very nice, eager to help. The bartenders definitely need some mixing lessons! My $19 double dirty martini was heavily loaded with the olive juice and vermouth and I couldn't taste the vodka at all! Served in a very small cup. My husband's $19 double margarita was ALL MIXER!! Also for a double? Was served in a small cup If you're going to offer a bar? And charge such high prices? At least make sure what you're putting out is excellent! A truly disappointing drink experience! Other than that I highly recommend attending shows here!

"There's no business like show business, like no business I know! Everything about is appealing"...and so on... Never disappoints! I love this venue!!! My second time here! First time was to see the band Chicago & last night to see "The Book of Mormon." Hysterical!!!! The choreography, singing and acting was top notch! This venue is very clean inside with high ceilings and wide stair cases taking you to the mezzanine & balcony. The staff are super friendly from the minute you go through security, enter the lobby and then guide you to your seat. This theater seats 1800 people with easy access to your seats. *No one has to get up to allow other patrons to get to their seats. However, manners are well received when someone actually says "excuse me," when someone scurries by you to get to their seat:) *Many Ushers work as volunteers and get the perk to see the performances for free:) ~Works for me! ~ They have a Snack Bar in the lobby but no drinks or food are allowed inside the theater...*yeah, some people don't follow this rule...just sayin' *Parking is available in the large structure for a fee. It's a nightmare getting out and can take a while so you might want to linger before you leave. *There are some parking spots on Thousand Oaks Blvd - just read the signs. Check out their website to see what shows are coming for 2025!

People were super polite. The parking is NO cash... have your card ready for a quick tap. Although there were to attendants at the parking garage entrance ... it is slow. So in order to not be late to your event... plan to get there at least 30-45 minutes early. Although we got there before the show... due to the traffic with the entrance... we were late. The venue had us wait u til appropriately time to go in. This is to protect interrupting the play. They do sell snacks. There is security and staff will check your purse.

I had a great night seeing Montell Jordan and Ginuwine perform their classics! I feel the seats were comfy. The bathrooms were cleaned well and the entire facility look well managed for the size.

Nice theater for the smaller shows. My partner and I watched Pretty Woman the musical here. We got a buy one, get one 50% off tickets from Ticketmaster. Theater is not as nice as Pantages, but decent. Staff and ushers were friendly. We got a double shot Tito's vodka soda, Jameson and ginger ale, and a bag of Doritos for $31 not including tip. Bathrooms were decent. Parking was $15 and we found a great parking space near the walkway entrance to the theater by arriving an hour early. Not sure if this was allowed, but balcony had only around 30-40 guests so we moved to closer seats

What a great venue! We had some amazing seats for Los Lonely Boys last night and the atmosphere and accommodations were top notch! The staff were All so friendly and welcoming, the Bars on both Floors made for convenient Cocktails. Parking was a breeze.

My first time to watch a concert here. I love that there were so many parking spaces. It's clean and organized. Even if you are seated at the back, you can still see the stage. The parking was inexpensive. There are restaurants around the area if you want to eat after the concert.

What a huge an beautiful theatre we went to to see Anastasia! We had seats pretty high up on the mezzanine but I thought the seats were roomy which I appreciated. Loved the snack and beverage bar area beforehand too. The ushers were sooo nice. Can't wait to go back.

If I attend a concert here is there a vaccine mandate and or negative COVID test required?

When I went in October 2022 you did not need either.

There's no free street parking nearby, so you'll most likely have to pay $16 to park in the lot there. You're not allowed to bring in food or drinks because they sell those items inside, and they also probably don't want you bringing in anything that isn't permitted. They had plenty of staff working the event, from security guards to ushers, helping people find their seats. As for the ambience, the place was well-decorated throughout the inside it was actually really nice. I would definitely recommend it if there's a show you want to see and it's being held at the Civic Arts Plaza. Don't hesitate to buy those tickets just be aware that you'll probably have to pay for parking.

The theatre was smaller than I expected, but still fit so many people. Lighting and sound are great. Bar service is easy too, there were 3 different bars to choose from so we were able to head to the ones with the shortest lines. Drinks are a bit pricey though. Wonderful show, so much fun!!!! It was so sweet to have her alternate at times from laying her head on Dear Hubby's shoulder and then mine. Sometimes she would sit up tall and lean forward at certain times in the show. After, she said, "I want to stay until the next one", thinking that the cast would be doing a second show right away the same day. She doesn't yet realize how much energy and effort goes into a performance like this, but I loved the positive reaction. The theater, while small scale and local, nonetheless does a great job of putting on entertainment which captivates their audiences. It's a blessing to have this venue close to home, away from the hassles and expense of going into L.A. Ticket prices are reasonable, parking is free, and the staff is friendly. The large cast managed to sing, dance, and act their way through a beloved classic musical on a smallish stage and made it work. Kudos to the visual technology that makes set decoration a new type of visual art. We're looking forward to seeing "Footloose" at the Arts Center soon.

The Kavli Theatre is a modern structure that is even more beautiful @ night. Staff is friendly and VERY helpful. Auditorium is a good size, seating about 1800 people. Well spaced, as it wasn't difficult to pass through the rows. I didn't kick or knock knees with anyone to get to our seats.
