I have never had such a frustrating experience with an insurance company…read more I called Freeway Insurance simply to change my deductible because my auto loan company notified me that my coverage was considered deficient and I was at risk of being force-placed into an additional $255 insurance policy. What should have been a simple request turned into a nightmare. I was hung up on SIX different times while trying to get assistance. When I originally called to update my policy after trading in my car, I was told I had to cancel my existing policy and start an entirely new one. This resulted in me having to pay an additional $750 just to keep coverage in place, on top of my regular payment that was due only two weeks later. The process and costs were never clearly explained. To make matters worse, I received notices in the mail stating that my policy was missing required vehicle photos. However, when I contacted customer service, they could clearly see that the photos had already been submitted and simply uploaded them to my policy themselves. So why was I being threatened with issues over documents they already had? The lack of communication, repeated disconnections, conflicting information, and overall disorganization caused unnecessary stress and wasted hours of my time. Insurance is supposed to provide peace of mind. Instead, dealing with Freeway Insurance has been one of the most aggravating customer service experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend Freeway Insurance based on my experience.

They provide AAA products information, services enrollment, insurance purchase and assistance, tourism services, some DMV services, and notary service. So they really do provide a lot in one location, but of course you need to be a AAA member. The line can get long at times, so bring a book or something to do and expect to wait. However, the lines do move quickly and the staff that work at the main counter are friendly and helpful. In terms of DMV services, which are very popular, they can't do everything, but for sure you can pay for new tags (registration renewals), but be sure to have had your car smog checked first if required. They can also give insurance quotes and explain services that sometimes get lost in translation over the phone for those who want more personalized in-person guidance and help. Good to compare shop for insurance products to find good value since it's getting harder to get reasonably priced insurance coverage as many insurance firms have left CA. This location is open Monday to Friday from 9-6 and Saturday from 9-5 which are pretty generous hours, especially that it's open on Saturday for many who work M-F. Overall, it's a convenient and efficient service center although sometimes the staff can be kind of stressed out so they may not be as friendly, but give them some grace and experience kindness in return too.

I should have took heed when I went by this office and she was only opened by appointment only and there was not a lot of people knocking down the door to get insurance through this office/company. Let me Explain what happened. I was off my game this day back in September 2013 and forgot I had an older vechle and signed up for a high ass :fujll coverage Policy with a high deductible. However,when I got home I read the Policy and was not what I needed and too expensive. So, I contacted Ms Bales and left her a phone message that I was not interested in the Policy and wished to cancel. Did I mention she was only opened by appointment. She never called me back so, I cancelled my easy pay and down-payment with the bank. Allstate tried in one day 7-times to retrieve money from my bank account. I contacted their Corporate office who said no more easy pay would come out of my account and cancelled the Easy Pay (Liars). They still tried for months to collect through Easy Pay. Ms Bales contacted me wondering where the Money was. I reminded her I cancelled the Policy. She states why I told her why and she insisted she try to get me a lower policy. She stated since the "Policy Never Began", we'd have to re-write another policy. She said she would get back to me with another rate and NEVER did!! She strung me along for 2 months. I finanally went to another insurance company. However, to date, Allstate is trying to collect $300.55 from me for something I do not owe. And, check this out.....because with their company they have a rule that "You must have insurance with another insurance company before you can leave ALLState".!! (Its like making a contract with the Devil). i Had insurance with another company and am still fighting them and they sent me to collections. In speaking with friends they told me they too had problems with this company similar to mine and they say once you sign up with them they don't want to let you go and continue to charge you and retain you as a customer. THEY SUCK!! and Winnie Bales will do nothing to help you.

Thuy had all the documentation she needed to do her job yet she refused to service my mother who is a senior citizen. Thuy told my mother she "didn't know her and did not feel comfortable processing her paperwork". When do you have to have a personal relationship to do your job? Thuy is a bad representation of what Farmers Insurance stands for. This was very very discriminatory as my mother did not look like Thuy and or come from the same ethnic background so therefore she was refused service by Thuy for that reason. This country has enough racially motivated crimes and Thuy has added to that static today by refusing to service my mother adding insult to injury as my mothers car was stolen and she is only trying to get her claim processed.
