As a woman of color, I have experienced unfavorable treatment throughout my interactions, including disregard and undervaluation. The pharmacy's inconsistent policies and procedures have impeded my ability to manage refills effectively, with conflicting information from various pharmacists causing delayed refills. Unprofessional behavior, such as rudeness and dismissiveness, has further complicated the issue. I have encountered difficulties navigating the refill process due to unclear communication and inconsistent policies. My frustration, with my insurance provider guidance, I filex a complaint, resulting in retaliatory behavior. As far as 'value' and selection, are limited. read more

The worst customer service and reliability I've EVER experienced. I take a controlled substance to assist my sleep, and EVERY single month I have to fight to get it filled before it runs out. Numerous times I have called in to make sure it's ordered and have received confirmation it will be available at a specific day and time, only to go in and be told it's not ready yet and I need to wait an hour before it's ready. The typical response is how over-worked and short handed they are and how it's not their fault. To take it a step further, I'm regularly told that not only must I call in to make sure my online request has gone through, but that I'm also supposed to call in to ensure the order is ready before I come in to pick it up! Are you freaking kidding me? They know that every month that my necessary medication is due, yet EVERY month it's a fight. The staff could care less, and actually attempt to make me feel like it's MY fault and that I should just roll over and accept their poor service. We are the customer and we should be the ones they're assisting, not the other way around. They know they're only one of two pharmacies in the area and they don't appreciate their customers. The female manager is completely snarky, disrespectful, and callous. This is the worst run business I've ever encountered. read more

Rude and unhelpful staff. Interrupted several times, and cut me off while trying to ask for prescription info- then became angry stating that they "didn't understand" the request. To be clear, the information they needed was what I was trying to say when I was interrupted. Customer service has tanked here. Prescription shortages and misunderstandings are not their fault, nor are they a factor in this review. However, the rudeness and poor communication needs to be addressed. read more

There are all these negative reviews. I give the staff five stars as they do what they can do with the limited space they have to work in. If they added more employees they would be in each other's way and it would be a bigger disaster. The pharmacy is in a temporary spot right now as they reconstruct the old space. Hopefully they will be able to serve you Karens better. At least three county pharmacies have shut dow in the past few years which has added to the lack of room. read more

Not sure where to begin, but all I can say is, use a different pharmacy. I have made a lot of allowances for this pharmacy for the last two years. I understand staffing shortages, COVID restrictions, and lack of resources in this area. I now understand that I need to call simple refills in at least two weeks in advance for any chance of getting medications without missing multiple doses. This is even when no confirmation is needed and there are refills remaining, the pills just need to be refilled. Okay, I can play that game. I have felt bad with how busy they are in there!! But when a simple antibiotic prescription on paper from a hospital discharge throws the staff for a loop, to the point that I am making all of their phone calls, providing and confirming details for them, and still unable to get it filled without missing multiple doses, I'm done. I at one point was told that the pharmacy tech "left a message at a doctor's office" to confirm the prescription. When I expressed confusion and asked where the message was left (considering it was a hospital discharge not a doctor's office), my question went unanswered and I was told that "listen we're short-staffed and closing early." I knew I was in trouble. In the end, I called the hospital in Portland (who also expressed confusion as to where a message was actually left by the pharmacy tech), and had a doctor on staff call immediately so that the antibiotic prescription could be filled without missing a dose. That is how important it was to NOT miss a dose! This was 2.5 hours before the pharmacy closed early. I had earlier been told that if things could be confirmed within a couple of hours before closing, it WOULD be filled that day. When I called the pharmacy an hour later to check on the status (an hour and a half before they closed), I was told that no, it would not be filled until mid-afternoon the next day, now missing two doses. I spent an entire day of my life doing what needed to be done in 10 minutes by pharmacy staff, and still had no medication. I am kind of speechless and shocked. Well pharmacy staff, your work load will now lessen, because in the future, I will be going elsewhere for my medication needs. In all honesty, I don't feel safe using this pharmacy anymore. read more

I do not normally use this pharmacy. I have in the past but for the last several years, use a different pharmacy. Today reminded me why. I have never in my entire life dealt with someone as HORRIBLE and RUDE as the young man who I had to deal with today at this pharmacy. It was literally, SHOCKING, how vile and rude he was. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again and I will admittedly make sure I tell all my friends and family to switch pharmacies and NEVER recommend Fred Meyer Pharmacy until this young man is replaced with someone who has a decent attitude and a dollop of common sense about customer service. He should be ashamed of himself and Fred Meyers just went down a notch in my book. read more

This pharmacy has potential, good location, medication people need sometimes, even a driveup window. There are maybe two or three employees I've interacted with who know what they are doing. The majority seem to make up whatever excuse they want & wander aimlessly looking for your prescription. Ive gone in when I received a text saying my /family's prescriptions were ready & the staff had no clue why I got the text & no medication. The reverse has also been true. An asthmatic had to go several weeks with no medication, another family member a month without hormone replacement, once received the wrong instructions on. Now you may be saying, this must be the doctor's fault but I was contacting them & getting confirmation of faxes sent authorizing refills. If your business is to supply medication, shouldn't you make sure you have said medications that your regular customers need? Nothing exotic mind you. If I could give less than one star I would. Very disappointing, here I thought picking a pharmacy closer by would be more convenient. Ha! read more
