My mother and I were the last customers of the night and she took her time with both of us. We both had a wash and cut and she took care of us so well. My mom also had a face wax and Claudia took her time to make the process as painless as possible and was very detail oriented. Dropped off a pole saw to have repaired last August. Never got a call for over six months. Business phone number 503-287-6610 is disconnected. Finally, I went there to inquire. Found out Eric was on the verge of forclosure. Orders stacked up; my pole saw was "lost and in storage". Eric promised to call soon, but he never does. Not the first time. The place is a mess: completely disorganized and in despair. Seems sketchy and junky now. I hate to see a good shop and business decay, but feel it is my duty to warn others: DON'T COME HERE EXPECTING YOUR REPAIR TO BE SERVICED RIGHT. You've been warned.

I get my produce all your long here. I get my plants and flowers in the spring and summer. I get my Christmas trees here in the winter as well as Halloween hay corn stocks. They just keep me here all year long. I come at least twice a week on my Mobility Scooter since it's close to the house.

Unlike supermarket checkouts designed to push impulse purchases, Growers Outlet has surprises in every corner. They don't sell meat, but we usually end up with multiple items that were not on our shopping list. There are a couple of times a year, when we want strawberries for canning, or a tree for Christmasing, when no place else will do. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are many other Portlanders that have their own times of year when they simply have to come here.

The techs are very polite and really know their stuff. Of course they come out to our facility for the big stuff like the sprinklers and alarms, but I liked that I could have my annual inspection for my fire extinguisher done as a walk in. And the annual service was only $9! Highly recommend
