A few tables are available but with no shade. You are also next to a dog park, hiking trails, basketball courts, baseball fields, and tennis courts. There is something for the entire family. We travel to the cape every year and i'm so thankful we came across this spot during our annual visit this summer. We spent almost 4 hours here. Bring a packed lunch, a dry set of clothes for the kiddos and a book to read while your kids live their best lives. Also, a lot of the local moms frequent here often and they were very friendly! Wow! What an…read moreadorable Audubon location. We visited during the rain so we didn't see as much of the trails as we would have normally - but still had fun with what we did see. We had 3 generations visiting - my husband and me, our 4 year old daughter, and Grandparents. The Discovery Center just opened so their isn't much there yet - but the friendly staffer more than made up for that. The staffer took time to show exhibits to my daughter and show the grandparents their interactive bird call computer. Made the museum part feel so much more welcoming. Thank you!!! We also stopped by the wooden playground and took a lap around the pond. We'll definitely return in dry weather. We saw some goats hanging out under a tent to escape the rain too. They're cute.

There are fun little exhibits to check out as well as a small cute playground. You can also hike along the beach and tidal pools during low tide with beauty views of Sandy Neck beach across the harbor. You could do a beach day here as well as there are small Sandy areas for chairs but it's more of a salt water marsh experience than an ocean beach. There is a small fee per person. Plenty of parking by the visitor center and a small lot by the beach entrance. Definitely worth checking out with the kids!

Woods and bikes…read more Brook's Park is a very rustic park that has a wide variety of things to do. Some very nice basketball and tennis courts as well as a lovely gazebo for picnics and very gentle hiking trails with soft pine needles are found within the park. The park is situated right next to the 22 mile Cape Cod Rail Trail that goes through several towns and meanders down to the ocean for those intrepid enough to brave the chilly water to take a dip. The fact that the bike path goes through towns means it easy to stop and load up with liquid or better yet ice cream. The park is well used during the summer months and is also used for X-country skiing and snow shoeing in the winter. A lovely park to enjoy some activities or just find a peaceful and quiet corner for some relaxing and reflection.
