It was always something different on why he still wasn't able to diagnose the car yet. The first time I went to go pick up my car he said he was taking it out of my car with lunch from and said he had to run to the bank in my car.He had my car weeks at a time on the last issue, I called him to see if he started my car yet as it was five weeks and he got disrespectful and started to swear at me because I kept checking on my car. I ended up taking a tow truck picking up my car and taking it to the dealer . He's very rude and unprofessional doesn't provide receipts and gets upset if you ask for one. i've learned that he. has one real Mechanic that works there. Review of one of my visits to Freddy's auto to help future customers. The date in question is 2/2/2024, and I went to get a car diagnosed at the cost of $48 with tax due to what I thought might have been a bad starter because the car wasn't turning on. Sometimes I had already replaced the battery. They NEVER ran any computers or diagnosis machines! They told me it was the starter. When I asked how much it would cost to replace the part, they gave me a print out of the cost to install a new starter which broke down to $508. I told them no because I couldn't afford the cost, so they charge me $48. I gave the old man $60 in three 20s, which he gave me $3 back in change. Sorry I don't know this guy's name. It's not the first time that old man has stolen a tip from me. I usually leave tips, but I felt I was robbed, so I will never be going back to this establishment. Horrible services. I feel bad for the owner, Freddy, who is a good guy, letting the old man run his business to the ground. PS ALWAYS GIVE THAT OLD MAN EXACT CHANGE. When you come here make sure to be specific of what you want and need done, otherwise they'll "assume" what you want and need. I usually bring my oil and filter, this time I didn't bring a filter because I used a filter for 15,000 miles. ( I brought it back before the 15,000 miles, the filter didn't need to be changed) They went ahead and changed it out without my consent and of course charged me for it. Also confirm the price especially if you're a women. My boyfriend and I have been getting my oil change here for 3 years paying the same amount. Take your business anywhere but here. June of 2023 I had my battery replaced at Freddy's Auto as my truck had issues starting up. After I got a new battery, my truck continued to have issues starting up, but not as often so I figured the issue was something besides the battery since I paid for a brand new $250 battery from Freddy's Auto. Well now it is July of 2024 and after having my vehicle serviced by another company they checked the battery and showed that it was defective. I went back to Freddy's immediately hoping that they would have some integrity and replace the battery that I bought from them 12.5 months ago. Not only did they refuse vehemently, but they acted extremely defensive and developed an attitude over me stating the aforementioned facts about my battery issues. One of the employees told me, "Nothing in life is promised, you could die tomorrow, there's no guarantees in life". What in the world does that have to do with my current battery issue? Ironically, my truck wouldn't start due to the battery issue as I tried to leave and they at least jump started my vehicle for me, so thanks for that I guess. I tried supporting this small business and hoping for integrity within a company that lives off of reputation, but this company and its employees are a lost cause. read more

I don't what It is with me and getting nails in my tires. Literally, I'm a nail magnet. In the middle of rush hour when no one lets you cut in front of them and the place is closing in less than ten minutes- I thought I was doomed. The gentleman waited for me and plugged my tire in less than two minutes. It was a 4 inch nail that I apparently ran over and obviously was losing a lot of air by the second. Dude, those guys are angels. They stayed extra time for me despite him having to lock up to go to class. Being stranded in the Miami traffic-ridden area with only seconds before I was completely flat was a huge scare but I was comforted and greeted with pristine service. I didn't even know this place existed if it wasn't for Yelp. Usually, people don't get this lucky with kind good-hearted people in customer service in Miami anymore. I will be placing a complaint with the FDACS. Went in to fix a leak in my windshield wiper reservoir and left thinking they fixed it but when i got home i noticed it was still dripping. I went back in and they barely looked at it and gaslit me telling me that it wasnt dripping that it was just water coming down. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went home again. Next morning i looked at my drive way again and sure enough it was leaking. I went back and they looked at it and said "oh then it has to be something else"... like if theyre not the professionals that are supposed to know and correctly diagnose the car. they charged me $100 and then when i asked for my money back the guy said that he couldn't do that and that i would need to wait for the owner and a very rude way. The service and price are the worst I have ever had. They take advantage when contacted by Highway Patrol for the service and charge outrages tprices. They charge triple the price for tow services and storage compare to the tow places from the same area. If I was aware they were going to charge me that much I would it used the tow company i regularly use. Also their customer service is very poor, no courtesy at all. Worst experience. Needed to buy two tires on a Sunday (today), and saw they had their frontal and back gate open. Guessed it was open (or at least Yelp said it was), so I opened the office door to ask for help. Some hispanic guy told me it was closed, so I proceeded to leave. To my misfortune, I saw my tennis shoes had yellow paint on its soles. That's when I realized the guy in the place was painting some parts of the shop. There was no sign of fresh paint, nor any sign indicating that the place was actually closed. The guy came outside and started cursing because I stepped on his fresh paint. I just said I was sorry (cuz I really didn't notice), and he kept screaming rude stuff back to me. I just left the place. No planning to come back.
