So delicious and convenient! This small family run place, was perfectly situated within blocks of the Amtrak train station where we were dropping off our daughter. We stopped in for a bite before sending her off and it was fantastic. She ordered a vegetarian crepe, my husband had a salmon crepe, and I had the Brie, tomato, and egg. We also had two pots of French-pressed coffee so rich and flavorful, it was a great pick me up! My husband had the chai latte and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We liked everything so much we added an order or the Nutella and strawberries crepe to share, and it was so delicious we laughed we should've each gotten one. Quebec prepared me very well when it comes to enjoying crepes. A pancake like pastry filled with just about anything, and they can be made either sweet or savory. Either one is fine, as long as you do not overindulge it. In short, the crepes here are nothing short of delicious. A one woman show in downtown Harrisburg has me enjoying this repeatedly. Everything is fresh, plentiful, and thoroughly flavorful. The lady who makes the crepes is super sweet and genuine. Most of her customers are European and I am not surprised. The prices are incredibly fair and that is why I allowed myself to gamble on two crepes instead of one. My only gripe is the paper plate with silverware. Maybe it is a cheap way to save money, but invest in good plates. We eat with our eyes, and by getting a nice plate served with these beautiful crepes would give this a five star review. Small "hole in the wall" in downtown Harrisburg. I had to try both a sweet and savory crepe. Everything is made to order and the freshness is obvious from the piping hot food brought to you directly by the chef, to the ingredients themselves. The prices (less than $10 per crepe) were great and made it easy to explore the extensive menu. Not quite five stars for a couple reasons: (1) I wouldn't recommend anything other than the crepes (the chai latte was literally just warm milk). Obviously not a deal breaker, because it's a crepes spot. (2) The inside is VERY small, think six tables and not very clean and (3) the wait is fairly long due to the made to order nature of the food and I believe the chef was (or is) also the only waiter. I've had mixed experience at this place. First, the ambiance and service. The ambiance is rough. If you are a neat freak, this is not your place. If you like everything sparkling and polished, keep moving. This has character and has a simple vibe. There are not a lot of seats. I do like the little table for two next to the window. It's a nice place for a couple to sit, drink some coffee, and share a crepe or two. You can people watch instead of look at your phone. :) Service varies. There's usually a backlog. In part, because these are crepes and they are best served immediately after being made. Ergo, these are made to order. This is not a good spot for grabbing a quick lunch. This is a good spot for slowing down and taking a moment while your food is made. I've tried several of the crepes. They are not oversized nor undersized crepes, and are typically cooked well. The are nice and thin and aren't usually overcooked and cracked or overly brown around the edges. The simple standards are good. The sugar lemon with goes well with an espresso. If you have a sweet tooth, you have to try one of them with the homemade caramel. It's so good, I'd actually recommend the plain caramel crepe. At least the first time you try it. You'll want to appreciate it. I'm not a Nutella fan, but I've been with people who had the Nutella and banana and the Nutella and strawberry. Both received smiles of approval. As for the savory crepes. I really like the vegetarian ones without spinach (just a personal preference). I also like the chicken with mozzarella, olives, and artichoke. As for my dislike of spinach. They use spinach on most of their savory crepes. They are willing to leave it off, but when they do, you lose a lot of the filling. The spinach really bulks things up. There's no swap for the spinach so you're kind of stuck. Prices are decent. Quality is decent. I have noticed a different between visits in how much filling you get. On the plus side, they don't measure things out like a chain restaurant. On the negative side, you feel cheated when you get a small amount but feel odd asking for more (like the last time you were there). I have not done that, but it has been tempting. I've never had breakfast there, but I hear it's a nice option in downtown Harrisburg where there are limited breakfast options. I'd really like to go in there and give the place and funky, artsy-fartsy update to the small space and give everything a good scrub. There is outdoor seating in nice weather. This is the lowest possible 4 starts I can give a place. I would have made it 3.5 but that's not an option and I decided to round up. read more

The tables had these chalk boards i could draw on and me and my husband really enjoyed doodling while waiting- which didn't take long at all. The service was so fast! Adorable little crêperie on Third Street in downtown Harrisburg. Very cozy upon walking in. Grab a comfy seat by the window and enjoy a hot or cold beverage and a savory or sweet crepe. There are only about 6 tables in here so it is very small, but as stated above, very cozy. The benches are lined with faux fur and there are some throw pillows near the window seats. I ordered a crepe with milk chocolate and strawberry and my friend had the banana and milk chocolate. We cut them down the middle and shared with each other. Our only complaint was that we didn't think they had enough fruit in them, but we talked to the gentleman who served us and he told us we should've told him and he would've given us more. Good to know. We also both ordered coffees and although it had a good flavor, I thought it was very strong but my friend seemed to like it. Prices are moderate for what you get. You will pay $5 and up for crepes (see pics for size). The coffee was $3 in a ceramic mug--we weren't offered refills, so I don't know if they give them. read more

Both were superb, with just the right balance of flavors. The café au lait was the perfect complement. The owner whipped up the crêpes deftly, with a sure hand, and carefully packaged them to go by stapling two plates together for each crêpe. I have never seen such care taken. Au Bon Lieu ("The Good Place") on North 3rd Street, Harrisburg, PA, is a short walk from the Harrisburg Travel Center. When my son's train from Latrobe was delayed by 45 minutes I decided to go there, grab a crepe and coffee, and bring them back to the train station. The shop is small, with only a few tables inside, and a couple more outside under large umbrellas. The space was colorful, with posters of Paris and food on the walls. Behind the counter was Farid, the owner/manager. The menu was limited to crepes and wraps, with an attractive Expresso machine for caffeinated drinks. I ordered a turkey avocado crepe, and watched as it was prepared on the round top grills. With the excellent java the cost was about $12. I went back to the station lunch in hand, and sat on one of the benches to eat. The crepe was still warm and very tasty. The avocado was straight from the fruit and combined well with the other ingredients. The shell had a mild flavor that held up well throughout its demolition. The coffee was rich and savory and a nice counterpoint to the mild savoriness of the crepe. Liked it all. Not sure if I'll be back to Harrisburg anytime soon, but that strawberry crepe sure looked good. read more
