Just visited Au Bon Lieu and was very impressed with the quality of the food and large menu selection. We absolutely loved the outdoor seating area, it reminded us of European dining. The owner was very friendly and kind. We will absolutely be back

Highly recommend this for a nice little breakfast or lunch. The service is fantastic, they are so kind and accommodating. The food and coffee was terrific. Reading the owners story on the menu really warmed my heart too, was glad to support local family owned business!

When I walked in, I loved the cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and handed us menus. I ordered the milk chocolate crepe with bananas. It was delicious and very tasty. I would definitely recommend coming here. Not pricey either! Also, they have chalk on all the tables to draw on. So fun!

A no frills, unassuming hole in the wall and one of few breakfast dining establishments open at 10am on a Saturday in downtown Harrisburg. We scanned the menu and then filled out our order using the numbers assigned to each menu item. Our crepes were delicious and served with fresh ingredients. The cafe is very cozy and offers indoor and outdoor seating for roughly up to 20 people. I would recommend Au Bon Lieu to anyone looking for delicious sweet or savory options at a cheap price and convenient service!

I went to get a crepe and everything was served on paper plates. It was ghetto and the people who worked there seemed bothered and the kid was running around yelling the whole time. My dressing was dripping off the plate on my salad. It was not good and I wouldn't recommend esp for a date. Not at all what I expected or expect to get at a restaurant.

Nasty and disgusting. I worked there. Not recommaded. Food not prepped right and not stored right. Surfaces always dirty. And more....

The location was small but very chill vibe to it. The person who took our order and made our food was very nice. The chicken, mozzarella, with pesto crepe was very good. The banana with Nutella wasn't anything special it was decent. The sad part is we went back the next day to get the chicken mozzarella with pesto crepe again. It showed they would open at 10am, we arrive at 10:15am and they were closed. Not sure if maybe the owner had an emergency or something but it was disappointing.

What a cozy and cute spot. I feel like it would be a great spot to take a date too to get the night started. A bit on the pricey side but its different so it's worth the few extra dollars. I had a Savory Crepes (Crêpes Salées) Chicken (Poulet et Dinde) - Chicken, artichoke, olives, Mozzarella, and it was a simple pleasure. I enjoyed it as I watched all the weirdos of Harrisburg walk buy and believe me, there's a lot of them around here.

Cute place, fast service and even better food . Small but a few seats outside. Im not a crepe fan but became one since my visit. I bet they get slammed with take out business .savory and sweet choices are all great . Had one of each and was sold on them .Husband and wife business and they hustle every second .

Adorable little crêperie on Third Street in downtown Harrisburg. Very cozy upon walking in. Grab a comfy seat by the window and enjoy a hot or cold beverage and a savory or sweet crepe. There are only about 6 tables in here so it is very small, but as stated above, very cozy. The benches are lined with faux fur and there are some throw pillows near the window seats. I ordered a crepe with milk chocolate and strawberry and my friend had the banana and milk chocolate. We cut them down the middle and shared with each other. Our only complaint was that we didn't think they had enough fruit in them, but we talked to the gentleman who served us and he told us we should've told him and he would've given us more. Good to know. We also both ordered coffees and although it had a good flavor, I thought it was very strong but my friend seemed to like it. Prices are moderate for what you get. You will pay $5 and up for crepes (see pics for size). The coffee was $3 in a ceramic mug--we weren't offered refills, so I don't know if they give them.

Very nice owner but the crepes were not very good in my opinion, I hate to say. The place itself is also tiny with all paper products.

The moment you walk in, it honestly feels like you've stepped into a little café in Paris. The décor is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with elegant touches everywhere that make the space feel cozy but elevated at the same time. The staff was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The seating is mostly table seating (no booths), with a few smaller tables set along a hallway-style walkway that opens up into a larger dining area. The way the space is laid out feels intentional and well designed even though the restaurant was getting a lot of attention while I was there, it never felt crowded or overwhelming. Everything flowed nicely. It's colder right now, so their front deck seating wasn't open, but you can tell that when the weather warms up there's additional seating available outside on the deck, which would be such a nice spot to sit. The bathrooms are conveniently located right up front, which makes them easy to find. Parking is also pretty simple, there's parking available in the back of the building, and if those spots are full you can usually find street parking nearby. Here's what I ordered: Pistachio Rose Affogato * Pistachio Italian espresso * Vanilla ice cream * Crushed pistachio * Edible rose petals * Wafer East Coast Croissant * Cheddar cheese * Bacon * Spinach * Scrambled eggs * House-made garlic aioli * Served with breakfast potatoes My drink didn't just look beautiful , it tasted incredible too. The pistachio espresso paired with the vanilla ice cream was already amazing, but the crushed pistachios and edible rose petals really took it to another level. It was sweet, rich, and full of flavor. The East Coast Croissant surprised me in the best way. I'm usually not a big spinach-on-sandwich person, but I wanted to try it exactly as it's served to get the full experience. I'm glad I did because it completely changed my mind! Everything worked together perfectly, and the garlic aioli added so much flavor. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back. Next on my list to try is their Tiramisu French Toast and the Strawberry Matcha.

We couldn't taste any of the flavoring in them at all. Had our server not told us which was which, we would never have been able to tell. They just tasted like plain lattes with no added flavor. You can tell it's a community favorite. We ordered two crêpes and a couple of their February specialty coffees, and everything was fantastic. The other was a savory crêpe with called California dreamin' with provolone cheese, bacon, spring onion, apples, and arugula with a balsamic glaze and garlic aioli, which ended up being such a great combination of sweet and savory flavors. Floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days, tables were sticky, and the whole place had this gross, stale smell that hit you right in the face. Not "quirky café smell." I mean bad -- the kind of smell that makes you wonder what's rotting and where. Then instead of taking your order like a normal restaurant, they hand you a little slip of paper and make you write your own order. It's ridiculous. If I wanted to do the staff's job, I'd ask for a paycheck. Service was painfully slow, mostly because the chef spent half the time talking instead of cooking. Just standing around chatting while people waited. I don't care how friendly you are -- cook the food. That's literally the job. When the crepes finally came out, they were served on paper plates with plastic forks. And look, I'm not fancy, but if you're charging real restaurant prices, maybe don't serve food like it's a kid's birthday party in a church basement. And the food? Mid. Basic. Bland. Nothing special. Definitely not worth the price. It tasted like someone followed the most generic crepe recipe possible and didn't bother to add anything that would make it memorable. Overpriced for what it was, and honestly the whole experience made it taste worse. Everything about this place felt lazy -- the cleanliness, the setup, the service, the food. It's like they're doing the bare minimum and hoping no one notices. I noticed. Hard pass. I wouldn't go back even if it were free.
