The cutest bakery/coffee shop I've been in to! I loved looking at all of the baked goods behind the counter. They had everything! From savory to sweet, I could spend all day eating from this bakery. I got the vanilla cold brew with almond milk and a keto quiche. The cold brew is always a must for me, but I was hungry, so i decided to to get the quiche since it looked pretty big. My friend got the bagel with egg and cheese. My quiche was so good! It came cold, which I was iffy about at first, but it was so good. I literally ate the whole quiche and was full for the entire day. You order at the counter and they call your number when your food is ready. You can sit anywhere there is an open table, but you have to take your dishes to the trash area when you are done. I lived the vibe! A little cottage coffee place. Wonderful time getting fall treats at desserts etc! We came to try out the cupcake and coffee flights. They had a seasonal flight with apple cider, pumpkin, and maple inspired flavors. The cake that was cut at the banquet hall and served Immediately. the cake was very dry and the icing was hard. I was very disappointed. I asked others how did they like the cake and they felt the same way. A month later I went back to desserts ETC to try a piece of white cake that was sitting in the display cabinet. We stop here every now and again and grab a cupcake or pastry item and a coffee. The service is always friendly and the baked items are generally fresh. Their price point isn't terrible (about $3.50 - $7.00 for a pastry/dessert) and their sugar cookies are heavenly! Their regular coffee isn't my favorite, but their espresso drinks are very tasty (they can run to about $7 depending upon what you get). We also love when they do "flights", as you get to try different drinks and cupcakes (last time we had one it was $15, however that was a year and a half ago, so they could have increased in price). We were definitely eye hungry when we came to Desserts Etc, so got quite a few items for our trip back home. The (Halloween) cake pops were a huge hit with C & N. The pecan praline brownie was also very good, and I'm usually not a pecan fan. Moist and gooey. Not too sweet! Oreo fudge bomb was good, but probably the least favorite of the pastries we ordered. If you're a chocolate lover, this one is for you! Not overly sweet, but definitely on the sweeter side. Lastly we got a cinnamon roll, which was huge! Definitely more than enough for two, if not three, people to share. You could tell the icing is made fresh. The cinnamon roll itself was light and fluffy. So good! I am writing this primarily regarding cupcakes that we have ordered twice now for events where I work. First of all, both times we ordered, when we went to pick up the order, they "didn't have it" and they acted like we were a pain in the butt as they tried to find it. And we called the order in two weeks in advance AND the morning of to confirm and all was fine. Second of all, the cupcakes both time were SUPER pricey. At almost $80 for 24. And if these cupcakes were delish I MIGHT be okay with that. But sadly, both times, the cupcakes were small and extremely dry. They also had no flavor. How do they sleep at night charging that for that kind of a product? Karns and other local grocery stores are WAY better and WAY less expensive. To start, the service was AMAZING! It was busy when we walked in and had to wait, but they were so friendly and it was like we were their only customer when it was our turn. Also, kudos to the company for training on suggestive selling because they asked us about other things a few times. We got the m&m cookie (funny if you know the history of m&most and hershey), the pumpkin cream cheese brownie, the gluten free black bottom cupcake, and pumpkin pie cupcake. The cookie was very sweet, lots of texture (oats, large m&ms, and my boyfriend thought nuts...but I never had any). The black bottom cupcake was very moist, cream cheese and chocolate chip center, but the flavor didn't really come through on any of it (not very chocolate forward or sweet, which is nice if you aren't a fan of super sweet desserts). The pumpkin cream cheese brownie was very dense and fudgey, no real pumpkin flavor...perhaps because the the chocolate and sweetness were more pronounced? Lastly was the pumpkin pie cupcake (with the cutest piece of pumpkin pie as a garnish). Again, very moist, tasted of pumpkin and was just the right amount of sweet for the cupcake, with the whipped frosting being slightly sweeter. As far as price, some things are a GREAT deal for what you get, others are more expensive (perhaps a novelty item?). We would definitely go again to try other things. read more

Friday the 13th girlfriend weekend we decided to spend in Hershey, PA because what goes better with girlfriends than chocolate? Yum! Yum! Yum!
