Always a great spot to stop by for some sweets. Even made a custom cake as a treat! Camp hills go to spot for the pleasure, Never disappoints in the bakery feats :)

The cookie cake I custom ordered is beyond perfect. Thank you so much to the amazing decorators.

The service is quick and easy, once you walk-in take a number and wait to be called. The bakery has ample amount of people behind the counter that are ready and willing to help. I suggest if you are in Camp Hill area stop-in for plenty of tasty treats. My fav is the Cinnamon Raisin danish(Deelish) and the carrot cake yum.

I recently placed an order with The Pennsylvania Bakery, as I'm traveling to Georgia to see family this week. I ordered 2 large pecan sticky bun rings and peanut butter buns. Autumn was so nice and accommodating over the phone when I placed the order. I had asked that the sticky buns be wrapped so they stay fresh. Autumn assured me they would be baked the morning of pickup and wrapped for me for travel. Again, when my husband and I went to pick up the items today, everyone in the store was so nice and made sure we were being helped. My husband also purchased some Whoopie Pies. The bakery is always very nice and clean, all of their baked goods displayed so nicely! Thank you!!!!

Completely disappointed. We would go to PA Bakery to get cakes and desserts for every special occasion. It was/is more expensive but the quality (creativeness, design, taste) were the best, so it felt like money well spent. My husband ordered a 1/2 sheet cake for our soon to be 5 year olds party. It's an astrobot theme and he gave them photos of what it was. We asked to include a photo on the cake. All they did was scan the stupid photo on the cake and ice around the seams of the photo. They couldn't even blend the edges in or cut the photo sheet closer to the image to make it look better... or dye the icing blue/purple and add glitter to make it look like a galaxy behind him? It doesn't even look like they tried. it looks like a grocery store cake for $112! I could've done better myself but never would've guessed they'd be proud to let this leave their store simply based on how great their cakes & designs were in the past. Acceptable for a $60 grocery store cake... not a bakery.

Spoiled scone and chocolate chip loaf cake

Hello, today I purchased a scone that has a bitter sour taste, it wasn't fresh, it was spoiled. Last month I purchased a chocolate chip loaf cake, I put it in the frig, next day it had mold on it. I do have pictures attached. And I did call to advise the manager to remove the scones from the case so no one else would buy them and be disappointed. I asked for a manager, but the woman sounded like she didn't believe me. I advised her she should taste one. I look forward to hearing from someone with more customer service experience.

Great bakery with many options! For breakfast, they have unique breakfast sandwiches with things like pizza bread. Bagels and coffee are also available. They have unique bakes as well, some of the ones I have seen are: giant stuffed cookies, peanut butter cake shaped like a reeses cup, cupcakes decorated like characters, star wars cookies (May the 4th be with you). Some classics I recommend are: carrot cake and the fruit tart. If you want to try multiple things, they have an option for a dozen mini pastries where you can try multiple things.

I used to come here with my friend 7 or 8 years ago when I still lived in the area. It used to be AMAZING! A local favorite. Last year, my friend bought a ton of sugar cookies with buttercream for my daughter and they were absolutely wonderful. I'm not sure if they're under new management, but the quality has gone WAY downhill. We traveled to the area to visit family and bought several sugar cookies for my daughter, to include the watermelon one pictured. It was covered in white chocolate(?) And the sprinkles are buttercream. It looked like they brushed food coloring on the actual cookie... We ordered several other cookies and they were all dry and not flavorful. I was super excited to try a lemon one and, much to my surprise, it didn't taste at all like lemon. I'm not sure how much my mom paid for everything, but judging by the other reviews, it was too much. Unfortunately, we probably will not be back.

My boyfriend and I bring his daughter here often because she loves picking out a cupcake. Their cupcakes and cakes are very nicely decorated but just average tasting. Not bad, but they look much better than they taste. There are a few items that I've had that were pretty good and I've enjoyed. A banana cream cheesecake, their fruit tarts, and their pumpkin Whoopi pies are a few of their things I've liked. I'll certainly keep trying different things!!

This is what they served me. This is carrot cake believe it or not absolutely do not recommend this place.

I called two weeks ago and asked for six cupcakes that were carrot cake for my birthday. when I got there today I pulled a number thinking I would get some cookies. They skipped my number and called the next person so I was like OK I'll just go over and get my order. so I went over to the counter and stood there for five minutes being ignored. Then when they pulled my stuff up, it wasn't packaged yet. I told them when I'd be there and I was so disappointed with the way it looked. There was no carrot on top of my cupcakes. It looks like white dog turd on brown patch of dirt. I asked them would you put this in your display case and they said No. But you would sell this six cupcakes for $100 to me like this and she said well we can fix it. We can put some sprinkles on it. I'm like it's too late. You already ruined it and it's still not packaged and I told you I'd be here at a certain time. I absolutely do not recommend this place at all.

Nearly…read more6pm on a Friday, walking in alone, knowing I could choose anything I wanted and then sit at a cozy little table to destroy every last crumb in absolute peace? That's my love language. When I arrived, I was person three of three in the small bakery. Quiet and calm, except for a man around my age and a younger boy chatting at a table about basically every topic under the sun. The vibe was gentle, warm, and perfectly unhurried. I took my time browsing their pastry cases--very full pastry cases--and genuinely could have eaten one of everything. But tonight was a dessert-only mission, so I narrowed it down to two knockout items. First up: the easiest decision I've made in months. A HUGE chocolate-dipped cannoli roll filled with hazelnut crème. This masterpiece was absolutely heavenly. The chocolate coating was thick and rich (the kind that snaps when you bite it). The cannoli shell stayed crunchy, which is rare and beautiful. And the hazelnut crème? Smooth, whipped, sweet in that refined way where you feel delighted, not diabetic. Perfection. My second pick was smaller but impossible to leave behind: a Pistachio roll with glossy sweet frosting on the outside, perched on a crunchy cannoli puff, absolutely stuffed with pistachio filling. And let me tell you--this filling was to die for. Sweet, silky, pistachio-forward without veering into "pure nut paste" territory. Pistachio in baked goods can be hit-or-miss for me, but Massimo's nailed the balance. Honestly, they've nailed everything I've ever had from here. My total came to $10.20 including tip, and the value felt spot-on for the size, flavor, and quality of the pastries. Plenty of free parking right out front since it's in a small strip mall. And can we talk about their hours? They're open 7am-7pm, Tuesday through Sunday (closed on Mondays), which is practically unheard of for local bakeries. Those long hours make Massimo's an unbeatable post-dinner dessert stop or a sweet late-afternoon pick-me-up. Friendly staff, gorgeous pastries, shelves of grab-and-go treats, and the peaceful ambiance of a bakery that doesn't rush you. My first solo trip definitely won't be my last. Highly recommend treating yourself. You deserve it.

Newberry reminds me of your hometown bakery where everyone gathers in the morning for their donuts and coffee before heading off to work. Very much like many of the shops in the Bel Air area. The employees are super nice at Newberry. Really taking their time to provide great customer service to each patron that strolls through the doors. Although it was lunch time we settled on breakfast sandwiches with homefries. And I of course had to grab a donut because it's a must, and a latte. The breakfast sandwich was just what you would want to start your day, a savory piece of meat and cheese on a soft bagel. But the star of the show was the homefries. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, crispy on the outside and a soft texture on the inside. We both loved the potatoes. My glazed donut was divine, pillowy with just the right amount of glaze to not make the donut too sweet. The latte was a little to sweet for me, but I'm a little finicky with the sugar level in many caffeinated drinks. All the times I've ventured into Bel Air I never thought to stop at Newberry and I'm glad I finally did. I'll definitely be back to try more of their yummy donuts and breakfast sandwiches in the future.

A Friday Night Date Night dessert stop during my birthmonth felt like the perfect excuse. We headed there after dinner specifically to experience the bakery side of Bella Sicilia. The deli portion will have to wait for another visit. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Friday evening and found plenty of parking out front since the bakery is located in a strip mall. When we walked inside there was only one other person there, but the display cases were absolutely packed with pastries, cakes, cookies, and other treats. My heart nearly skipped a beat. Bella Sicilia describes itself as a destination for authentic Italian pastries, gelato, and deli favorites in Camp Hill, featuring classic treats made with ingredients from Italy and crafted with care. Their menu includes everything from lobster tails and cannolis to signature cakes and fresh gelato, along with deli sandwiches and savory options. With so many incredible-looking options in the case, my adventure buddy and I decided to strategize. We agreed to pick three items to split so we could try more things during our visit. We also sampled one of their almond cookies from the counter and counted that as a bonus fourth item. That almond cookie was divine. It's honestly more like a tiny cake than a traditional cookie -- incredibly moist, soft, and full of almond flavor in every bite. I'm actually glad we tried it after placing our order because I could have easily walked out with a dozen of those and called it a night. For our three official selections, we chose the Red Velvet Mousse Cake ($7.54), a Large Classic Cannoli ($6.76), and an Arch of Happiness pastry ($7.23), bringing our total to $24.97 including tip. When the woman behind the counter told us it was the last Arch of Happiness for the day, I nearly squealed with excitement. We got the final one! All three desserts were absolutely fantastic. The red velvet mousse cake leaned heavily toward the icing side -- rich, sweet, and decadent -- which is exactly how I like my desserts. The cannoli was filled with the most heavenly chocolate-chip-speckled ricotta filling I've ever had. And the Arch of Happiness was pure strawberry-shortcake-style bliss: light, airy pastry with whipped filling and generous chunks of fresh strawberries. We demolished all three desserts and very nearly licked the plates. Before leaving, we grabbed a few additional treats to take home and share with family. I also picked up one of those almond cookies for the ride home because resisting it simply wasn't an option. I'll absolutely be back to Bella Sicilia. Both desserts tasted like nothing, the tiramisu was basically a globe of the blandest vanilla (how do you even do that?) with barely any coffee garnished with a weird bread, not biscoff & the cheesecake you could only taste the fake strawberry puree with no flavor of the cheese that you want in a cheesecake (again, how do you even do that?).
