My post-operative appointment was just as positive as the rest of the experience. Dr. Ehret carefully checked my incisions, answered my questions, and provided clear instructions for recovery. I cannot stress how well I feel this procedure went. Like anyone I looked at the reviews before I booked the surgery and was SPOOKED. The recent reviews are filled with bad experiences. So when I called Liz to schedule my procedure (after she chit chatted with me about a trip I had just been on) I let her know my worries and concerns and the amount of reassurance that woman gave me was astounding. She let me know that most people with good experiences don't leave reviews so I'm here to do just that. Not only is the whole team that worked on me so amazing and friendly, but they walked me through every last silly little question the whole way through with zero annoyance or frustration. And boy did I have a LOT. During the procedure they played the kind of music I wanted to listen to and allowed me to have my face covered with glasses on so I wouldn't have to see what was going on upon request. All that to say this is not a completely painless procedure, BUT it is only in the beginning with the numbing. It was the equivalent of getting numbed up at the dentist just a bit longer and on your stomach haha. Some spots were more uncomfortable than others but all completely bearable. You truly are getting what you pay for when you decide on sono bello. I will update 3 months from now when I'm less swollen and more healed, but as of right now I am beyond happy with the procedure and it gives me confidence that everything will heal wonderfully.

I was told I'm too young to need reading glasses but too old to be diagnosed with a different vision disorder because it's "usually" diagnosed in childhood. He was acknowledging that there is something wrong but then said I'm fine. My primary doctor believes I have a vision problem (the whole point of the referral) but because i didn't have access for proper exams as a kid, I was dismissed. I told him I avoid driving because my eyes can't focus, that I wear prescription reading glasses, prescription sunglasses I wear in stores, and prescription polarized sunglasses, because I'm extremely light sensitive. After I explained my symptoms in more detail, he agreed to write me a referral to a pediatrician. When the staff called to schedule my appointment they confirmed they were testing for what the referral said and my intake form had it written clearly on the top of the first page. During the appointment he suggested I try eye drops and offered to give me a different eye prescriptions, despite me telling him I'm already being treated for dry eyes and just got a new eye prescription three months ago.
