My parents accidentally left milk in the trunk of my car--and it spilled. I'm not even sure how long it had been there, but I discovered it about a week ago and cleaned it right away. Still, the rancid smell lingered, and the trunk was completely unusable. I finally decided to get it professionally cleaned--and WOW, I'm so glad I did! This was my first time having my car professionally detailed, and it now looks and smells AMAZING. I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! I also really appreciated that they asked me what scent I wanted--I picked strawberry (my favorite!) and they sprayed the entire car and trunk. It was the perfect finishing touch! The previous owner had left stains all over the interior, and since I've had this car since the start of COVID, I had pretty much accepted they were permanent. But to my surprise, about 95% of them are completely gone! After talking to my friends about how much I spent, they told me it was actually a great deal--most places charge $300 and up for this kind of service. And I'll say it again: I LOVE how my car turned out! Both the interior and exterior look wonderful. I had never considered getting my car detailed before, but after this experience, I would absolutely DO IT AGAIN! Service is always exceptional here. Have been coming here for years and I always come back. My boyfriend has been coming here longer with Fred. Fred is so nice and always makes sure the car wash is running smoothly. I will always recommend this car wash to anyone. I usually get a basic wash for my camry for $30-$35 and they wash my mats and spray black ice at the end. I bring my 4runner as well and it always gets back to me so shiny even if shes old. I met Steve on arriving, he greeted me and introduced himself. He said his brother Fred was his partner in the business and his dad was the Fred that the carwash was named after. My local car wash is temporarily closed so I called Fred's to see if they'll do it; Fred picked up immediately and gave me an estimate on the spot. I took my car over there and his guys got right on it. Fred and his team pay the utmost respect and attention to your car, ensuring that no spot is missed and the finished work is up to your standards. While I was waiting, Fred was going around and talking to customers. There were especially a lot of regulars as well. After waiting for some time under a shady umbrella, they were finally done. My car looked and smelled super fresh without a hint of coffee at all, and he even told me to let him know if it ever smells like coffee after a few days and he'll fix it right up again for free. Seems like they just do a quick pass through, didn't even noticed when they cleaned the interior cause it was so quick; they didn't spend time on cleaning it well. The interior was my main concern to be cleaned and I ended up cleaning it myself after. If I'm spending $30 I expect a decent, clean interior outcome. Fred's Car Wash is hidden in plain sight on third street and the corner of Eastman. So if you're on third heading towards LA, its after passing the 60 FWY entrance (and Starbucks) and right before the church located on the left. This is an old fashion hand car wash, meaning the guys are literally working with a garden hose and mitts washing your car. The set up of the car wash is not a huge business lot set up. There are some apartments behind the carwash and it looks like the parking lot area was converted into the carwash; they have a canopy set up. A wash, interior vacuuming, spray wax and shine on your wheels is around $27.00. The guys work extremely fast, efficiently and are very detailed. There's a guy walking around the end of the line who's very friendly, approachable and collects payments; he'll ask you mid wash if you want any additional services to your car. They have a couple of chairs for you to sit on; however, they are on the sidewalk. Overall its a great place to come get a car wash under an hour. read more

I usually try to dust or wipe down my car every few days to keep it looking clean. But this time there were just too many layers to do that so I decided to let someone else do it. I have passed by this place many times taking the gold line and it's always busy. I figure there must be a reason! I called ahead on a Sunday afternoon to see how busy they were and how to get there. They're located on 3rd and the entrance is just off Eastman. There wasn't any car in the wash bay under a canopy so I pulled right up. I asked about prices and was directed to the manager on site, who was friendly. Regular wash is $22 and another $5 to add spray wax. I saw two guys use the hose and sponges and do a very thorough job washing the car. They even took out my rubber floor mats and scrubbed with a pushbroom and soap. A true hand wash. Afterward, they pulled forward and another couple of guys started to dry down the car and wipe the windows and interior. The manager was very communicative with his staff and he went around inspecting and using the air hose to get the water out of the crevices. After they were done I got in my car, ready to go and noticed the floor mats weren't there. The manager asked if everything was okay and I said oh they forgot to put the floor mats back. Also asked about if they share the tips and yes they go into a bucket and are shared. Overall a good experience. Reasonably priced considering how thorough of a job they do. Seems there aren't any car washes charging less than $20 nowadays even for a small car. But it's hard work in the hot sun! I appreciate the attention to detail. The owner was so friendly and welcoming; made us feel like old friends. Don't expect anything fancy, this is a straight shot car wash, but do expect a lot of hard working guys that will take care of your car like if it were their own. No fancy machines that spit out a bunch of colored soap, this is an ALL HAND WASHED type of deal, using your regular lawn hoses.
