    Birria Meat in Consomme

We've been to this Freebirds location more times than we can count, and the experience never disappoints! This last visit we stopped in to try their limited-edition Birria, and our burrito maker, Ada, was incredible. Even as things got busier, she stayed friendly, patient, and made sure every detail of our (admittedly large) order was perfect. In past visits, we've also had an awesome younger guy help us (wish we remembered his name cause he rocks!) who consistently delivers top-tier service and even went the extra mile to cook more cauliflower rice and prime rib on the spot when they were out -- talk about above and beyond! The setup inside is painted super cute and they do their best to keep it clean and clear tables as they can. Between the amazing staff we've encountered, fresh ingredients, and the new flavor-packed options that they release regularly this location keeps us coming back again and again. Highly recommend!

Probably the worst burrito I ever had in my life. Frozen burritos are better than what I experienced. This review is based on a catered service and numerous people had the same issue with the seasoned chicken burrito. There was literally 4-5 small pieces of chicken! All rice and beans filler and no thriller. What a huge disappointment!

Tacos, burritos, bowls, chips & salsa...all things Tex-Mex to make your belly satisfied and full. Nice regional chain with fun and funky decor. Efficient and friendly service.

I walked over to Freebirds World Burrito from a nearby hotel after looking at the reviews on Yelp. The restaurant is nice and open with an industrial type feel. I found the menus overhead of the ordering line and found what I wanted. I ordered the monster vegan bowl. I was intrigued by the vegan chorizo and wanted to try it. I loaded up my bowl with veggies and topped it with habanero salsa. The employee that put together my bowl was helpful and made sure I got what I wanted.I also got some ancho sauce on the side as it looked interesting and I always like trying new sauces. Checkout was easy and I ordered my meal to go. However after I saw the sketchy seal of the lid on my bowl (really doesn't secure the bowl very well) I decided to dine in. The seating area inside was nice and clean so I grabbed some napkins and sat down. Most of the tables have their "death sauce" available on them as well. I tried a little and yep, it's pretty spicy. Good stuff. The bowl itself was very tasty. The ingredients were fresh and the veggies were crisp. I enjoyed the ancho sauce as well and would definitely get that again. It adds a nice depth of flavor to the bowl. The vegan chorizo was ok, not really flavorful as I was hoping for. More like a salty addition to the bowl without adding any real flavor. This was my first experience with Freebirds World Burrito and I enjoyed it.

They have the prime rib yall!! I was pleased with the amount of prime rib they put in the bowl, I thought they would skimp on it. The service was good but tge music was a bit loud for my husband.

Every time I visit Freebirds, I'm surprised by how much better their burritos are than Chipotle. Yes, I said it. I love me some tofu sofritas, but let's be honest, all the rest needs work. The Abbots Butcher plant-based chorizo here is fantastic for your plant protein needs, and all the toppings except for the obvious cheese and sour cream are dairy free. You even get a choice of tortillas, of which I highly recommend the spicy cayenne for a nice bright finish. Fast, fresh, flavorful, and reasonably affordable; what more could you ask for?

Freebirds is always a great go to when you want a quick delicious meal! Today I went by to get my free burrito for my birthday reward. Went with the steak burrito. The staff is always all so friendly and there is even a cute patio if you want to sit and enjoy your meal.

For our entrées, we had Brian's Alambre Plate, the Chicken Mole, and the Line Cook's Snack Plate. Brian's Alambre Plate combines sirloin, pork pastor, house-made chorizo, and bacon with peppers, onions, and melted Jack cheese. It was good and certainly offers plenty of variety and flavor. For my personal taste, though, if I am primarily craving meat, I prefer Eldorado's Carne Guisada. There is nothing wrong with the Alambre, I just think the Carne Guisada is the stronger choice for me. The Chicken Mole is my wife's favorite, and unfortunately it is only offered as a special late on Thursdays. The house-made mole has a rich, distinctive flavor that works very well with the chicken, and it is easy to understand why she looks forward to it. The Line Cook's Snack Plate was also a great combination with two flautas, a choice of Chicken Caldo or Texas Red, Eldorado rice, and guacamole salad. It is a nice option when you want a little bit of several things rather than one large entrée. Overall, another very enjoyable meal at Eldorado Cafe. Good food, plenty of variety, and enough different flavors on the menu that everyone can find a favorite. We certainly have ours!

I enjoyed the chips they bring out with your choice of complimentary salsa. If you want to sample all the salsas they offer, you can do so for an additional fee. For my main dish, I ordered the Sirloin Tampiqueño with No Hater Taters (mashed potatoes) and Texas Creamed Corn. The steak was very well seasoned and flavorful. I loved it! The sides were great as well and complemented the steak nicely. I had the Watermelon Agua Fresca to drink. It was refreshing, but not my favorite watermelon drink I've had. Overall, I loved the steak and was impressed with the quality of the food! A couple of things could be improved, though. Some of the light fixtures hang way too low, so if you're tall, be careful! Also, the back-of-house area spilling into the restaurant space feels a little odd and takes away from the overall atmosphere.

I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk).
