Their dog-friendly patio made the perfect spot for us to relax. We were on the hunt for some white wines, and Amy, our gracious host, created a custom tasting to help us find the perfect bottles to take home. The tasting room has a front area for visitors and a back area for bigger events. They also have chairs outside for a relaxed afternoon sipping wine. We did a tasting. I did like some of the wines, though, many would be better with a bit of age. Boco Noir, Traldigo and Cabernet were good. My favorite was a Riesling. It was mellow with a bit of sweetness that was perfect for summer. I definitely recommend trying Giardet Vineyards. It's a smaller, more friendly and laid back place to do a tasting to find what you like and buy a couple bottles and enjoy an afternoon with friends. It's a bit out of the way but I like it that way.

They have an extensive wine list; so my husband and I each did a tasting of 6 ($10), and then ordered the smoked salmon plate ($25). We then took a seat out on the terrace overlooking the beautiful winery and vineyard. Not long after we were seated, we were served our wine flights and salmon plate. Let me first say that the smoked salmon plate was beautifully presented and very delicious. The salmon was tender and moist, accompanied with cream cheese and a wonderful pepper jelly. Oh, so good. My wine flight was mostly whites. My favorite tastes were the sauvignon blanc (not a typical suave blanc, less acidic with a smooth finish); the chardonnay, and the rose. But I enjoyed all the wines I tasted. Also note that they have a small gift shop with some very cute items. I'm so very glad we came here. Great staff, great views, great food and great wine.
