Please find a different company to use! The $100 is NOT worth ruining your car! If I could leave zero stars, I absolutely would. This company scheduled an appointment, then never showed and told us we "weren't on the schedule". Then, a shotty technician showed up a few days later, put a new windshield in, and left paint damage all around the frame of the window... little chunks of paint are gone, down to the metal. When we called to complain, they sent the same "technician" out to assess the damage. He took a few pictures and argued with my husband that "these were already there" and they were "old and rusted".... he must be blind because there is absolutely NO rust and no other marks anywhere else on my 2013 Nissan Altima (which is kept in the garage!). Now, someone else from this unprofessional company is coming back out to look at it in a couple days and argue some more. I am just disgusted that they ruined the paint and can't take ownership for the subpar work they call professional. Please, if you want your car to remain intact, use Safelight. read more

No problem for me. Too bad some folks had issues. In my case, all went well from first call, to install. Sarah was great on the phone and we had a "Three way," with the Farmers rep. The ins. adjuster arrived as scheduled and agreed the windshield needed replacing. Sarah set up an agreed upon "window of opportunity," and Julio arrived in a timely manner, doing the install in about 30 minutes. It ended with a pleasant handshake and $100 in my pocket the wife does not know about. (She never checks yelp.) Great customer service. (Never give 5 stars. TERRIBLE CRAFTSMANSHIP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! Left my daughters car this way (pictures). The weather seal was installed improperly. She advised the installer, Tito Guillermo, but he told her it was fine. She told him it was going to leak air or water. Tito said it was fine and if it did leak to call the office and they would send someone to fix it. She asked him to please fix it now and Tito told her that it's fine that he would 100% guarantee it from not leaking and that he was late for his next appointment. When I got home from work I saw what he did and I immediately called their office and asked to speak with the manager. I was hung up on twice and on the third call the receptionist said the manager stepped out and she took my information and told me that they would call me back, never did, eight days later and the same amount of days calling, I finally got to speak to a manager and she told me they would send someone out to fix it. We'll see. Well they came out to fix the problem. YA RIGHT! They still did a bad job! I wasn't able to be there during repair because I was working but was assured that Freedom's top installer was going to take care of the problem by the manager herself. Well..... Rubber on window trim is now folded underneath trim and the bottom fasteners of the plastic piece at bottom of windshield are now missing (Pictures) and it rattles as you drive down the street! Initially, I was frustrated with not being able to set an appointment sooner than I wanted, but patience is a virtue. I was able to get my glass repaired without me being present, and the work looks great! Reported to me when the repair guy showed up and when he was finished. And right there in my car, was the $100 for the replacement :) I'd definitely recommend their service. They worked with my insurance and all I had to do was call and give them my information. Had a great experience today with my windshield replacement. It was easy to schedule and get a claim going. The install tech was right on time and communicated his arrival perfectly. Install only took 40 mins or so, and as best I can tell (its been less than 10 hours), looks amazing. I will come back for future business if needed. read more

I can only say the most positive things about Freedom Auto Glass. My windshield had a chip which turned into a crack and needed replacement. I put my info into their website on Thursday and received a call shortly after. After a couple quick questions, Wade talked to my insurance and called me back as a conference call with him and an insurance agent. Another couple of questions, very painless all in all. I was given an appointment for Saturday, but as I am depending on my car for my job, Wade was so nice to schedule me in for the next day. Two technicians (Mario and another guy - sorry I forgot the name) came by in the morning, were super friendly, inspected the windshield and the car and made me aware of a couple scratches. Two hours later - they had to go back to the warehouse because of a mistake I made - the work was done and I have a new windshield and $100 in cash as promised. I was looking online for company's to go through and I called Freedom Auto Glass and was so impressed from the first young lady, I think name was Leah, I spoke with to the Installer which I feel terrible I don't know the name. I had a 5 Star experience. I called and the young gal explanned everything and made me feel so comfortable. She went over the entire process from the initail call, to the three way claim call to my insurance, the inspection process, to the work order apprpval, then finally the scheduling of windshield replacement and compensation... which was CASH in hand. I couldn't believe the service I got. Whenever I have heard I could get money for replaceing my glass I didn't believe it, or thought well I cant trust a company that woud do that... what corners are cut in order to give me money and or are they shady and doing something illegal. In fact they did such an amazing job I feel and truly wonder how they made money at all off my auto glass installation at all? I think my winshield looks better then the original windshield I had, plus I had a workmanship warranty and free chip repairs... its unbelievable. I've recommended Freedom Auto Glass to my whole family, all my friends, and any one I know who has a chip, crack, or needs any auto glass replaced. I am a very happy... ESTATIC... customer...to say the least. I had to sign up for Yelp, download app.... when Ive never used this...because I truly believe they deserve the recognition of Superior Service!!! Set up the claim and scheduled to have my windshield replaced within 2 days at my workplace. They do use independent contractors which was not a problem. NEGATIVE STARS So, let me first begin by saying this company wasted my entire afternoon. They don't want or need my business. And buyer beware! Trust me, $100.00 isn't worth it.... I was, the key word WAS going to have them replace two, fully insurance paid claims windshields! When I was waiting close to 3 hours into my 5 hour window.... A man rang my door bell....( no courtesy call ahead... no respectable business like manners)..... I found him milling around my vehicles not waiting at the front door which he had just rung. He asked me to move my truck to the middle of my driveway...(in broken English) and that his "partner" would be right here to work on my SUV...... and that's where my sense of things felt like it was starting to turn bad.....When his partner arrived, children began to file out of the "work van" and entered the other work van that had been there. I asked how long would it take? 40 mins was the reply. As I started inside I forgot to address the only concern with my satellite radio antenna that was connected to the windshield in my SUV. My "repair man" (in broken English) stated that he didn't "know if the antenna would stay on in the hot....heat.....and you (meaning me) should call the office"..... "the office to call if I can't do it" was his words........Wow, really? I called the office and asked to speak with Tracy the person I spoke to when I set up the job. In my first call to Freedom, I explained to Tracy just what I had...satellite antenna, she assured me that it was no problem. Wrong... I mean really? Ummmm, I have a rearview mirror too that has to stay on right??.....SO...I halted the all of the "work" called the office # spoke to the Office Manager and told her if she could get someone here: 1. Without children to which she replied "children, he brought children?" 2. That could take care of my satellite antenna 3. That wanted to work...didn't have other things going on? Instead of four Spanish speaking men, with limited English and two children (younger than 12 years old). With that she replied that the warehouse was closed for the night (a little after 4PM)....to which I replied.....so go to your guys vans that JUST LEFT HERE and get the windows?!!!! To that she said ummm, No, I have no other installers...... My only response to this was to hang up OMG!!! Freedom Auto Glass was so great! I called on a Wednesday and they were able to give me an appointment on Thursday like I requested. Darrick took down my information and told me everything that my car insurance company would ask me once he conferenced us in. He was so patient when the insurance company had us on hold for nearly 20 minutes! The call went just like he said and he was exceptionally polite. The technicians arrived today within the 4-hour appointment window, and they called 30 minutes before arriving, just like Darrick said they would. The technicians (Ricardo and ??) were so nice. They were very clean and looked professional (of course that should be expected....but I've had a different experience with another company). If I could rate below one star, I would. I used Freedom Auto Glass in March for the replacement of my windshield. Less than three months later, the windshield had large crack in it starting at the point where the rearview mirror was attached. Upon calling the company to explain the situation (stated not the paperwork was a guarantee of work), I received not only a negative response, but was also treated unprofessionally and dismissively. I now have to put in a second auto claim into my insurance when it has only been three months. consumer beware!!! read more

I called to make an appointment to get my windshield replaced. After about 10 rings, I am transferred to what sounds like a call center, and someone that is obviously not in our country. I asked this person several times,in different ways about the tint strip I have on my current windshield being replaced. No matter how I described it, she had no idea what I was talking about, and said the only tint they have is what comes on the replacement. I have had at least 4 replaced in the 10 years of owning the truck, and it has never been an issue. They lost my business because of this. Just got off the phone with Safelite. They are coming tomorrow, and it will have my tint strip already done. read more

Scheduling the appointment was easy, they had the windshield in stock, and installed it within 48 hours, timing was due to my schedule, it seemed like they could have installed it the next day if I wanted. We used them in the past to get my boyfriends windshield repaired and they were great so when my new car got a crack in the windshield I knew we needed to call them again they did everything with my pesky insurance company and came out and replaced my windshield within 2 days and they are fast! Scheduled an appt for a Saturday between 1-5, confirmed 3 days prior by Nina. Saturday comes no phone call for arrival. I called at 4:30 and was told by whoever answers the phone (a man) after he pulls up my info that he will call the technician and have him call me. 45 minutes goes by so it is now after my scheduled time, I call again at 5:15. This time I get a female who tells me the other "has left" but she pulls up my info and says I will call the technician and have him call you. No call, no show, no apology, no follow up call on the next business day. This was a cash payment out of pocket not an insurance claim and apparently they do not need the business. So disappointed in their customer service, called Safelite and they were remarkable from beginning to end. Will never use or recommend Freedom auto glass to anyone! read more

BEWARE!!!! Leaking windshield but wont honor warranty!! They should get negative stars. I have tried twice to get his resolved. The manager keeps telling me that it is not the windshield that is leaking. He suggested I file another glass claim with my insurance and told me to tell them it was cracked in my field of vision so they would approve it. I was not willing to do that. They then said it was out of warranty since it was over a year since they replaced the windshield. Their warranty is lifetime on workmanship according to their website. My car is almost ALWAYS garaged and I live in the desert so it had not been out in the rain in that first year and it leaked the first time it was out in the rain. They came out to do a "water test" by sticking a hose into a vent under the hood and said the leak was coming from somewhere else. Yes, they stuck a hose under the hood of my car into a vent! I took my car to the Toyota dealership and had them check every other possible place the leak might be coming from. They determined that it was from the windshield. The manager STILL will not honor the warranty and wants to do another "leak check". Frustrated and angry!!!!! They need to honor their warranty. Calling my insurance company next to see if there is anything they can do. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

Freedom auto glass is a sham and a complete ripoff! I have a 2013 Mercedes c250 which I wanted original OEM glass replaced and was willing to pay any additional money I needed to replace (within reason). I had 3 different people call me and tell me different amounts. First it was $130 with the $100 money back it was going to be $30, then it was going to be nothing because they were just going to cover the difference..Then 10 minutes after I was quoted it would be nothing they called back and told me it would be $200 after credit would be applied. I called and spoke to manager and she was very rude and unapologetic stated shop was moving and it was a matter of numbers. Shouldn't be such a huge deal to get glass repaired. Went through prolite autoglass and it was free plus I got $60 dollars back with original OEM glass from Mercedes dealership. Do not listen to what they tell you. Shop around!!!! read more

If I could give negative stars i would!!! First they had to order my glass from the dealer....ok fine that's great, no worries. It took A week to call me to tell me my insurance approved the dealer glass .... I had to call and find out for myself. I had scheduled my appointment two weeks ago on a friday. Cleared my schedule and waited my 6 hour window time. I got a text saying he hadnt even picked up my glass and wasn't going to make it. So I called and rescheduled for Saturday between 1 and 5, again I cleared my whole day, and no show....no call, nothing. I called Monday and they said they could not make it out the rest of the week because my glass was damaged at the dealer (seriously ?!? You haven't picked it up in a week?!?) so they order my glass and schedule me AGAIN!!!! For another all day Saturday appointment (today) I waited ALL DAY and no show. I called the office they said a dispatcher would call and get me an ETA....8PM NO CALL BACK...yes they are closed. This company is terrible, a joke! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY...They were scheduled to come out on 4-22-2017 and they canceled stating the windshield was distorted and since the factory was closed they would have to reschedule me to 4-29-2017 (appt was canceled by a man named Frank) and then on 4-29-2017 they didn't show up. My confirmed time was from 1-5pm and within that timeframe I called the office 3 times trying to get an ETA....I was told the technician was Tito and they would have him call me, he never called. O'Reilly Auto Glass is the WORST company I've ever dealt with! I would not recommend them to anyone. Their customer service was absolutely awful, unprofessional, the so called "manager" was a complete bitch and was not helpful at all. I then got the pleasure to speak with the supposed owner named Wade. He was a total prick and unprofessional. I can't believe this company is still in business running it the way they do. My installer that came to my house was late, didn't speak English and left my car a complete and utter mess. My glass looked better before O'Reilly touched it!! They promised me $100 cash when they came out, which they didn't have and I was promised the office would get a check out that day in the mail. This place is a scam and a joke all around. Worst Service - Beware of the cowl. be careful to take a picture before installing the new winshield and do not sign on any documents. When requested for a windshield replacement, the technician told me that the Cowl for my car is a bit loose and it will be like after the installation of the new winshield. i agreed for that asked them to fix as it is after the installation of the new winshield. When i checked the cowl after installing the new winshield i see bit gaps between the cown and the winshield at multiple places, this is the not same before installing the cowl. it was just loose before installing the cowl but no gaps. i raised the same issue to the technician saw that and said you will get a call back tomorrow and will be see if it can be replaced with a new one, but did not confirm if it will be or will not be. He then asked me to add the same note and sign the work order. I mentioned that the cowl had loose with more gaps and signed the document . I have not received any call the next day. I then pro-activity called the Freedom Auto Glass and asked about the issue, then one of the manager has taken an appointment to inspect my car on a business day. The manager came and checked car and tells me that it is an Acura Issue not the installation, the cowl will be wrabbed due to excess of sun. But i did clarified him that the gaps that you are seeing here were not there before installing the new winshield. He then arranged a call with the technician after going back to the office and started lying that i the cowl was already wrabbed and i agreed and signed the work order before the installation, but the technician confirmed that it was after the fact. The Manager did asked to cut the call of the technitian(Fank) and should be good. The manager then tells me that any way i am not going to pay for the cowl and you have agreed and signed the document. read more
