Katie Lingerfelt, with Karma Dog Training, is absolutely amazing. My husband and I left our year…read moreold mastiff/bulldog mix with her for 3 weeks to do some board and train. We were completely amazed with the progress he made during his stay; all of his habits we'd hope to break and the new ones we hoped he'd gain (jumping up on visitors, begging, off-leash training, walking, fetch, recall, sit, stay, lay down, go to your bed, and so many more) far exceeded our expectations. She not only did an amazing job with his training but also including him as her family, and introducing him to several different environments that we never expected. She introduced him to children, strangers, dogs, and cats. I can't speak highly enough of the training Diezel received during his stay with Katie and her family. We will always hold our dogs to this standard now and will definitely be using Katie for our future pups. My husband and I couldn't ask for a better dog, thanks to Katie and her ability to bring out the best in him.

Penelope got to interact with other puppies and people and got the socialization that's so important as a puppy. While Penelope thought she was just playing she was actually learning at the same time - sit, down, leave it, walk on loose lead, stay, and even learned about not jumping on people. All the dog owners reinforce training even when the puppies are on off leash play time. Katie's classes are a very relaxed learning environment with Katie's extended knowledge to help with problem issues. I can not recommend these puppy classes any higher for anyone with a new puppy.

But Romeo, even though he is only 8 months old, is friendly, loving, and manageable with me, but overwhelming with company. So, when I realized I was dreading having company, it was then I knew I needed help, ok, I was almost desperate so here we are...LOL Here is what I love about Candice's system: First off, she comes to your home to evaluate the whole situation. She did not rush me; she took her time. This is big because, in the end, our dogs have to come back and live with us. Candice keeps in contact with you during the 2-week process. Being from Belton, Texas/Central Texas, she is very close to me. She made home visits during the training, bringing him to me so we could work together with his new skills, too. There are children at her home, so he was socialized with children, which is critical in having a family dog. I love that she took him to public destinations, too. Especially since we are working on him being my medical service dog as well. I am very happy with the results. I see a huge difference in his overall behavior, and so do all of the victims of his overwhelming affection prior to the training. Something else, not only does she know her business, but I enjoy working with her. Candice is very personable and warm. I really like her as a person, too, not a need but a great added bonus. Because I purchased the 2 week boarded training, I get unlimited private lessons. Bonus for sure, because no matter how well-trained our puppies are, we can have slips here and there. Lastly, she delivered him sparkling clean and deshedded... another HUGE bonus for me.

He was over due for a haircut and we've been at our property where he's been running and rolling around. When I booked the appointment I said in the notes that he had some matting which I stated again in person at drop off and let the person checking him in that he was fine to be shaved down because of the matting and understood if there would be an additional charge, which there was. When I picked him up his groomer Brittany said she had to shave him down because of the matting which I for a third time acknowledged that I was aware of. On our way out the door she said quite loudly, twice that I heard, how "horrible" my dog's fur was with other customers in the waiting area. I was very aware of his coat and did not need to be shamed by her in front of others. Our previous visit went great but of course that groomer no longer works there. Professionalism is lost on people in service these days. So unfortunate.

They wouldn't touch him, examine him, nothing! You should call your vet and get him checked" How about YOU call your vet and or if you were when this happened EXAMINE if the poor dog is okay! I understand you're all about $$$ but where is the human decency? Imagine someone getting hurt as a doctor and having strangers giving more assistance and you chime in "you should go see your doctor!"
