TERRIBLE experience! Complete AMATEUR hour! This group really didn't have it together. As the seller, we were responsible for paying for the escrow company. NOT money well spent. Our primary contact, Mike, only interacted with us a couple times over email. Past the initial communications we were handed off to the notary, Allison, who ran interference. And managed the collection of all necessary documentation. She didn't seem to know what she was doing and there was an unnecessary level of confusion because of that. When we came into the office to sign the papers we still never met with Mike. His office was next door to our conference room but when questions came up Allison ran back and forth. He couldn't be bothered the respect of introducing himself to us, the folks paying the bills. e signed the docs but never saw them actually notarized. We didn't receive signed/notarized copies and walked out empty handed. But we weren't done. The settlement statement was still up in the air and required signatures. We left Allison with changes and updates that needed to be made before we could sign. The first set of docs that came over, via email, were still not correct. The changes we requested hadn't been made and there were duplicate charges added. We waited hours for the revised docs. When Mike finally sent the corrected docs over he blamed the delay on us, telling the realtor that he sent them three hours prior when he had not. I never write reviews. But this experience was so awful and created so much unnecessary stress I felt I needed to warn potential future customers. There are MANY escrow companies out there. DO NOT CHOOSE FREEDOM!!! read more
