Needed an FFL to transfer an online order. The folks at Briarhawk make is simple and dot their I's and cross their T's. They offer one of if not the cheapest FFL transfer fees and they have a good selection of carry pistols and other firearms in the shop. True professionals here. My husband and I recently discovered this shop and we're seriously so impressed. The guys there were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and just genuinely cool to talk to. My husband needed a new frame for an older slide he had, and they handled everything from ordering it to making sure the whole process went smoothly. They even helped him assemble it when he ran into trouble removing a stubborn pin from a different frame, which they absolutely didn't have to do. Everything in the shop is quality and worth every penny, from the products to the level of service you get when you walk in. We actually live pretty far away, but the drive is 100% worth it and we'll definitely be coming back. Thanks Wolfgang and Chris for all your help! read more

10/10 Absolutely recommend! Phenomenal customer service ! I walked in first thing Sunday morning @9am to use the DIY Desk . Meet Adam, told him that I didn't know how to put a piece on my gun and without hesitation he sat down with me and we got this bad boy in tip top shape. He even cleaned my gun for me. I got my new gun shipped to this place and it was actually a blessing! I met Dave and he was so cool and knowledgeable about everything! Had some recent safety concerns and needed mace, a taser and bullets for my gun. I found this shop was close by and walked in and was treated very well. They helped me get what I needed and they suggested the upcoming CCW class. Just completed it, 4 hours Friday night, 4 hours Saturday morning. Steve the owner and Will were educational, knowledgeable and just good guys passionate about teaching us right. Shooting at The 702 Range was nice, and every minute of our 8 hours was worthwhile. I ended up getting a mini gun vault because I have a teen at home. (Thanks to the education from the class) This place will be my source of more guns, ammo, equipment and ongoing training. Thank you! Been coming here since the lockdowns, its the first and last gun store ill ever need to go to for as long as I live here in Las Vegas. Great guys, great consistent service, can't ask for much else. I use them as my FFL and when I'm able i try to grab a box of ammo to go along with my pickup, its always priced fairly which is yet another great thing about this place. Very nice privately owned, well stocked shop with freindly and helpful staff. I've ordered several firearms and used their FFL service and they only charged me a very reasonable fee. They also extend courtesy discounts to current and retired law enforcement officers. I have dealt with some other gun shops in the area and they really couldn't match with Briarhawk as far as courtesy and professionalism. Keep up the good work. By far the most organized,professional and responsible staff I've encountered during this pandemic. They constantly updated us via social media regarding ammo stock, hours of operation and how they planned to stay operational and safe in the midst of this ever-changing climate. They handled two FFL tranfers for me this month with ease. They went above and beyond to keep background checks rolling and kept us updated and informed as to how long the backlog was. I purchased a Shotgun for my friend who also has a CCW like I do. I had it delivered to Briarhawk Firearms and Ammunition because I used to have most of my guns delivered here when Art used to be the salesman. I patronaged this Gun Store since it opened. When I went to pickup the Shotgun the salesman refused to transfer the gun because he said it was a "Straw Transaction", whereas a person is planning to transfer to another. That was the point... it was a gift! The person I was planning to transfer this gift is a CCW holder also, this makes him a highly qualified person ( due to the extensive background check associated with a CCW) to receive possession- as a gift... The salesman said he is sending the gun back to the company that sold me the gun. I was disappointed especially since I told them that I am giving this Shotgun as a gift. To make this story short... The store owner, Steve made things right... He read my initial comment on Yelp which was negative. We communicated, we worked together to resolve the issue... he was excellent! My shooting buddy and I went back to the store to finish the transaction. That felt like the store I used to know. It was like customer service to the maximum again... Thanks Steve! Many of us love the sport and hobby of shooting, some of us share our joys with our friends and shooting buddies... I won't be afraid of buying my friends a gun as a gift again, through this store... By the way, there are some rock bottom AR 15's there on the rack... Not cheap stuff- good quality! Thanks Steve, thanks everyone for reading this comment... In full disclosure, I have not done a transaction with BF yet, but walked in yesterday for an informational on FFL'ing an out-of-state purchase for the first time. Casey (iirc) was the associate who helped me, and the service could not have been more relaxed, professional, and low pressured. He spent time answering every question even if mundane and esoteric. While they did not have the product I wanted, he immediately attempted to find what I was looking for through his supply chain. When that was unsuccessful, the then provided me a list of e-Com vendors I could search through on my own to find the item for less. It is rare that a proprietor would walk a potential customer to a competitor and try to help them if they could not fulfill the sale themselves and risk sending profit out the door, but conversely, it demonstrated to me their goal is TQM - total quality management (i.e. Everyone is a future customer, even if they are not transacting today, and should be treated as such). read more

This is my all time favorite gun shop. I have been to a few here in Vegas, and this one is by far the best. The customer service and knowledge from the employees is beyond amazing. I came in to get some ammo for the current gun, and ended up getting a new gun and I'm so glad I got it. This store is out of the way where I live, but the drive is totally worth it. The store is super organized and they have a lot of variety. They have everything you'd need. I will definitely be coming here for everything I'll need and would highly recommend it to anyone. read more

I ordered a firearm (Smith and Wesson shield 2.0) from Palmetto State Armory on June 17, 2020 and received an email saying they had sent it on June 29,2020. Went there July 9, 2020 and still no word on my gun?

With respect to the range check in .... I think that the two individuals I see on my weekly trips are 100% rock stars .... Now the retail side is always checked out after a shooting section. I must apologize that I don't recall any of the guys names other than Brad. I'm pretty much a sig sauer shooter and the retail side is a sig elite dealer, so it is always stocked with the newest models and accessories. The lanes are well-lit and the facility is very clean, which makes for a productive session. Value: Hard to beat $24 for the whole day (good until they close). I brought my own guns, ammo, and targets, so for a straight range fee, the value is excellent. Highly recommend this spot whether you're a local or just passing through. I'll definitely be back.

We adopted my niece when she was 18 months old, and she attended this daycare until she was about 2 1/2 years old. We also enrolled our infant daughter here when she was around 3 months old. Ultimately, we decided to stop bringing our children because our daughter was constantly sick. The breaking point came when she became so ill that she had to be hospitalized. One of the biggest concerns I had with this daycare is that children of different ages are kept together throughout the day. In my experience, this creates an environment where illnesses spread easily. Since switching to another daycare, our children are no longer getting sick nearly as often. I also found the enrollment process confusing. We were handed a packet and asked to sign paperwork without much explanation, leaving me unsure about policies and expectations. In contrast, our current daycare thoroughly explains everything before enrollment, so parents know exactly what they are agreeing to. Another concern was infant safety. Babies were often placed on the floor while older children ran and played nearby. This creates a risk of injury and is something that made me uncomfortable as a parent. Overall, I was disappointed with the level of care and organization we experienced. As parents, we want our children to be in an environment where they are safe, healthy, and receiving attentive care. I am grateful we found a daycare that better meets those expectations. This was our experience, and based on that experience, I would not recommend this daycare. I however highly recommend The Learning Experience.
