This is probably one of the most honest and relaxed gun shop in Vegas. They mean business - they certainly take no shenanigans... but they are not gonna mad dog you the entire time you are in the shop and make you feel like you are inconveniencing them. My husband and I recently discovered this shop and we're seriously so impressed. The guys there were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and just genuinely cool to talk to. My husband needed a new frame for an older slide he had, and they handled everything from ordering it to making sure the whole process went smoothly. They even helped him assemble it when he ran into trouble removing a stubborn pin from a different frame, which they absolutely didn't have to do. Everything in the shop is quality and worth every penny, from the products to the level of service you get when you walk in. A nice local gun shop. I really like the classes they offer here. Steve is an excellent instructor. Adam is always very helpful. The whole staff is friendly and is good at customer service. Limited selection of ammunition brands, but they carry most every cartridge you'll need. GLOCK // 45 I've been to a few shooting ranges and visited a few gun shops in the area. After browsing on yelp I came upon this gem with a 5 star rating. I enjoy browsing around, but I knew exactly what I wanted prior to coming in. Prices are reasonable and a nice variety of hand guns to choose from. Brian helped me and showed me a few glocks that I could pick from. I initially wanted a glock 19, but ended up with a glock 45. What can I say, the heart wants what it wants... great service, friendly staff and very knowledgeable. They offer this virtual shooting range, but I didn't get a chance to test it out so maybe next time. Highly recommend coming here. I would definitely return. Keep up the great service. Had some recent safety concerns and needed mace, a taser and bullets for my gun. I found this shop was close by and walked in and was treated very well. They helped me get what I needed and they suggested the upcoming CCW class. Just completed it, 4 hours Friday night, 4 hours Saturday morning. Steve the owner and Will were educational, knowledgeable and just good guys passionate about teaching us right. Shooting at The 702 Range was nice, and every minute of our 8 hours was worthwhile. I ended up getting a mini gun vault because I have a teen at home. (Thanks to the education from the class) This place will be my source of more guns, ammo, equipment and ongoing training. Thank you! By far the most organized,professional and responsible staff I've encountered during this pandemic. They constantly updated us via social media regarding ammo stock, hours of operation and how they planned to stay operational and safe in the midst of this ever-changing climate. Very nice privately owned, well stocked shop with freindly and helpful staff. I've ordered several firearms and used their FFL service and they only charged me a very reasonable fee. They also extend courtesy discounts to current and retired law enforcement officers. I have dealt with some other gun shops in the area and they really couldn't match with Briarhawk as far as courtesy and professionalism. Keep up the good work. I purchased a Shotgun for my friend who also has a CCW like I do. I had it delivered to Briarhawk Firearms and Ammunition  because I used to have most of my guns delivered here when Art used to be the salesman. I patronaged this Gun Store since it opened.  When I went to pickup the Shotgun the salesman refused to transfer the gun because he said it was a "Straw Transaction", whereas a person is planning to transfer to another. That was the point... it was a gift! The person I was planning to transfer this gift is a CCW holder also, this makes him a  highly qualified person ( due to the extensive background check associated with a CCW) to receive possession- as a gift... The salesman said he is sending the gun back to the company that sold me the gun.  I was disappointed especially since I told them that I am giving this Shotgun as a gift. To make this story short... The store owner, Steve made things right... He read my initial comment on Yelp which was negative. We communicated, we worked together to resolve the issue... he was excellent! My shooting buddy and I went back to the store to finish the transaction. That felt like the store I used to know. It was like customer service to the maximum again... Thanks Steve! Many of us love the sport and hobby of shooting, some of us share our joys with our friends and shooting buddies... I won't be afraid of buying my friends a gun as a gift again, through this store... In full disclosure, I have not done a transaction with BF yet, but walked in yesterday for an informational on FFL'ing an out-of-state purchase for the first time. Casey (iirc) was the associate who helped me, and the service could not have been more relaxed, professional, and low pressured. He spent time answering every question even if mundane and esoteric. While they did not have the product I wanted, he immediately attempted to find what I was looking for through his supply chain. When that was unsuccessful, the then provided me a list of e-Com vendors I could search through on my own to find the item for less. It is rare that a proprietor would walk a potential customer to a competitor and try to help them if they could not fulfill the sale themselves and risk sending profit out the door, but conversely, it demonstrated to me their goal is TQM - total quality management (i.e. Everyone is a future customer, even if they are not transacting today, and should be treated as such). read more
