If you have no clue what your doing with your guns or optics I recommend coming here first and talking to ADRIAN SALDANA who know's the ins and outs of most weapon systems and optics better than I can tie my shoes!!! I had an issue with my optic being loose on the frame and under 5 mins he figured out I was using the wrong screws, mean while assisting another customer at the same time! Depending on where you're coming from, it might be a bit out of the way, but if you're headed to or from the CCSC, it's absolutely worth a quick stop. The shop sits at the bottom of the hill on Decatur, just north of the 215, and shares a parking lot with a gas station and a handful of other small businesses. Inside, everything is spotless and extremely well organized. The staff are incredibly friendly - they offered me a complimentary soda or water at least three times while I was browsing - and there's even a clean public restroom if you need it. During the outage, I decided to hold off on acquiring a firearm. Decided I'd put one on layaway until everything went back to normal. After hearing the Brady system was back up, I made my way to the shop and filled all the paperwork out and was told "please wait until the end of the week just in case we're backlogged." The owner is often in the store himself, and is also happy to help you select whatever it is you're seeking. The gunsmiths are fantastic- they recently helped me loosen up my Banish 30 suppressor, after the extension had become stuck, and gave me tips on when to clean it (basically: not for a long, long time....but they DO offer cleaning services, which I will use, once my suppressor needs it!). I took the Spartan Arms Handgun Course with Chance Knoblauch, and I'm going to try to take his CCW course coming this December. He gave a wealth of information, was patient, let me use his equipment for the rental, and was very welcoming of novices into the gun community. I have a list of things to get and an even bigger list of questions to ask the next time I see him. If you know nothing about guns and firing guns (like me), it helps a lot to take classes not to just learn part of the gun, technique, stance, and shooting, but the more nuanced things with guns. This was my first experience, and I was told the gun community can be a bit egoic and rude to people who are not experienced/military, but I still encourage people, especially given the current climate, to get into guns and know how to use guns. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- !!! They're more scared of California gun control laws than us Californians are. Bought some STANDARD cap mags online here, while living in California. Went in the store to pick them up, and they wouldn't release them to me cause of my California ID, like they're breaking the law. It is perfectly legal for me to buy standard cap mags online and have them shipped to a store or address out of state. 100% legal. In fact, I went to another store and gave them my business and spent my money there. How is it that people that claim to be pro 2A will treat someone from California like we are a second class citizen? Y'all wanna say this or that about gun control laws and act tough online, but when it comes down to it, you're more scared of California gun control laws than us in California are. Y'all ever take into account that it's us that take on the risk of whatever the hell you guys are scared of? We know standard cap mags can't be "imported" into California. I buy tons of mags out of state in Arizona and Nevada (not your store) like a normal American citizen and before I return home, I simply install blockers that can be bought on Amazon for like $15. Sad thing is I served 9 years in the US Army just to be treated like a lesser person by some fudds. Oh well i guess. Don't worry, we're fighting the good fight here in CA against unconstitutional gun control laws. If you wanna be pro 2A, then actually be about it when it counts and stop being scared of gun control laws that have absolutely no affect on your store. read more

I really want to like this business. It's close, decent inventory, people are fine. I just can't with their prices. Everything is full MSRP and they just raised their rates for FFL transfers. Even for receipts, they now charge $50 plus a $25 background check fee even for Nevada CCW. read more
