I will take this post down the minute our issues are corrected. I highly do not recommend Freedom flooring owned by Larry M. They don't respond or communicate well. Your house will be trashed. It's been 3 months we have been complaining about the work. I moved into a brand new house, their team scuffed up my doors, walls, base boards. They sent a team out to paint, yet they used wrong paint. I had to call my home builder who was not involved with this to fix Freedom floorings issues. He only put leveler in certain places of the house and I have a dip in the middle of my hallway/ living room. Listed below are the issues and pictures depicting what he believes is good work. 1) I have a dip dead center of my walkway 2) majority of my white doors were scuffed 3) walls were scuffed 4) nobody wore shoe coverings and it was muddy. How does your team walk into new flooring, with muddy shoes?? They worked from front of the house to the back, instead of back of the house to the front. Nobody wearing shoe coverings scuffed up my marble tiles and made my floors muddy and dirty. 5) edges of every wall were scuffed 6) base of door trims were pre cut without measuring the thickness of the flooring so now I have gaps between flooring and base of door trim filled with caulking. Speaking with other floor installers they state there shouldn't even be a gap! 7) the risers they installed on my stairs squeak. I was told by his workers give it a few weeks to settle in and it will go away. I have a family of contractors in OC. They stated that it was BS. Til this day the stairs squeak. Freedom flooring staff and friends were trying to justify squeaking stairs in a brand new house is NORMAL. Lol that's a joke 8) they installed my washer and dryer back in, which is fine but they didn't tell us they didn't know how to do it!!! GAS WAS LEAKING FROM THE DRYER!!! I called 20/20 plumbing and have this on record. Since the day of inspection, we've told them about these issues (December 2022). They sent a guy today 2/20/23 to caulk their way out of this. I come from a family of lawyers.. and contractors. If this isn't corrected soon i will take action and won't stop until these issues get resolved. Conversations with Larry on the phone were bias. We complained about the issues and he kept cutting us off as if our concerns didn't matter. He kept saying his team is the best. Please look at the images below.. you make the judgement if you'd like to go with this company. Again these images are without the unfinished un leveled flooring and the multiple risers that aren't properly installed making noise. When moving in my tv was stepped on by his team, and walls damaged by his team. You can't hide damages on a new house. I had to get my builder to clean up his teams work. Again don't get confused either "Friendly flooring". Freedom flooring is his company. I have screen shots and saved conversations of every complaint with the date provided. I have license plates of their work vehicles and can look up names to see if their employees are licensed to work on projects like this. I've listened to them again about what's acceptable, little did they know I had multiple people come out and explain to me why the risers make noise and how it should be fixed, and if the dip in living room doesn't get leveled.. the consequences. Save yourself... move on to the next company. I will adjust this post if our issues get fixed. read more

Freedom Flooring did an amazing job on installing laminate flooring in our 3 bedrooms and baseboards throughout our home. They were able to get right out and give us and estimate, and got us on the schedule & installed right away. It looks way better than I imagined. All my neighbors are so jealous :^). My daughter and Son-In-Law had them do their whole house recently and it looks great. So glad they gave me the referral. I would highly recommend them. Our floor was installed 2 years ago and needs to be replaced. I am being told a vapor barrier needed to be put down on the concrete but wasn't, so the planks are cupping and breaking apart. The manufacturer American Flooring Distributor is saying it was an installation issue. Been trying to get Larry on the phone but I see this business is listed as closed. Freedom Flooring worked with Elite Flooring to instal my new luxury vinyl plank flooring with a combination focusing on perfection, efficiency, and speed. The men who performed the installation were respectful of my home, did a wonderful instal and even a quick cleaning before leaving. I hopefully won't have any flooring needs in the near future, but I would contact Freedom Flooring again! We love our new floor. I wanted to rip out my bedroom carpet and install wood like laminate floor. They are a very reliable and honest company. I've had several people who gave me quotes, but I liked how they told me exactly what they were going to do and even gave me some recommendations on what type of floor. I originally asked for vinyl and thought laminate was the same. Larry even left my house, went to home depot to get a sample, and came back to match my hardwood floor. The men who came over to do the install was also very thorough and professional. We are very happy with the service. I would highly recommend this company for all your floor needs. read more

We contacted Friendly Flooring on yelp and we received a response within 10 min. Larry (the owner) was able to fit us for an appointment the next day. We wanted to do 3 bedrooms in carpet. We were not sure what kind of carpet to get since we have a dog and we wanted something stain resistant. Larry came and he had plenty of carpet samples he explained the different kinds for us. We chose a brand and Larry had plenty of colors and options. Larry measured the rooms in a few minutes and we chose the color we wanted. We wanted to schedule the installation as soon as possible so he scheduled our installation for the week after. The installation crew showed up on time and were able to finish the job in one day. They cleaned after them and returned the big furniture back. We had a great experience and will be recommending Friendly Flooring to our friends and family. read more

Terrible experience with Larry. The staircase flush mounts immediately started coming up and getting Larry to give me any attention after he was paid in full was incredibly difficult. It took six months of me calling and texting for him to finally coming out with the flooring company that actually did the work. Larry insisted the stairs were "solid" . The contractor admitted they were not. The contractor had recently told me the material was not taking to the glue and that was the problem and that he was going to contact the person that sold the flooring. But now Larry is not having any of this since he is the salesman of the flooring. He was incredibly agitated and speaking in a very rude manner to me. Finally after the contractor agrees the floor is not solid Larry says that no laminate floor will take to the stairs and that's why he told me to go with wood. He said he tells all his clients that only wood works on the stairs. I was shocked! No ! you never told me that the material you sold me wouldn't last or adhere properly. I never would have given you over 18 grand! For bad material or a faulty staircase! So rude and insulting to lie to me about our conversations concerning the sale and to raise his voice to me in my home! He is just a salesman and he contracted the company to install the floor. So I paid more than if I just went directly to the flooring company that installs the floors which is elite flooring. My advice is to go to a place that knows about the material they are using and installs it themselves!!! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dawn and Larry over at friendly flooring. I really felt like more than just a customer when I dealt with them recently as I had a pipe burst underneath my sink in my kitchen that ruined everything. They really seemed to want to get me back on track with my life than more than just sell me a product and have it installed. I had a great experience working with Dawn! She came to do my closet. I have to say that I was a bit nervous because she said she could create more space in my closet with out actually making my closet bigger. I just couldn't see how that was possible. I had an awesome experience with Friendly Flooring! They did my floors and redid 2 bathrooms and my kitchen! From start to finish it was less than 2 weeks. Larry was honest and reliable and helped me tremendously with scheduling as it is a rental property and I did not live nearby. I love the way everything turned out and the pricing was great!
