Well I unfortunately feel the need to update my review... I just feel like I need to be really honest about the whole experience because if someone would have shown me how my flooring ages before I bought it I would have done things very differently. If someone would have told me that in the flooring world, "lifetime warranty" means nothing, I wouldn't have bought LVP at all. Jason nice to deal with and his installers are great. Absolutely no issues there. But when we bought this floor we were told that it was basically indestructible. Waterproof. Scratchproof. Industrial grade. Lifetime warranty. We are easy on our floors. We take our shoes off, nothing crazy going on here. My floor is literally crumbling. Absolutely falling apart. Scratches all over, big divots, cracks, it's warped. Absolutely garbage and it's my whole downstairs. It's still new in my opinion and it's trash. I asked for them to look at it and they said that the lifetime warranty is through the company that makes the product, and nobody is successful getting them to reimburse for this crappy product. He said he didn't know it was crap at the time it was sold to me. Here I am, needing to buy a new floor when this was done 5 years ago. Not at all how I expected this to go. They said that they would send photos of the damage to the company to try to get it covered but we never heard back about it. I bought my floor from them based on the yelp reviews so I feel like it's only right that I update my experience because I know how important it is to hear from other people about their personal experiences. read more

They also did my bathroom flooring left unfinished from a previous bathroom remodel, looks perfect. They demoed, leveled the floor, installed LVP. Pulled out the carpet from my stairs and pulled out all the nails since I wanted to go with the natural wood floating stairs underneath the old carpet. Replaced the upstairs carpets including closets. Shaved down the doors as I picked a much more plush new carpeting. The financing didn't work out at the end but Jason took care of it. i'm very disappointed with Friendly Flooring at the moment. I'm having trouble with my laminate flooring that is coming up off the floor. I purchased it and it was installed by Friendly Flooring. I contacted Jason owner of the company and he came out to review my floor and stated that there is an issue with the the product it is faulty. Has offered to make it right, but after meeting with him does not respond to my messages keeps saying he will get back to me and has not responded to me yet. They said we could leave large furniture but just pack the nick nacks. We decided since we would do it while on vacation, the fastest way was to move everything out. That was completely my choice. I knew it would get done a lot faster since we laid LVP over existing tile, they needed to skim coat and level all our flooring. So recommendation to move furniture out if that is the case. It started off very well, but after they got their check, we had to chase down the owner for three months to finish the job. In the end, it was too exhausting and we ended the relationship. The owner sent me $200 through Venmo instead of resolving our issues. I would not recommend this business. In February 2023 we contracted with Friendly Flooring to do new vinyl planks throughout our new house. We also hired them to do all new painting throughout, replace the old baseboards, replace all of the lighting and to install new tile in the powder room. For us, at $50k, this was a very big job. It all started off well enough with the demo of the old flooring and installing the planks. But when it came to the painting, we had so many issues. The head painter made a lot of mistakes (glossy instead of flat paint, very visible patching, careless work that necessitated replacing damaged outlets and electrical switches, sloppy work on the baseboard installation, paint spills, on the new flooring). We paid our invoice promptly with the handshake promise from the owner, Jason, that the remaining jobs would be complete to my satisfaction. Our contractor had gotten COVID and the owner, Jason, took over as the manager of the job which may account for some of the mistakes. But Jason was not invested in completing the work with any eye for detail. He had his money and even when I took down my positive review, he wasn't inspired to make me a happy customer. For three months I exchanged texts and voicemail with him. He would send a worker who would only complete one or two items at a time dragging out the process into its 12th week. Finally, I had enough of being disregarded and of having my time wasted by cancelled appointments or no shows. We said "enough is enough, we'll hire someone else to finish the remaining tasks." There was no apology for the income, just a Venmo deposit to my account for $200. I have a long record of texted promises and the job is still incomplete. I would go with another vendor. read more
