Our regular carpet supply place of 24 years went out of business, and we found Tri-City on Yelp. We were not disappointed. We purchased four, custom cut, carpet rugs with angles and radii, that Tri-City Carpet made, just based on a hand drawing and some measurements. The lead time was one week and the rugs were done on time. The quality of work is flawless. The measurements were perfect and the carpet pattern aligns perfectly with the edges of the rugs. (In case you're wondering about the straight cut corner of the rug in the pictures, it is cut that way to keep people from tripping, or having to step on, or over the edge of the carpet as they walk through a high traffic path.) I should mention that prior to placing the order, it was obvious that they knew absolutely everything about carpet. Seriously, the most carpet knowledgable business anywhere. We did not hesitate to place the order. Their pricing was up front, and hey provided lots of options to meet the product application, and our budget. There were no surprises throughout the entire process. It's only been three months, but there is zero sign of wear on any of the rugs. I expect they will look new for years to come. We were apprehensive about selecting a carpet company. Tri-City Carpet received excellent reviews on NextDoor so we trusted our neighbors, and are so happy we did! Greg helped me in the showroom and worked with me to find what I was looking for. He let me bring a sample board home so I could check the color. Then he came out to measure and was quick and professional. He knows what he's doing. The install team of Jeff and crew (4of them) got here on time and worked so quietly we hardly knew they were here. Sure we heard some tapping and talking, but I mean REALLY quiet with their voices. When have you had 4 workers in the house who aren't talking on phones, joking and laughing? These guys were professionals, WORKING and respecting the customers environment. Greg measured again and had me make sure the roll of carpet they brought was the correct one before cutting it. They were careful not to scratch our newly painted walls. Jennifer and her crew accommodated me needs in just 4 days!! However, our renters wound up being "the renters from hell". They were easy to work with, got it done in a timely manner. No delays. The carpet looks amazing. Carpeting stairs is not an easy task, but they did it like pros, which they are! When they were all done, the guy just couldn't leave the crappy trim the people who did our bathrooms had put in 8 years ago. I understand quotes come from the sales team as a salesperson. However we wanted tile and HPV installed on our stairs, bedrooms, and tile installed in our bathroom. We chose Tri-City for their installers. We decided to choose them because of Shannons stairs. He specializes in stairs with an open stair case. The images were so good my wife had to choose them. Let's face it every company has about the same product or comparable product but it comes down to the installer. Alec and Shannon have spent a week at our small town home making sure everything is done with an expert personal touch. If they can do such an amazing job on a small 1,200 square foot town home and customize every little thing needed, they can do it for any place. I would highly recommend them for any size job. They both went above and beyond what they needed to do. I will send you pictures when it's completely done but I wanted to send them a kind note.
