I have taken my bike here several times over the last few years. Everything from bearing issues, flat tire, simple maintenance and new tires required. Every time I have taken it here I have been impressed with how quick they have been and they have always done everything needed. Including the time that "other" bike place had put on a tube that had far to short a stem for my style of tire...they replaced the tube so I could actually fill my tire easily and gave me a great deal on the replacement tube! Now this last drop-off was a 3-week wait, WWWWhat?? I get it, pandemic...everyone and their dog is biking....means long wait time for a guy that bikes all the time. I am out of town for a few days for work so no big deal. When I get home, weather is good...I am going to call and see if I can get my bike and just put it back in the queue when it's my turn. Bad bearings don't mean I can't ride, right!! Friday AM, one week in, I'm getting ready to call and they call me! Bike is ready, under $100 with all the work they did. I am amazed, happy and off for a Friday afternoon ride in the city. Friday afternoon, bike rides perfect. Repairs are all done and it's like i pulled it right off the rack! If you're anywhere near Maple Grove and bike, I would highly recommend going here! Great service from guys that understand how important your bike is! They have all the gear and adds you need to stock up on as well, one-stop-shop! KT

The clerk showed me a bunch of options and we had a fun convo about bike stuff. This felt like a great practical shop: not a giant bike warehouse or a lifestyle brand shop, but a place that sells reasonable bikes, parts and service.

After I picked it up, I noticed I wasn't charged for it and a week later, the front tire was flat again. I never got around to bringing it back until last week, and just asked to replace the tires and front lining. When I picked up the bike I explained what happened last time and asked if there was a warranty so I wouldn't have the same issue again. The guy at the register said no, there wasn't. I said I understood if there was a puncture or something that I caused, but just for the tires themselves, even a limited warranty? No. I guess I didn't know that was a thing. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, but the guy acted like I was. I dropped it, paid for it, and then he made a personal comment, saying I should go find an Air Conditioner and sit in front of it. It was hot and I walked a half mile there in the sun and I sweat a bit, always have. I felt this comment was unnecessarily confrontational and completely unprofessional. I have no problems with the products and service. I just didn't appreciate the personal comment, is all.

My husband and I have never put together a bike, but didn't think it would be too hard. Little did we know it is pretty challenging (not to mention a test to the relationship LOL). With that said, I have these folks a call to see if they would be able to help with bike set up and tuning even though I didn't purchase the bike from them. They were beyond willing to help and I was able to simply drop off and pick up when ready. Price was reasonable and service was excellent and efficient. I also liked how they took everyone's safety into consideration with their COVID precautions. My step son loved his bike and was a great gift, and I felt good that he will be safe riding this thanks to the staffs help and concern to safety. I would recommend all to this shop - the folks are great and extremely skilled at what they do. Thank you all again!

The tape install was good, the derailleur adjustment was below what we have experienced at Flanders, Now, Behind Bars and Recovery. We are new to the area and looking for a bike shop, will try Valley again, but our first go around for service was disappointing. At $149, the parts that were adjusted were not cleaned, the first time we had ever seen that work done while omitting the cleaning. We always shop and support independent shops.
