One of the bikes was giving us a little trouble. Trailhead was all over it to resolve our issues. They were top notch. I would highly recommend them as you can trust they will take care of you. A gentleman helped us and we made it clear we were new to ebikes. We were shown the entire line of Velotric. The employee seemed knowledgeable but didn't ask us questions to get to match us with the best bike. We were offered a test drive and we just chose two bikes but it wasn't really a helpful process as there was so much information it was hard to decide what e-bike would best meet our needs. We were both looking to buy but have decided to shop around at another competitor or maybe their other location. Even my spouse wasn't able to understand all the information presented to us. We are new to e-bikes and I was really hoping for someone who would have been able to meet us where we were at and guide us more in the selection process.

But I came across a bunch of vintage "Ariel" British motorcycle parts at an estate that are going up for sale on Ebay. Unfortunately, 2 of the wheels still had the antique rubber on them. I cut one off myself in my living room. It took me a long time and I just about took my finger off! That really sucked! Time for a professional. I made 4 phone calls, and the only local motorcycle guy that would help me out was Tom. It took Tom, an experienced pro, half an hour to get the tire off! He pried, he sliced, he applied soap, he cussed...and finally he cut the hell out of it with a high speed rotary cutter! Then he went the extra mile and buffed the rust off of two sides so I could show on my Ebay photos that the rust will, indeed, come off. All the while, he engaged me in funny conversation, jokes, and cycle knowledge. Last but not least, all of this set me back a measly 20 bucks! Let me back up, the sales guy Dan is a super nice guy did a great job doing his part. Finance was absolutely terrible, I was lead to believe it'd be a fairly easy process to sign out once I was approved but it took 6 hours! They had to have the guys in St Michael do it. I felt that 0 priority was given to my deal. After which once the paperwork was printed up I had to show the finance guy where I sign and he signs (I work in car sales) driving off the lot I thought the issues were behind me but I was wrong. I loved riding the bike for about 2 2 1/2 weeks until the fork was leaking. I figured no big deal seal replacement covered by warranty. Bison had to send my bike back to St Michael to be fixed where it continues to sit two weeks later. They are feeding me some bullshit about Polaris dragging their feet about sending the part. This is absolute garbage 0 customer service whatsoever. I am livid. I hope Dan finds somewhere to work that deserves his talents.

They have always tried to get me in asap and do quality work. Also they take care of customers machines when working on them and moving them around. I told him he'd have to work off the fees at $10/hr., but due to this shop's low prices and quality work, plus quick turn (just a few days), we got very little labor out of him. He was thrilled and wants to take his bike there for regular service.

I rented a Uhaul from Cars Bike Shop and I didn't realize that it was a contactless pickup at the…read moretime of booking so that is my bad! If I had, I would've rented from elsewhere. But I also didn't cancel cause the location was convenient and I figured it would be nice to support this small business! The contactless pickup ended up working ok. It took me a bit to figure it out but I ended up getting what I needed which was a Uhaul truck. I did order additional equipment: furniture pads and dollys. They were not loaded into the truck and there was no indication of how I could retrieve them since they were closed. Again, I got what I needed which was a Uhaul truck but I was basing how much help I needed on having 2 dollies so to not have them was an inconvenience. After returning my truck and noting that the equipment was not present, I received a receipt the next day with a refund for only a portion of the missing additional equipment. I'm glad that they recognized and did not charge me entirely for the missing equipment but there was not indication of why I wasn't given a full refund of that equipment. I reached out to them to simply ask why and I did not receive a response. Overall I would not recommend renting Uhaul equipment from this shop. Not sure how they are as a bike shop but I'm not willing to find out!
