This happened about an hour ago!, Don't shop or support FREEDOM, my wife went in to return a charger as she had bought the wrong one but apparently that makers her a bike theif even though she had bought it 20 minutes prior to bringing it back (with receipt) and they did not return it or refund it, according to this guy who was working,, she didn't get his name but the older guy with a beard, was being extremely rude to her, she asked why he was being such a dick and was told because he is one, she left in tears, Do not shop here if this is how they show their professionalism don't support people who threat their customers like this. Freedom the bike shop is as good as it gets ! We booked a couple bikes online for the weekend and decided to upgrade to E bikes when we got there. The staff were great in accommodating the change and setting us up on a pair of top end Specialized brand E bikes. Many thanks to Kurt (the owner) for arranging to meet us on a closed business day so we could enjoy the bikes over the long holiday weekend and return them at our convenience. These guys were gold! I rented a top end road bike from them at the price of a basic rental - totally unexpected. They equipped the big with a spare tube and C02 and the necessary tools for changing a flat (it did come in handy). Best of all though my wife had her own bike and popped in 3 times for various issues including aligning her tire and changing out pedals. They happily helped her out at no charge. Seriously nice folks that know their stuff. My GF has a complicated situation with her tri bike. She always panicks due to the lack of availability of parts for it. While assembling her bike, a few problems arose. We walked to this shop and the guys working were extremely busy. They could easily see the panic on her face, a couple of the guys took the time to talk to her, dealt with her concerns and had her up and running in a short period of time. Her issues were not exactly technical, for the most part. They got her bike and her psychological state of mind, back on track. Great operation they have to help those in need for bike service - maintained social distancing and proper sanitary environment. What got me is how i was treated when attempting to return an unused product. Yes there are policies but i believe in this situation, there could have been compromise. Rep and owner were not very friendly. I was told otherwise by another rep over the phone. Not bringing my business there nor will i recommend them to anyone. In the past few months ive gone into this shop and i have spent near 3000$. Ive even ordered a part, to support our local businesses ,rather than order online elsewhere.... Unfortunately ,i have been waiting months now,and still no part. Furthermore, very recently , i went in to find a part i needed desperately, and when i was shown a piece that one of the employees used themselves, i knew right away ir wasn't the thing i needed. I also knew it wouldn't work for me..I told them as much, and was returned with a snyde look, and rude comments. I'm not a pro by any means, although I do know what works for me ,and what doesnt. They acted as if i hurt their feelings,. I asked to seea another piece and was horrified when they returned from the back with an extremely childish and girly item.. I was astonished, and again they acted as if they had no idea why a 32year old man, would have s problem with this pink, purple part, lol..wow..to top it off ,another employee came stalking over my way and with a forceful demeanor, told me that if i wasnt satisfied ,or going to buy it then i could just leave.... Just ridiculous! After i receive my shipment, if i receive my shipment. I will never step foot into this shop again, which is a shame.. I'm wondering if the owners know that they have people like that working for them, as the face of their company... read more

We tried thrice, terrible experiences twice. One staff person was terrific, but another (possibly a manager) lied straight up, over a period of several minutes, and did not shift gears even when I addressed this. Absolutely bizarre. His lack of listening, responsiveness to customer needs, and so on, were also awful, but knowingly making stuff up and straight-up lying? That takes the cake. I wouldn't trust this shop as far as I could throw it. Relying on this business cost me a good $900 unnecessarily. We'll be taking our business elsewhere in future. read more
