The only negative comment I have is that the receptionist (a lady) didn't communicate very well with Kyle, or vice versa. It seemed at numerous times she didn't know what was going on with my work order or the estimate/payment that was given. My suggestion is to keep good records of estimates and phone conversations. All in all, Kyle was VERY customer service oriented and his prices were the best out there! I highly recommend Kyle and Snyder's.

Meanwhile leak continues and now mold is growing. Called four times and he promised to show. Our renter took off work to be there each time. No show. Now he won't answer our calls and we have had it. We even offered to pay him to fix his own mistake. Again, no show. Will have to take him to court to fix this. So frustrating.

SEARCH NO FURTHER! We had the greatest experience tonight with a late-night emergency main line…read moreservice call! Nothing worse than getting ready for bed, to find all the drains in the house are backing up. Time to call around... I first called one of the well-known plumbers you hear on the radio, and was surprised to learn there was a $99 +$265 emergency call out charge (a total of $364 before any repairs are even made!), and a 2-hour response tj. I came here to Yelp, and found Mike with Ace's Plumbing... most 5-Star reviews in the area. I called just before 9PM and Mike answered, said he'd be right over (though he was getting ready for bead as well when I called!). He was at my house within 15 minutes, diagnosed the issue within 5 minutes, and was soon running a snake down the main line! Was a total of 30 minutes and the job was done! So glad we searched Yelp and found Ace's! In the end, it cost us LESS THAN HALF of what the other guy wanted just to show up (not to mention a 2-hour response time). Thanks again Mike, you saved the day and saved us a ton of money!!!

I called Ace's Rooter for a clogged drain in my basement floor. Mike was fast to respond and…read moreactually came 30 minutes earlier than stated. The clogged drain was backing up in my basement about 3 feet diameter. It was a 15-20 foot line that ran toward the main line. The water went down the next day when Mike arrived. Mike said if he has to clean out the main line that would be 575, but he would clean out the small line for free. Mike put the camera down the small line which had a handful of small fingerlie type branches in there which shouldn't be. Mike said the pipe was bad and really needed to be replaced. He checked the mainline while I was upstairs turning on water for him. When i came back down stairs he said he already ran the camera down the main line and it was fine. I asked him to show me with his camera because I had just bought the house a few years ago and the house inspector showed me where there were a few branches at the end of the line that would need to be cleaned out eventually. Mike ran the camera again and there was sitting water at the end. He said he could clean out the lines but that would be 575+220 after he just told me he would do the small line for free. I then asked him for a rough estimate on replacing the small line. He got on the phone with his concrete buddy and was whispering in the corner on the phone. Comes back and gives me a quote of 9700.00. I ended up only having him clear out the small line and he ended up charging me 575.00. This guy does a bait and switch on his pricing, so I would get everything in writing on how much it costs before he does any work. I won't be using him again. He gets a 3 for his quick response and that's all. His pricing a 1. His integrity a 0.

While I accept some responsibility for not asking, I believe upfront disclosure should be standard practice. *UPDATE After reading my review, Taylor Plumbing reached out to kindly explain their billing process. I was not overcharged. From what I understand, they use a flat fee for the first job and a lower additional fee for each job after that. They were professional and respectful in clearing things up. My only suggestion: take a moment to listen and make sure you understand the pricing policy before the work begins.

Apparently they did not run the auger all the way to the septic. They certainly did not check, never looked at the tank. When the line backed up a second time I requested someone come out. I was told they were booked and it would be days before someone could get there. I spoke to young Mr. Taylor. He was unapologetic, had no empathy and was down right arrogant and antagonistic. I told him I would not use or recommend Taylor Plumbing in the future. His reply was, "You go for it buddy."

He kept telling me how nice it looked, and how he thought it wasn't very dirty. He was in and out of the house very quickly, and we had two sets of stairs, and several rooms to clean. The carpet didn't look much better when he was done, and two months later, it looks much worse that if we hadn't had them "cleaned" at all. I was hoping the "zero residue" would prevent this, but it turns out the only difference is that they use purified water. We are going to have to hire another company to come in and clean properly just to get the carpet to look as good as it did before Zerorez came out to "clean" it.

They were responsive on Yelp with Request-A-Quote, and while a notch higher than some others, I figured what the hell. They could have someone out same day and the reviews looked great. The tech was later than expected (4-6 p.m. window and arrived closer to 6:30) which wasn't ideal as we had sat down to dinner. Fortunately the job was small and he was quick to handle it. To me it's a lot like calling a plumber; it's going to cost you, but you know it's going to be done right. Galvin seemed professional in how they booked and assigned the electrician. Not every service company can say the same. Hopefully won't need them again, like, ever, but if so I would recommend them and go with them again.

One of the crew propped open the truck door and urinated in my driveway! I have a 15 year old girl that lives across the street and several girls behind us! Let alone, it was in my driveway!!! Their best employee was bidding out work on my house, for off the clock extra work. Their manager, Jays step son, threw his trash out in my yard, and when I said something his response was "it'll get buried when we fill the hole"! Not the point! They filled the gap where the new line comes into the house with window caulking instead of seam sealer or plumbers putty, they didn't reconnect my ground rod to my electrical panel and left me with deplorable excavating! My meter well is 6-8 inches below grade and I had a super high hump in my yard because they didn't finish! Then Jays wife came to my house and demanded to be paid! Hey finish the job first! Let alone they broke the law and didn't seed the raw dirt that law required! Stay away from them! This is a terrible company They go through employees like drill bits because they pay them or they short them. An employee can put a lien on your house to collect payment.
