Instead of being upfront or offering real solutions, they backed us into a corner and pressured us into adding a warranty just to force the deal through. What started as an exciting purchase quickly turned into a frustrating experience full of shady tactics and last-minute surprises. Let me remind you of why we got this rig in the first place... it's b/c we didn't want to camp in the rain or cold. So our first experience with this mother load was pulling out of the driveway. The alignment was terrible and had it not been for my friends forearms, we would've ended up in a ditch before even leaving the neighborhood. The worst part was when it rained almost a half inch. There was so much rain that the race was cancelled and we decided to head to a local bar. After we left, our friendly DD drove us back to a friend's house and water from the top bunk (above the cab where driver and passenger sit) poured on him by the gallons. All the windows were closed and somehow, the RV managed to catch loads of water and poured all over the driver and me (I sat right behind him). We were livid! We sucked it up and told ourselves it was a great story (maybe later) and we'd take it back and complain. While cleaning the RV, we took out all the mattress pads and saw all the mildew and mold that existed. Apparently they don't ever clean these RVs... They didn't charge us for everything (like cleaning) but it still makes me bitter.

We saw an advertisement for an RV of potential interest in their Woodford, VA lot, and sent an email expressing our interest to see the vehicle. A sales representative, Kurt, reached out to us, and we scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. Upon arrival, we found that Kurt had the RV waiting for our inspection. He had opened the "pop up" on the RV, and it had been freshly washed. Kurt was great, patiently answering questions -- before and after our test drive. We were also very pleased that he didn't "pressure a sale" nor did he try to up-sale us. Following our meeting, he sent professional emails to both me and my husband. We're still considering what options are most important to us in an RV, but Campers Inn will definitely be a company that we would consider purchasing from. We obviously can't speak to their prices, financing, nor servicing.

We were initially excited to get two units for a week, but the poor state of the units and the lack of ability to coordinate with the management rates 2 stars. We had a total of 10 people staying in the units and only had five towels total per unit for the entire week. Understanding COVID restrictions, however the dryer in the unit did not work so we were forced to bring to buy our own towels. There were also not enough utensils or plates or pots to cook daily meals, nor was the staff responsive to requests for help. At the end of our stay, the manager Matt Sheely, promised that he would refund $75 for the dryer being broken in one of the units, but we never received the refund - even after three conversations with Mr Sheely, seven unanswered voicemails, and two conversations at the supervisor level with Asha. As a retired veteran, I'm very disappointed at the level of disrespect and poor service provided through the MWR program.
