I used Buddy Pacheco and crew five months ago to transport my wife from Riverside to Rancho Mirage - a memory care facility to another. He provided good communication and transportation for that two-hour trip, and so when I needed a transporter to move my wife from Rancho Mirage to St. George, Utah - a long 7-hr drive and potentially troublesome trip - I went with Buddy again. His quoted price was the most affordable, but based on his previous work for my wife and me, I trusted his ability to deliver her to me safely. He was very patient and flexible while working with me on payment and my changing move date. Before transporting my wife, Buddy took the time to ask me questions related to my wife's favorite comfort zones for a long trip: what was her favorite music, videos, snacks, beverages? Did she prefer stops at a gas station or rest stop? What was her favorite fast food restaurant? Based on my experience with dementia, I felt Buddy also had experience with patients and what gives them comfort by his pertinent questions. I had to choose a very early start time and he arrived for pick-up promptly at 0600 after having to make a drive over an hour just to get there. Communication was great. His drive-time was very efficient and timely, and I could tell by my wife's state of mind upon exiting his very nice transport van that she not only enjoyed the long drive but had made friends with Buddy and his crew...incredible. They helped me move her belongings into the facility's lobby before returning home. Finding the right facility was incredibly stressful. Transporting my wife safely across two states was just as important. I am very grateful for Buddy Pacheco's work and experience. I would use his service again. My mother suffered a stroke two weeks back and left her unable to walk and with a last minute follow up appointment with her Doctor, I had no idea how I was gonna get her there. Alyssa contacted me for details and was kind and compassionate. Even though it was extremely stressful for mom, I can't thank Urbano the driver enough. After reading the reviews, I thought I would go along with booking from this company, but they're booking service is only through a phone call or a text ( they said easier to send a text) I sent a text so it could be easier and everyone and got a response and no one ever responded with a confirmation. That's so unfortunate. I was hoping for my mother to have a wonderful experience and vlog and shoutout this company on my IG/tik tok for my million viewers to see that there is a shuttle that provides destinations arrivals for the handicap. Wow. I just can't say enough about this company. Each and every driver and attendant is exceptional. They know their business and are caring and compassionate to their (patients, residents, riders?) AND their families. They are professional, timely and personable. (And if there is a delay, they are prompt to let us know what is happening.) My mom is recovering from a stroke and cannot speak much yet. Yet she was able to tell one driver, "thank you for taking such good care of me." Based on the previous reviews, I decided to try this company to take my disabled mom to her doctor's appointment. I wish I could say that our experience today was at the same caliber as the ones mentioned here. Buddy and Carmen did an outstanding job transporting my Aunt from Hemet to Bakersfield. She has dementia and they treated her like a queen! She was entertained during the 4 hour trip with episodes of I love Lucy, listening to Frank Sinatra, having a snack, and just good conversation. I was updated every hour of their location and how my Aunt was doing. Upon arrival to her new home, they even sent me a picture! Freedom Transportation went absolutely above and beyond! We were fighting obstacles one right after another looking for a same day one-way transfer. Buddy was able to squeeze us in and got my MIL safely transferred. We scheduled a wheelchair transport and when he got there to pick her up, facility said she needed gurney transport, which he was able to accommodate.
