This is the company you want to hire for non-emergency medical transportation. We were having such a problem with doctor's appointment transportation for our mother, AARP Medicare, Uber, Lyft and her assisted living could not get it together. None of them were reliable. One of her appointments takes over two hours. This company will call to confirm the day before, they wait for the client to finish with the appointment. They walk them into the medical facility, and they escort them back once the appointment has been completed. I don't normally write reviews. I usually do check-in's at certain places and that's about it. But after using Helping Hands 3 times, I think it's time that I do. These people are great. From the support staff over the phone, to the people who come and pick up my dad, they're all so polite and easy to talk to. I wish more places had employees like this. The main reason that urged me was the care that my Dad received. My Dad is bed ridden, he can't move, get up or anything at all, so a medical transport with a gurney was needed for a PET scan. Pete and Kevin came over, picked up my Dad, took him to Loma Linda Medical and they were so patient with me and the staff there. Loma Linda is currently undergoing construction for their new building so we were sent to different spots of the hospital to find the check in for this scan. But Pete and Kevin were super patient and helpful. They would even make conversations with my Mom and Dad while I go and ask for information for my Dad's scan. That's what won me over. Employees from other services would have just stayed silent, look at their phones, and waited (which is totally fine because hey, they're getting paid either way). Pete and Kevin didn't need to speak to my parents and keep them company, but they did. And that's the kind of polite, friendly, and courteous attitude that I saw. I hope that for whoever reads this review, gives this company a shot. He offered help when I needed it, and I appreciate his kindness. Got to my appt and he waited and helped me after I was done. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the lack of seating areas/choices for a heavy person. Even though I asked the operator about the seating ahead of time. I felt mislead about the seating, but I understand that most are in a wheelchair or gurney which I was not. I would have appreciated more comfortable seating that didn't make my wound bleed so much. From the first phone call to the last follow up phone call we got nothing but excellent service when we transported our mother from Riverside to the central valley. When reading what they do on their website, I was excited to think they'd be very useful in being able to assist my mom. She is in a wheelchair & also use's an electric chair. The website stated that they assist with shopping, family functions & so on. I decided to give them a call to see if I could schedule something so she could be picked up & taken to the mall to meet her sister for a day out. They informed me that they were really only used for medical appts. & if they did drop her off at the mall the cost was between $150.00 to $200.00 for 2 hrs! First off I said drop off, we can push a wheelchair (she can't get into any of our suv's). I was just surprised that they didn't do what they advertised they would on their site. read more

It's a very reliable, profesional and punctual pick ups transportation; Very accommodating, very well trained drivers, very polite dispatchers and most of all care for the comfort and overall well being of the patient in need. It took me more than 4 transportation vendors to go through to get something that'll be satisfying and up to my Mom's standards (Mom is 82 years old). Mom is a dialysis patient and it was very hard to find a very reliable vendor; but I was persistent and I found "Helping Hands!"
