I am in a fairly delicate state and had a heavy oxygen concentrator, portable oxygen tank and some other take-homes to deal with. My dearest friend did research on MEDICAL transportation companies, and when she called PRESTIGE, she was surprised when the owner, Luis, answered the phone on the first ring. She immediately established a rapport with him and knew she had found the right place for me. My discharge day arrived, and IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE CASE MANAGER AT LLUHC, everything would have gone smoothly, but this woman who shouldn't be allowed to work with PEOPLE or even animals, dropped the ball and I began to panic about getting home. Like a savior riding in on a white horse, Luis worked with me and completely saved the day! He sent IVAN to pick me up. What an incredibly amazing young man. I was in the best possible hands. Ivan was a cautious, respectful, and diligent driver, and even though being ill, the almost two hour ride home was enjoyable due to his personable nature. He's just awesome. Arriving at my home, Ivan brought all my equipment in and thanked me for being a great passenger! If you're like me and feel that taking an UBER (!) for a lengthy MEDICAL transport is not something you'd ever consider, please call PRESTIGE. I promise you will not be disappointed! On our return ride will call, they first wanted to make us wait 3 hours for a pick up. Then I got them to agree to 25 minutes, still long considering Lyft comes in under 5 minutes. Then the driver never showed up. Also, they don't send confirmation texts giving you the car's description and plate number. Very unreliable and I'd never use them again. You get what you pay for.

I was transported via a gurney by van from bed to bed, with minimal discomfort on the injury site. I felt secure on the ride so I was able to be calm and rest during the 3 and 1/2 hour transfer. I called 40 minutes prior to scheduled needed pick up time . The establishment called me and said they would put together a billing statement and text it to me and arrange the transportation if i wanted to accept the contract price . I got the pricing and it was $10 . More than the previous quote from the other provider given so ' i accepted and set up the transportation. The van used looked new and was clean and fully equipped with the latest wheelchair and gurney equipment. The driver was friendly and talkative ' and helped move my mother from the care center into the van and upon arrival helped her into the medical center for her appt ..( was told to call him once done for pick up and return to her homecare center ) after appt ..called driver ' 5 mins later van pulls up and the return trip was provided.
