We never got our wellness check but we did get billed for $674 ! Needless to say, we went went elsewhere for our family of 6.

After wasting an hour of our time, it became very apparent why their name was changed from "urgent care" to "convenient care," the entire staff has no sense of urgency and you're only treated if convenient for the doctor. My son is 3 years old and needed stitches as the result of a tumble at school. It took 20 minutes to check in and 30 to see the doctor, only to be told her "boss" didn't allow restraining children for stitches and it would be required for us to ultimately spend several hours in the ER waiting room & $400+ in co-pays and co-insurance. I called the children's after hours clinic for a second opinion and was ultimately given the same BS run around by a lazy nurse named Nancy. Instead, I opted to forgo their overly extreme advice and took my son to Premier Urgent Care in Temple. The staff went over and above my expectations, made sure to make this experience as non-traumatic for my son as possible and easily administered 3 pain-free stitches with no restraints. While my family and I have several amazing doctors in the S&W system, I will NEVER waste by time with this facility and their uncaring, lazy staff again.

The visit was available online through online scheduling. He arrived early as directed online in the online scheduling portal. All paperwork was completed prior to him walking in. At walk-in he was told they would not see him because they had two other visits and wouldn't be taking any more patient. He had an appointment made through their portal. If they were not taking any more patients the appropriate thing to do is to close out your visits. Poor patient experience. They didn't even check him to make sure he was ok before turning him away. He's a student at UMHB. We are not there with him and would expect hours listed on the website and appointments made to be honored.

I went on 3/26 because I had already been sick 5 days with a cough, phlegm, fever and chills at…read morenight, and muscle aches, and was given a ted talk by Catherine, the nurse practitioner, that she thinks the medical establishment wants to keep people sick and that antibiotics wreck your immune system, and that the clinic has been giving out antibiotics like candy but no more, and that she thinks you need to be sick two weeks before getting any. She even bashed glp-1's. She eventually agreed that if I didn't feel better by day 7 then she would write me a prescription. I called two days later at 1pm on day 7, Saturday, and was told she was busy and would call me back. Never got a call so I called at 5:10 and nobody would answer. I called just now at 8am Sunday and was told that a note was put in my chart that she spoke to me and told me to take OTC drugs until Monday. I never spoke to her by phone, so that's a lie, and why would I wait till Monday when she said day 7? That would be day 8. I explained this to the girl on the phone and she said, "Well that's what it says on your chart." I asked to speak with the nurse practitioner that was there now and she said she was busy with patients and wouldn't prescribe me anything without seeing me. I said "I'm a patient." And she said "sir, you need to either come in and be seen again, or wait until Monday." So I spent $150 for nothing, and now they want another $150 to get what I should have been prescribed already. I've been coming to this clinic for years, even back when it was doctor's express, but this experience has been awful and I'll never use this urgent care again. I'm a self pay person because I don't have insurance, and so I only come to the urgent care if I'm really sick. I always try and stick it out to save money, so when I do come it's because I genuinely feel awful and need help, and these people have treated me like a drug addict looking for an antibiotic fix. I feel like they got my money already so now I'm just a nobody. I'll never come back here.

Every visit has been amazing, we always go to their website and you can check appointment times before selecting a location (we seem to live in the center of all 3 so it doesn't matter to us where we go). The system keeps our insurance information on hand, I always do the paperwork through my computer when I schedule and then I don't have to do it when we go in. This is just an Urgent Care, it doesn't replace the emergency room or your regular doctor. All visits have had a sheet that tells you if you need to follow up with your doctor or not etc. I tell anyone I know when they need urgent care to come here. They have always been good to me and my children.... I have followed up with the PCM after when the injury/illness has required more in depth care etc. They definitely help fill in the gap when we can't get into the clinic and we don't need to go to the ER.

My daughter was screaming due to the pain and the response I received from the receptionist was that I have to wait since they were people before me. I do understand that but they need to be able to prioritize and think. If someone is bleeding or is under pain they need to wait in line. NOT URGENT AND NOT EXPRESS.
