I interviewed many roofing companies and decided on Revolution for several reasons. First and foremost, Andrew and his team discovered issues with my roof that other roofing companies had failed to point out. I had a drainage issue with an almost completely flat portion of the roof. Andrew and his team came up with a solution that will prevent pooling and drainage issues in the future. Second, Andrew was quick to respond to questions and gather answers and information necessary for me to make an informed decision. Other companies failed to respond in a timely manner, if at all. Third, Andrew and the team took time to come out and visit the house several times prior to replacement, take pictures, have meetings formulating a plan, and developing a solution for a roof that will last for decades. Once the replacement began, the team started early and worked late, to ensure the process moved quickly. Each night the roof was secured to protect from any possible rain that might occur through the evening. They were in constant contact with me, either by call or text, sharing pictures, to inform me of situations they found as they uncovered the old roof, and offered different solutions for my opinion on how to correct them. As the job came to a close, the team quickly cleaned up all debris. Andrew made a site visit once the crew had left and spent time looking for any nails or materials that may have been missed. I spent a few months trying to figure out a real problem. A residence with a flat roof Now, we're…read morenot talking just a little grade, so it'll eventually drain. We're talking dead flat here. It puddles for days. That makes me nervous, to say the least, and when the roof started to leak a little over the garage, I looked into building in a little slope, using a foam block process to do same (pricey!), redoing the roof conventionally, doing a rubber membrane roof as if it were a commercial property, or sealing it with a product like silicone, or foam, to make it a monolithic structure. After a lot of research on the net, and calling a couple of manufacturers, I went with silicone: this way, I don't have to worry about the roof for another 10-20 years. Sky Light Roofing is the company in our area that has done the additional training to apply this product- and I went with them. (Although he does conventional roofs too). It's a pressure washing/cleaning, priming, and applying process that takes care do make sure it's done exactly right. When the process was done, Juan had kept my renter totally satisfied, cleaned up every day, was knowledgeable, polite, and honored the date he said he'd show up(rain prevents them from applying this, so we had only one delay). His company is simply top notch. I give out few five stars, but, honestly, unless he did this roof for free, I can't think of any way he could improve!

What a nightmare!…read more Century roofing replaced our roof after hurricane Milton, and destroyed our home due to their poor workmanship and complete lack of accountability to repair properly. Our roof was "completed" on January 4, 2025 and immediately started collecting pools of water under the roofing material. We contracted for a modified bitumen flat roof replacement with a hard 3/8" silicone protective coating. That style roof is tightly bonded to the underlying hard material. What they installed, without our knowledge nor consent, was a loose plastic sheeting that was poorly attached at the edges with a thin 3/4" flashing and sealed with acrylic caulking. none of that would have passed a building inspection. Did I mention that they never pulled a permit, as required by law? Well the acrylic caulking melted away on the first warm day (which is almost any day in Florida). Water constantly built up under the cheap plastic roofing material and we could feel waves whenever we walked on it. The expensive silicone coating that was to harden more than concrete within six months, never bonded and crumbled like sand to the touch. Our home interior became unusable for months due to ceiling collapse, water damage and mold. it smelled horrible for months. We reported the problem immediately, and often until October, when we realized that they would never repair it. They had sent people to randomly caulk areas to "fix" the leak, even though it was apparent that the entire seal was faulty and that the materials under the cheap plastic were full of water and mold. One time, the home office sent a crew to replace one piece of underpayment, which they did while completely ignoring that all of the surrounding wood and materials b egg low the plastic were very wet and moldy. The owner himself even came out and declared the roof to be dry and properly installed. we have videos from before and after his visit showing puddles of water below the cheap plastic material. We never once went onto our roof from January until October without feeling those puddles under our feet. Iur flat roof is actually our terrace that we use regular. it was clear that their repairs were never going to fix the problem and our home would remain unusable until we hired someone to replace their work in the flat roof. Both areas of flat roof needed to be completely removed and started from scratch. So we had to pay another roofer to do that. A few days after the owner of Century declared the roof good, the new roofer pulled it up and found 80% of the wood was rotten due to water damage and mold. None of the industry standard methods of sealing the roof had been performed. Just short cut after short cut. We also had to pay another contractor to remediate the water damage and mold throughout the interior of the house that all came from the century roofing installation. We had just redone the interior earlier in the year after hurricane Milton, so everything was good before the horrible roof from century destroyed it. I wish that I could say something positive about Century Roofing, but I had to pay to replace my roof twice plus several thousand dollars more to remediate the damage caused by their poor workmanship and defective construction.

Slow service, outsourcing to third party teams and sloppy work -- we gave up…read more CSL Construction was recommended to us by a water damage crew after a pipe burst in our home. While the water damage crew (a seperate company) did a great job, CSL has been a headache for the past 3+ months. A project, initially slated to be 2-4 weeks took over 3 months. Workers regularly showed up at 10:30 am to leave by 2pm. So I believe this project could have been finished in that time frame, if people actually showed up. The first image I use to show the date of July 17th, already well into their construction as you can see drywall put back up. Today, September 14, the project was "ended," not necessarily finished, but we gave up with CSL's standards. Along with having third party companies do their work (CSL denies this, but the employees themselves gave me their business cards and told them to call "the real workers" for our next project), we only spoke to our project manager when we had serious issues, when we were told he would show up every 2-3 days. NOT ALL NEGATIVE -- I will say, the hardwood flooring installation was done really well. We requested the floor colors and plank length to be mixed around to make it appear random and they did a really good job at that. * It makes me believe that we were given a team that is focused on floors but can "also kind of" do baseboard. * I will also state that our rebuilt bench is really well done. But, I have to note that Project Manager Hunter himself said that the team of two working on it didn't work under CSL and were hired out. I am disappointed in poor communication, sloppy finishing work and the slow speed. I gave a 2 star, instead of 1, because of the nice looking floor and bench installation. And 1 star (to me) would mean they didn't get the project to a livable level.

PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING: A few months ago we contracted Dwain and his company to take on a very…read more"easy" bathroom (his words, not mine) renovation that according to him would only take 3-4 days. Almost 3 weeks later and after never arriving on time ONCE to start at the time they mentioned, they finally "finish" one of the laziest jobs I ever seen a contractor do. During the time, we were instructed that the showers were good to be used but instead that caused house leaks that caused my 1 year old rooms to be flooded while she slept at 2am... multiple times. They came out to fix the issue, but again... used the wrong adhesives to connect the PVC and a few weeks later, we had another flood in the house. They never closed the holes done in the wall, they subcontracted some random dudes, and NOT ONCE showed on time. They deflect fault by hiring others, and when they realize the job is bad, they bad mouth contractors. BE CAREFUL WITH HIS CHEAP QUOTES: After the job was completed we've had to pay thousands of dollars to replace/redo the cheap work completed by Carbon Acquisition Group, Dwain and his SUBCONTRACTED WORKERS. These are not his employees he uses, he hired cheap labor and when things go belly up, he blames on bad contractors HE HIRED. The contractors reached out to me to complain he underpays them, or doesn't pay them at all. After having other professionals at home within their area of expertise (ex. plumbers), they've had nothing but scary things to say about the job completed by CAG. When they did our showers, multiple professionals AND friends have all communicated how many important components were missing from the shower. He even complained about the tiles that we bought were too small (they were normal bathroom tile).... this is when I should've picked up on his lazy/cheap tendencies and backed out. So far we've had over 3 leaks (2 shower, 1 toilet) and 6 contractors who specialize in their area to fix this lazy company's errors. If I could back and hire someone twice as expensive to receive a better quality job finish, I would do it in a heartbeat. Do not hire this company unless it's basic handyman work, and even then I would beware. If I could give a negative score, I would.
