I interviewed many roofing companies and decided on Revolution for several reasons. First and foremost, Andrew and his team discovered issues with my roof that other roofing companies had failed to point out. I had a drainage issue with an almost completely flat portion of the roof. Andrew and his team came up with a solution that will prevent pooling and drainage issues in the future. Second, Andrew was quick to respond to questions and gather answers and information necessary for me to make an informed decision. Other companies failed to respond in a timely manner, if at all. Third, Andrew and the team took time to come out and visit the house several times prior to replacement, take pictures, have meetings formulating a plan, and developing a solution for a roof that will last for decades. Once the replacement began, the team started early and worked late, to ensure the process moved quickly. Each night the roof was secured to protect from any possible rain that might occur through the evening. They were in constant contact with me, either by call or text, sharing pictures, to inform me of situations they found as they uncovered the old roof, and offered different solutions for my opinion on how to correct them. As the job came to a close, the team quickly cleaned up all debris. Andrew made a site visit once the crew had left and spent time looking for any nails or materials that may have been missed. This was hands down the worst contractor experience I have ever had in my life. From the very…read morebeginning, I felt misled about the timeline, the permitting process, and what was actually going to be done on my roof. The communication from the salesman, office staff, and everyone involved was extremely poor and inconsistent. I hired Florida Elite Roofing expecting a professional company that would honor its contract and communicate clearly. Instead, the process became one of the most stressful experiences I have ever dealt with as a homeowner. The delays and lack of clear communication caused me real hardship, especially because this roof was tied to important insurance and property-related deadlines. What should have been a straightforward roofing job turned into a drawn-out, frustrating, and exhausting process. What makes this even worse is that after the roof was completed, I personally went up and inspected areas around the roof. That is when I started finding issues. I found rotted wood that, in my opinion, should have been replaced during the original roof work. They ultimately had to come back out and spend approximately six hours fixing wood issues that I believe should have been addressed correctly the first time. The biggest red flag was the wind mitigation report. The signed contract referenced important items such as peel-and-stick secondary water resistance and hurricane strap/roof-to-wall improvements. However, the wind mitigation report I received appeared to contradict those contract items and did not reflect the upgrades I believed I paid for. Eventually, the owner contacted me after they agreed to fix the wind mitigation issue. In my opinion, he portrayed that the wind mitigation had been corrected, but stated that it would not be provided until final payment was made. Based on that understanding, I made the final payment. After payment was made, I was provided what appeared to be the same wind mitigation report, still stating information that did not match what was represented in the signed contract. To me, that is completely unacceptable.

Called Gravity this morning based off their 5-star rating. Some door knocking company came by…read moreyesterday and said my roof was in bad shape and needed to be replaced like pronto. You're not gonna have surgery without a 2nd opinion, so don't let someone work on your house without one either. The gentleman, Steve, on the phone was personable and pleasant. Told me they could have Hunter out this morning. Same day service .... Impressive!!! I had told Steve the story they had told me about hail storm in June 2024, Hunter took the time before coming to do his homework to let me know it was actually July. He went up and I could hear him moving about the roof, he even brought down a remnant of a previous solar pool heater that was left up there when I had full solar put in. He let me know what I already knew, my roof is fine, has some years left in it and the door knocking company was blowin smoke for an insurance payday (my words not Hunter's). Hunter was an absolute joy to have around, my dog loved him, he's funny, has an awesome personality, is personable and direct about what he sees up there. Even told me he'd bring down pictures if he did see anything. The door knocker didn't show me squat. Gravity has thoroughly earned their 5-Star rating. Looking for someone to trust with your home, this is who you call!!!!!
