    The run has three separate fenced areas for your dog(s) and their friends to run, play, or just…read morecheck out the scents of other visitors. The fencing appears to be secure and in good condition - standard chain link - with one exception (picture included). If your dog is a jumper or a large dog that is motivated, you will want to walk the fence line for your dog's area. There are tennis balls for the dogs (lots of them) and buckets of water. There were five other dogs in the dog run while we were there, three appeared to be together and one of the three was very aggressive; they got their own area as the other dog owners steered clear. Lots of parking and a porta-potty for the humans. And it is loud at the dog run, because of the proximity to I64. And of course the dog run is located in Cherokee Park, so you can get your steps in before after your pooch gets theirs. Dogs must be licensed and members of the dog run association. No free lunch, but a welcome substitute for a large back yard if you are a resident of Louisville metro.
