I have usually had a good experience at the yarmouth store, but last week was disappointing , I…read morewent in to buy my bird seed ,was told by Manager cashier they had what was advertised out back,he called for associate to retrieve some ,I waited and waited,asked another associate if he knew if it was being retrieved said he would take care of it,waited and waited again ,finally asked where the original Manager was ,told he went to lunch then told they were out of the bird seed advertised. went back today told cashier what I wanted but bag was too heavy for my disability could he get the bar code, nope I had to drag 40lb bag so he could see it , cashed out no offer to help , even though when I was waiting when I first went in for him to finish his phone call,when another associate came by him and took person behind me ,I was fine with that he probably didn't know I was waiting no problem, I support the young people today and worry about their future in todays world ,I am closing in on 80 years old and remember the days when I was brought up to show some consideration and help, I am disabled and had to get the 40lb bag to my vehicle myself. I just remember the days when I received as well as gave some respect. Respect doesn't cost anything and I am a Veteran that was brought up while in the Military that Respect was # 1. Jon B. First step in, I love it! Tons of people helping customers find what they are looking for. As soon as I walked in someone asked if they could help me with anything, and they quickly made my keys for me. I spent time picking out key covers and carabiners. I'm so glad someone told me about this place. It's much closer than driving to other larger stores and they had plenty of stuff! I also can't say enough good things about every one who works here.

The customer looked at me with disbelief and walked off. Then my turn was next. I had just purchased an item days earlier that was hundreds of dollars and didn't work right out of the box. I had my receipt with me. He would not exchange it or refund me. He said they had to ship my brand new item out for repair. I don't think I have ever seen such a rude and angry person allowed to deal with the public anywhere. I thought he was joking at first it was so bad.

In the second area he lingered a few feet behind me for a long time after I found the area I needed: which I noticed, thought was strange, and I got the sense that he was trying to be intimidating. Then another costumer needed help finding something so he walked a away for less than a minute. Then he returned & continued eyeballing me. Very obvious and intrusive. After I found what I needed I walked to the front, and when I passed him I said; "You watching me like a hawk?" His reply was "yeah". I've been followed around in stores before, and I really don't like being profiled. But he admitted what he was he was doing which is accusing someone of being a thief by de facto. I'm not a thief, and have never stolen from a business. I voiced my protest to the guy at the front of the store. I really don't like leaving reviews that are negative because it affects everyone there. But when there's a employee who acts like that I'm sure the business owner would want to be aware. I'm almost 50, have never stolen from a business, and really don't like being treated like that.

The person…read moreat topsham Home Depot at 10:30 am said they had two ready, and I indicated that the one was needed today. I drove in to pick it up and they were not available. An employee (perhaps the same one that lied earlier) said they could not be rented even though they were both there, they had not been inspected and the computer system said not ready to rent. They refused to inspect and check in the lift. So I ended up driving away. So Home Depot lied and told a customer they were available to be picked up today , then when driving in they said they were not available because they had not been inspected. What a pathetic joke of staff. When calling the store to complain to the store manager that he has serious disrespectful staff (I don't appreciate being lied to the wasting my time for their lie) I was attempted to be redirected to the rentals depts.
