We booked a round trip there at the airport, and had the receipt sent to us by e-mail. Our driver was very nice. Insisted on doing most of the work getting bags into the van. We hadn't requested a private shuttle, but since nobody else was leaving the airport during our time slot, we had the van to ourselves, which meant that I could take the front passenger seat and snap some great mountain photos while we were on the road. When we got to Alta Lodge, our driver used the courtesy phone to let them know we'd arrived. He got our luggage out for us, hey, why not take it easy - it's 8,600 feet! And then he was on his way. The return trip back to the airport was much the same. This driver was not as talkative, but the driving felt safe and pleasant. Tip: Have some cash ready to give your driver a tip.

Preserverance on google paid off however when I came across the website for Advanced Transportation. This place declined to price gouge festival goers and charged me the same rate they charge year-round: $80 for a one-way shuttle to Park City from the airport. This rate applies for up to two people! While I didn't get picked up in a Lincoln Town Car, I was comfortable enough in the mini-van that showed up. From the reservation staff to the driver, everyone was friendly and professional. Definitely an affordable option for getting to Park City if you're traveling in pairs and don't want to rent a car.
