Just got insurance. I'm part of the Freeway Insurance family. I was a long time member for Mercury Insurance and my insurance kept on going on, I just had enough of them. This last time they wanted to charge me $820 for renewal when I was paying $345 a month. This is a ripped off, I just had enough of it. First off, I wanna say it's been a heck of a year to say the least. Me and my wife went through fraud with our bank cards, so when our insurance company went to take the money out, I completely forgot that we changed cards and they canceled my insurance! (Which I was paying a great price on btw)... Went to a few mainstream insurance agencies, and none of them came anywhere close to what I was paying for my last full coverage insurance. And then I decided to try freeway out, (specifically the one in chino hills on pipeline and chino hills parkway), and let me tell you, CYNTHIA was an amazing not only agent, but person. She was funny, comforting, understandable, and VERY helpful through this trying time. She got us full coverage, paying close to the amount we were paying before. One said you have to go to local office and when I asked where is your local office closest to me. He couldn't even give me an answer. I've called several places prior to calling their office in Chino Hills Each place I've called before this place, I've been put on hold for a good 5 to 10 minutes. I called this place and received a quote almost immediately. After doing the math, I realized this place has the best price compared to several other places. Walked out insured and happy. Freeway insurance is a joke. It is not an insurance company they are a broker, a middle man. They charge you some ridiculous broker fee, to sign you up for insurance through an actual insurance company you can just call and sign up for on your own. On top of that I was told that I was good to go after submitting documents of proof of marriage yet I am being charged through the actually insurance company because freeway never actually sent over those documents. I would stay away from this ridiculous joke of a company and just go straight through to the actually insurance company. read more

Wish I could give them a negative 5 stars!! The two "gentlemen " that work there, are nothing but thieves!! Last time I went they tried to charge me $100 to drop a car and $100 to add a car! Beyond ridiculous.. I understand broker fees but god damn might as well steal my purse with the $200. Now they are saying my insurance is "canceled" when I tried making a payment right now (today is the last day I can pay) and they want to charge yet again the $200 to re-install !! When my insurance is STILL active .. This probably isnt the place you want to go for insurance i was told i could do a payment plan with this company for my insurance plan that totaled to nearly 400 hundred dollers do to a brookers fee instead they took out the full amount from my account the manager JAY from this location was very arugmentive woth me did not help not one bit insteas he tried to convince me what had happen was not his fualt but it was mines after talking to custumer service and the corporate office each represenative kept threatning that there was nothing i could do do to the fact that i had signed paperwork for my plan i lost $380 for a month a of liability and terrible service i couldve went somewhere else for that amount of money with full coverage so if you dont mind wasting money and crappy service thia is the place to go to on the other hand the reason why i was sold in the begining was that told me they woyld discount me for a good rating on this app so most of these comment are a fake doorstep to savings read more

I came in here to get a policy after being with Adriana's and on paper Ana made my new policy sound amazing at $150 because she is disputing 2 accidents, one was a hit and run which by default I am at fault. She states I have to shell out $400 dollars, being desperate I pay it this was on October 27th then not even a month out Stonewood sends me a letter of cancellation. WTF?? $400 dollars for one month of coverage, this is worst than Adriana's. I go in speak with Ana again and she states that my two accidents combined are too much for the insurance company to cover me, shouldn't she have been aware of this before I paid??? Her solution? To get another policy with her WTFFFF????? She now wants me to shell out $295 dollars for a new policy....So $400 for the first policy plus $295 for second is almost $700 for two months of coverage. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?THIS IS SOME BS!!!! All this company cares about is their broker fee DO NOT GO TO THEM!!! BETTER OFF WITH ADRIANAS ATLEAST THEY LET YOU KNOW YOUR GETTING SCREWED. To make things even better I signed up for automatic payments so Stonewood takes the payment on 11.27.15 and they are cancelling me on 12.03.15, I call them and they state I will get the money back in a month that my broker should have never disputed a hit and run because if they don't get the other driver you always become at fault.Thanks for nothing but a headache Freeway. read more
