They basically had to redo work from the other shop - and walked me through each step. The work done was like night and day - they did such a good job and my car feels rock solid again. It's been dragging about an inch off the ground since then. With my work schedule I was just not able to get it fixed. I take my dog to doggy daycare right next to Main Auto and I thought....I'm just going to ask if they can unscrew the part hanging down. I stopped in the office and asked and right away the Owner (I think it was the owner) came out and looked and called one of the guys over to fix it. I told him it was like 2 screws. Of course after the guy went under the car it was a bit more that needed to be done. I offered my credit card and he said I didn't have to pay anything. Call me old-fashioned, but I like conversations more than technology. I do like the video that…read moreaccompanies the estimate, but the video did not even mention several items that ended up on the estimate sheet. No explanation, no justification, just "mileage indicates" on the repair estimate list. No one explained what the proposed procedures actually do. Yes, I googled them, only to find online mechanics claiming that the procedures are used as ways of padding the bill. I'm not saying that was the case for me, but it gave me pause. Trust is hard to grant any mechanic, so I moved on. I just didn't feel like this place passed my gut instinct of trust test. For the record, there are "teams" of mechanics here. I don't know what other teams are doing, and they really are separate entities (for purposes of trust ) under one company name. I was referred to one team and ended up with another. Had I known, I would have insisted on the name of the mechanic I was given. So, if you get a referral for a mechanic you heard good things about, don't let them put you in with another mechanic's team. That may have been my mistake.

Their work is quality, and I dont mind driving from Redmond or Madras for their quality work! They've always performed the work I requested, and do a great job communicating with the insurance companies to give feedback and full explanations on why the estimates were what they amounted to. The front office ladies are prompt about communicating with me and letting me know where they're at in the repair process too. Forget where you live, get your car towed there for service you'll be happy with upon completion.

We called a few places, including the dealership, to see if someone could take a look and tell us what was wrong. These guys not only got us in, they were able to take a look at it within about 15min!!! They diagnosed a bent brake plate with a rock stuck in it (causing the screeching). They quickly fixed the problem and got us on our way - charging us just for 30min work! Really friendly shop. Highly recommend!

My son and I were driving my 2017 Jeep home (West Richland, WA) from South Lake Tahoe, when it…read morestarted acting up just South of Bend. The cruise control began kicking off, and then some warning lights came on. When I got to Bend in the late evening we stopped at a parts store and they put the Jeep on the diagnostic tester, and it gave several error codes, but they said it would probably be ok to drive the remaining 250-300 miles home through some desolate country, at night with a chance of rain. When we got to Redmond we decided to stop and get a hotel and have the Jeep checked out in the morning. I chose Earp's. Good choice!! I was greeted by Jason, and he immediately looked at the error codes, consulted his mechanics data base on common fixes for those codes, and cleaned and tightened the battery terminals and the ground connections, while checking the battery voltage readings. After spending 30-40 minutes working on the car, he told me he'd be comfortable driving it home. I asked him how much I owed him, and he said no charge...just get home safely! We were back on the road, and one of the best things to come from this was the peace of mind I had while traveling North. We drove all the way home with no issues, no warning lights...no problems at all! Jason: you are my hero! I would highly recommend this shop for your auto needs.
