We went whitewater rafting and our guide was Ron. We had so much fun. They were very thorough with the safety procedures. My wife was a bit worried about the youngest, bu they put her at ease. We did the half day trip and got to hit some class ll and class lll rapids. The kids got to float through a class l and jump off a rock. We will definitely be back! We'll try to be back earlier in the summer when the water is higher so it'll be a whole new adventure!

French Broad Adventures always does a top-notch job!! Reservations are easy, facilities are great, staff incredibly attentive and knowledgeable! We have rafted with them during a variety of water-levels and ALWAYS had a great time!! I highly recommend them! Plus downtown Marshall is very nearby! A cute little town with a brew-pub, coffee shop, The Old Marshall Jail and tons more!

10/10 Recommend!!! We had Pete as our guide and he was great! He's got jokes for days but also takes everyone's safety very seriously!! The day started off raining but that didn't hold us back from having a great time! Thanks for such an awesome experience!!

We had such a great time rafting today with our guide Matt. We are a group of 14 on a bachelorette weekend trip in Asheville and decided to go rafting. French Broad Adventures offers a variety of activities and specifically for the rafting there were multiple levels to choose from which was great. Matt was funny and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the outdoors in general. All the rest of the staff were also very friendly, helpful and professional. We would recommend this company 100%. Thanks for a great time!

I was wanting to white water raft again for years. We chose this place because it was the closest to Asheville. It was fun and the staff were so chill and professional they made it worth it. The river ride is about 5 miles and there are a number of rapids and some places to swim. It wasn't enough big rapids for me but fun still the same. If you're going for the first time this is an excellent choice.

Sam was the best guide down the French Broad, especially with my mother who is terrified of water! Great group!

The obstacle course was fun and challenging, we were entertained the full 2 hours and the kids loved the independent nature of it. There were plenty of courses and we didn't even finish them all so it will keep you busy the full 2 hours. I was actually scared a couple of times and was shocked how brave my kids were. The set up is extremely safe thanks to a unique two smart buckle feature (it has a safety feature where you cannot unbuckle one of the buckles until the other buckle is on the wire, so you always have one buckle safely attached to catch you. Great because even distracted kids can't screw it up. Definitely worth it.

Getting combo tickets, we started with the treetop glow trail on their high ropes course. Next, we visited a market of kid makers. Afterwards, we walked their story-walk trail about Jack Frost. The trail includes stops and actors. My eight-year-old daughter loved it! What a fun seasonal experience!

GPS gave great directions and we arrived on time. If coming from NC on 40 west, please allow extra time for construction, about an hour. Upon arrival at Legency we were greeted by smiling facing at the service counter. We got checked in quickly, given the run down on the wait time. They do not have lockers, so its recommended you lock your belongings in your vehicle. They do take your keys for safe keeping as certain items are not allowed on the course. The gift shop has a ton of unique souvenirs. We purchased t-shirts, they have a large selection. They sell some snacking items and drinks. The restroom was clean. They have rockers on the porch and a fire pit area to hang out at until its time to rig up. Our instructors Matt and Daniel got us into our harnesses and explained how they work. We loaded onto the bus for a trip to the top. Along the way they explained the course and what to expect. Of the 7 lines, the first 2 lines are beginner lines. Each line gets faster and higher. They gave great instructions , and were very helpful. They put everyone in our group at ease. Also, they are quite funny. Don't tell them, we don't want it going to their heads. Waters were offered , so stay hydrated. It was overcast due to the morning rain, but the views were still majestic. Line 6 was my favorite. The course takes about 2 hours. We have ziplined before, but it did not compare to this. The views over the tree tops, approximately 540 feet were amazing. Everyone we encountered, from the service gals , the bus driver, the truck driver to the instructors were absolutely wonderful. We had a great time , See ya next year

Helped us with all the equipment took us all way to the top of the mountain. Explain what was gonna happen before it happened. Super great experience highly recommend only have one complaint and that's the pictures. They only take pictures on zip line 6 and they give about eight piece for the price is just not worth it. I hope one day they run out GoPro to go on your helmet or on your chest so you get a Birdseye view of what you're doing or a handheld one that can tie to your wrist like they do skydiving. i'm still giving a five star rating cause other than how they did the pictures. Everything was top-notch.

After getting fitted with our harnesses and helmets, we took a UTV up the mountain to the course's starting point. The course had six lines in total. The first was fairly easy and definitely helped build our confidence, while the next few gave us a chance to get comfortable and find our bearings. One of the lines stretched over 1,200 feet, and because each was set up as a dual zip line, my friend and I were able to race each other along the way. One of the best parts was the scenery. Flying through the trees with views of the Great Smoky Mountains and downtown Gatlinburg below was an incredible experience. On a particularly clear day, you can even see into North Carolina. Between some of the lines, we also had to cross a skybridge to reach the next section of the course, which added another fun element to the adventure. Our guides, Leah, Gracie, and Kira, were incredibly helpful throughout the experience. They assisted us on and off the lines, kept things fun with their personalities and humor, and made us feel comfortable the entire time as we flew through the forest. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting or spending time in the Gatlinburg area. They'll take great care of you, and you're guaranteed to have a lot of fun. It's the kind of experience that creates great memories, whether you're there with friends, family, or a group.
