Not sure if these are all beef, but they are tasty and don't taste packed with fat and filler like low-grade dogs. The toasted bun is a classy touch. The namesake, fresh-cut Idaho fries, are skin-on, hot, and salty with soft, fluffy insides and crispy outsides. Think boardwalk style. A little malt vinegar or ketchup helps cut the grease. Yum! Impressed! It is always a pleasure to discover a new treat and my wife and I did with this restaurant. There are times that a person just needs a "good burger joint" and FF nailed it. Black & Blue Burger was great but the Chili Cheese Fries even better. I think that is homemade chili or sure tastes like it it. Clean and has that traditional diner feel to it. I had the old fashioned burger and was pleasantly surprise at the quantity and quality of the beef, especially when it's sold for under $4 (as if the time of this review). The milkshakes have a distinct hand-scooped quality. You can definitely taste the chocolate ice cream in he chocolate shake. I will just say be careful where you park your car, a relative of mine parked his car in a designated parking spot. a truck backed into him getting out of his spot then took off without stopping. The owner of this property would not cooperate with the Asheville Police Department who requested the video surveillance tape.
