Although the store was not busy & there were 2 salespeople there, neither one of them acknowledged nor greeted me once even though I passed by each of them within about 5 feet (a few times). Selection was OK; but the service was absolutely terrible. read more

The whole upstairs area was on sale 40-70% off when I stopped in this past weekend. Among the sale items were plenty of dresses and tops from Milly, Diane Von Furstenberg, Vince, Rebecca Taylor, Theory, 3 Dots and Ella Moss. There were also stacks of jeans on sale from Seven for all Mankind and Citizens of Humanity. I snagged a Trina Turk dress half off. I also saw another I really liked but the zipper was broken. They offered to get it for me from their Wellesley store but I was leaving the next day so that didn't work. As my purchase was rung up I was offered a garment bag for my dress by one shopgirl and then the offer was swiftly retracted by another because the dress I bought was on sale. Both were apologetic, but seriously? If you offer a woman a garment bag and she accepts, give it to her. And after all, even on sale, this dress was still well over $100. I liked French Lessons whilst shopping but their garment bag cheapness left me feeling less than fabulous about the place. read more

This is a great little store near the corner (of Thoreau??) right in the center of town. I've been coming here for years whenever I visit my grandmother to eyeball the gorgeous dresses by designers like Jill Stuart (a personal fave). It's an expensive store, but then you remember you're in Concord. read more

I only got to stop in here for a little while while touring the downtown area. The shop is clean, well organised and has the typical boutique atmosphere. The staff was friendly and inviting but not pushy as I browsed. The clothing has obviously been hand picked and is high quality with the price tag that comes along with that. That's the only minus star I saw about the place. Other than that it could be a good place to buy that special staple piece for your wardrobe. read more

Clothing is nice, customer service is not. Unfortunately staff don't seem to know a lot about the fabrics of merchandise and the wear and tear, and with such a tight return policy there isn't anything you can do if you aren't happy with your purchase. It's too bad because the potential for a fantastic shopping experience is there, but the follow through is overlooked right now. read more

I come to Concord for business every few months and I always was intrigued by this boutique. Finally one day I decided to check it out and I ended up buying a Free People shirt here and a pair of J brand khakis here. The pants were soft and comfortable (they cost $200) but I wasn't happy with them after I got home and got a second look. I don't live that close so I made a special trip back to return the pants. Even though it was less than 7 days after I bought them, their return policy is only store credit within 7 days, even with receipt and tags. This is a very strict policy for an upscale boutique. They were not upfront about it when I checked out and when I complained about not being informed, they pointed to a sign saying "see its right here." It was this little sign in a picture frame at the register that isn't that eye catching or noticeable at all. Upon checkout it should be their policy to tell each customer about returns before you buy. The staff there was super nice and friendly, which is why I'm even giving it 2 stars along with the cute selection of clothes that are unique. Otherwise I'd give it 1 star as their return policy is way too strict, especially if you have receipt with tags still on merchandise. Now I have a $200 credit there which I don't know when I will use nor do I really want to go back. Cute boutique but at least beware of their return policy before you are out $200 like me! read more

Their return policy is such that if an article of clothing is purchased as a gift, then it is almost never possible to return the article within the conditions stated on their receipts. So we will never ever visit this establishment again to purchase a gift, since it is likely to be money down the drain read more
