I believe they were training a new person and as we walked by we were still not greeted (it did not bother us, unfortunately we are quite used to this in these suburban towns). We took our time browsing the store as they had a selection of baby related items towards the very back of the store that we found cute yet (albeit very expensive). We spent about 10 mins. As we were leaving we see one of the (presumably new) employee with green hair walk towards the section we were in. He went past us and awkwardly followed us without uttering a word, made us feel like shoplifters. We were deeply offended and and felt disgusted as we exited the store. Apparently we are not the only ones who experienced this, I attached a screenshot of a 56 year old woman who was also followed. This store really needs to reduce their hubris, there is literally nothing of great value to steal from in this store. An apology to this review would be nice, however we do not plan on returning ever and the lack of accountability based on other replies does not provide us with much hope. TLDR; we went in this store and without any verbal interaction, was followed by an awkward employee. We felt offended and disgusted. It's 2024 and I would hate to imagine what the chain of events would be, if we were of a darker skin color.

My mother recently purchased a necklace for my 13-year-old daughter as a generous gift. While it was beautiful, it was not her style, and my mother encouraged her to exchange it for something she would truly love. I came into the store within the 14-day return window, as outlined in the policy, with the original receipt and item in hand. From the start, the interaction felt uncomfortable. The sales associate seemed visibly displeased that I was requesting an exchange and responded curtly when I asked a simple question about the value available for the exchange. The tone throughout the process felt dismissive rather than helpful. When my daughter selected a new piece, another associate completed the transaction, but the energy remained tense and unwelcoming. Attempts at light conversation were met with minimal response and little eye contact. The overall experience left both my daughter and her friend feeling uncomfortable, which is unfortunate given that this was meant to be a positive moment. As a long-time customer who has spent thousands of dollars at Isabel Harvey, I left feeling disappointed and discouraged. A return or exchange, especially within the stated policy, should still reflect the same level of customer care and professionalism as a sale. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Given this experience, I will be reconsidering where I shop for gifts and jewelry moving forward.

I went into the store today, 2 women were working and seemed to be rearranging some of the items in the store. I walked through the entire store, passing by them at least 2 times - no one else was in the store and they never once greeted me or asked me if I needed any help.
